What will the virus be used for? Biological warfare, research, other, or undecided? (Just out of curiosity)

its original purpose was was to attack the IG Virus, but an unexpected mutation in a strain ( now call strain X) came along and now it is a Bio-weapons virus

Recent developments within our small out of date lab have caused us to shutdown all research in biological and chemical weapons. We purchased a faulty Centrifuge (apparently ordered from E-Bay) which contaminated all the sample cultures we were working on. As requested our Department of Defense has contracted with us to out source all chemical/biological purchases.

We are not currently in the market for such a deadly Biological weapon, but we would like to ask your lab to undertake a venure for us. We would like to ask if it would be possible for you to develop a Viral Strain that would cause continual dysentry for 12-14 days. We would be interested in both a virus and an antedote (besides Bismuth). We are willing to pay all research and development costs associated with this undertaking. The production of non-lethal "bio" agents should not cause anyone to get stirred. The production of an agent like we described is no more dangerous than your typical pepper spray, tear gas, or any other crowd deterrent. In answer to the why, we have some nations that have made threats against us and we would like a deterrent in our arsenal that in non-lethal, yet scary enough to make an invasion force think twice before doing so (this is why it is imperative we have a vaccine for our military and civilian populations).

Our current government policy does not allow for WMD's or Lethal Chemical weapons to be used, housed, or stored in country, period. The development of such an agent would be a "magic bullet" for us allowing our defense department to stay within the spirit of current legislation from Parliament.
In fact, I don't think these non-lethal deterrents would even cause a flap at the UN because of the non-lethal nature of the agent.

No lets talk volume. We would need at least 100 million doses of vaccine. The concentration levels of the agent would dictate how many gallons of agent we would take. To throw a number out for consideration 10,000-50,000 gallons to start. Once again that would be proportional to the concentration levels of the agent.
