Drabikstani scientist admits nuclear weapons program

Kibardograd - The IAEA today announced it was seeking further information from the government of Drabikstan after a Drabikstani scientist yesterday admitted to working on a nuclear weapons program. The military scientist told the IAEA in a secret meeting that the Drabikstani government had ordered the creation of a military nuclear weapons program last year, in response to foreign threats of invasion.
The government of Drabikstan hours ago labelled these claims as false and said it was seeking nuclear energy for domestic civilian use. So far, Drabikstan has refused to sign IAEA nuclear safeguards claiming the measures are hypocritical and ineffective.
Drabikstan has also developed a limited ballistic missile arsenal, which was used against Dnever during its war for independence. Drabikstan's pursuit of ballistic missile technology and these new claims of a nuclear weapons program will increase speculation over Drabikstan's nuclear ambitions. The communist nation says it is a victim of imperialist interference.
