Admiral Longstreet looked over updated intelligence reports. He turned abruptly to Admiral Grant and General Farrugut. “Gentlemen, what we have here is an incredible opportunity. Prepare your units for immediate embarkation. Second fleet will be ordered to lead the way up the red sea. General Farrugut, all units of yours will be embarked on the 5th fleet; we have only 17 Apocalypse class battleships ready to go. We have all other units ready however. This should give you more then enough firepower to take the landing site. Further orders will come as the situation develops. The 4th fleet will be sent to back you up. You are probably sailing into a war zone. Have your forces proceed at DefCon 1. Any questions?” Admiral Longstreet asked. “Just one” Admiral Grant stated. “Are we going to take this all the way?” “We’ll have to wait and see what develops. I’ll brief the Queen and the House leaders as soon as possible.” Admiral Longstreet said. “Gentlemen, lets be about it."

IDF missile batteries and shore radars were powered up. Many missiles were stored by the 1,000s in bunkers with VLS systems much like a ship, except these launched more SSMs, SAMs, and was hidden with more missiles.

IDF Naval forces in the Red sea along with the IAF have gone to Orange alert.

Message to Voderlund, if you or any of your warships or planes get within 250 miles of Sinai or Israel, you will be ordered to turn around and if you don't comply, you will be fired upon after standard warning shots

1. Def Con one for conventional forces means take all measures nessicary to protect yourselves, the gun is locked, cocked, pointed and the saftey is off. The units are even allowed to shoot first against a potential threat.

2. IDF, well we'll see won't we.

With an invasion force entering our Military Exclusion zone we will fire if you continue. I recomend you turn around immediately. With our land based bomber and AF combined with our larger navy, you will not get through.

Aboard the bridge of the CNS Eferis

"Sir,we have recieved word that Voderlund has moved a large fleet to the red sea, near our close ally IDF. We, the Efane, The Eteradi, and the Benelencu, have been ordered to tail them from a safe distance. If we get word that they have attacked IDF we are to launch missiles and torpedo's to take out as many as possible. The mechanize infantry unit that is there because of CM has gone to alert level 4. We should be ready for anything."

"Roger. Conn take us directly East at 20 knots."

Aboard Yorktown carrier USS Timo Perez
"We have the fleet now sir," said Captain James Smith, the OinC of the CIC at this point.

"Get 8 F-35s to do a flyover of them," ordered Admiral WIlliam James, the CinC of the CVBG. He was taking orders from CNO and head Admiral of the fleet Yitzac Joseph.

"Yes sir," answered the airboss.

20 minutes later, 4 birds sat on the cats. the blast shields went up. "This is Jolly Roger 1 on cat, ready," called Captain Yakov Bernstein, the CAG. In about 5 minutes, all 8 birds were airborne and they flew South the 500 miles to the enemy fleet. They were to do flyovers and nothing more. They were armed with Air-Air weapons only for self defense

"Admiral Grant, we have enemy fighters inbound, 8 IDF F-35s. There 350 miles out beyond the 5th fleet, and 380 miles out beyond us." A young comunications Lieutenant reported. "Send a squadron of F-3s out to intercept them and launch the alert 5 craft on all carriers." "As soon as they form up with the IDF craft get me visuals. If the IDF craft shoot then shoot back right away" Admiral Grant ordered very calmly.

[OOC: I think what DA is saying is that what you've described is Defcon 2.]

That is a rough paraphrasing of the ROEs for DefCon one, which is short for Defense Condition 1. If I'm shooting it's not defensive any more is it?
