Nation to upgrade Red Eye System

The government today announced it's intentioned to update and improve the Red Eye System to detech new dangers in the Flame Drake Zoltan. Including the new methods vampires use to masquerade as humans.

The government started the Red Eye program five years ago shortly after our gracious leader Zoltan announced his wishes to the FDZ government that all vampires and other dangerous creatures were to be exterminated to protect the nation. The main requirements of such a program was to allow the FDZ police forces to detect such dangers with a system which is both simple and effective enough to use in common place nationwide.

The solution was became what is now commonly known as the Red Eye System, a simple combination of standard CCTV cameras, thermal imaging for comparison and a simple computer program designed to automatically log inconistancies between the two images and outline the problem to allow forces to quickly know such a creature is lurking among the populace.

The multi-billion dollar system has proven to be incredably effective at discovering vampires at a cheep and effective technology level by noting their lack of body heat which is so commonly found on normal humans.

Once such a creature is detected the brave and well equipped FDZ police forces move in to make the capture so that the creature and be publicly executed on a preset prye.

The current upgrades to the system are designed to pick up on the new methods these creautes are using to hide among the hard working people of Flame Drake Zoltan, however Government official assure us that justice is being done.

"These creatures are becoming more cunning in their masquerade as they are making a point of warming their dead bodies before walking among the streets, in the past this has fooled our simple program into marking them down as human.

"However, with these new improvements we trust that the system will not only be able to detect these vile beings, but may also be programs to detect other creatures who may wish harm to the great society of Flame Drake Zoltan."

So far the system has proven to be very cost affective and has made the FDZ government proud, having to destroyed 384 vampires this year alone across a nation of two billion citizens. Lord Zoltan has displayed pleasure with this figure.

"These loathsome creatures must be eliminated from our society, the dead should remain dead."

We here at the Foolish Pesants Supernatural Control Agency, have recently seen you press release about your “Red Eye System”. It represents an incredible leap forward in the detection and destruction of unwanted supernatural creatures. At current, we are forced to take a reactionary role against all but the most wyrm tainted of these creatures. Our own detection methods involve the use of regular surveillance and the implementation of directional microphones to pick up heartbeats, or the lack thereof. The creatures themselves are forced to limit themselves to our non-Citizen populace thanks to the efforts of our genetics R&D, unfortunately this means that they are much harder to track and destroy without putting in a lot of time consuming ground work. The idea that we can be alerted to their presence through such mundane and widespread technology could put an end to these parasitic monsters in out great nation once and for all. As such, we formally request your assistance in setting up our own “Red Eye System” in our own nation. Price is not a concern when it comes to the protection and wellbeing of our Citizenry.

Perhaps they can adapt, but we use more methods then just the Red-Eye System, it is but one tool in the war against these undead monsters. Our resources are many and resolve is unshakable. We will eliminate this threat to our people once and for all.

As for your questions regarding telivised executions; we feel it is the best manner in which we can show the populace of Flame Drake Zoltan that justice is being done and that these beasts are being slain.
