Aztec Lands

Tired of buying old, shoddy Warsaw Pact equipment, but you can't afford NATO's F-16s?
In order to bring in more revenue for the military sector, the Aztec Lands are now offering aircraft for sale!*
The aircraft offered are not cutting-edge. The primary attraction here is price: you can get a bunch of these. Equip a training squadron! Or, if your nation's economy just imploded or you've decided to give up pacifism.
There are currently two types up for sale. Delivery is 10 fighters/real life day**. More types for sale are possible, and will be announced. We are close to getting a recon aircraft ready, as well as a COIN aircraft.
- Aztec Heavy Industries (ALHI) C-2U "Quetzal" (Feather). Rougly equivalent to the MiG-21 or the Northrop F-5. Single-seat light figher. 1x 18,000 lb thrust engine. Mach 2.1 sustained, Mach 2.3 in a shallow dive. Two wingtip hardpoints and four underwing. Two 20mm single-barrel cannon from USA. Radar has been updated to be just better than the F-4 Phantom's, yet needs no copilot to operate. Turning is just off the MiG-21's, it's more of a straightline interceptor. PRICE: $1,100,000 USD
- Aztec Air C-3U "Éhecatl" (Wind). Rougly equivalent to F-4 Phantom. Two-seat multirole fighter. 2x 18,000 lb thrust engines. Mach 2.1 capable. Two wingtip, four underwing, four fuselage hardpoints. Two 20mm single-barrel cannon from USA. Radar is a few slices under the F-16s, but for the price, it's a steal. Needs radar officer in the rear seat. Turning is superior to the F-4 Phantom. PRICE: $1,900,000 USD
Parts are manufactured continually and can be ordered. Ordinance cannot, but all NATO ordinance fits on.
If we get flooded with deals, you may have to wait.
*Yes, my country is small. (18 million). However, we have an industrial complex (automotive industries are our #2 moneymaker). We're like Sweden with Saab, but with less socialism.
**A day in real life is NOT a day in game terms, by any means. Population doesn't jump one million every real-life day.
