A new weapon has just come out to production at the Trentaur Central University: the Defensive Osmotic Force Field (DOFF).
The DOFF is the most advanced defencive force field in the world, it is fully impenetrable, can cover anything from a country to a building, but it's all not new. The feature that makes DOFF totally unique among the force fields is it's Osmosis - the property of leting through some things and leaving other things outside. The DOFF can be programmed to let people and civillian vehicles through, and, being completely light- and (if wanted)air- transparent, it wouldn't affect the routine life. In the same time, it can be programmed to NOT let things in. Example: you program the DOFF to let in anything besides guns. well, somebody wants to come in with a gun in his pocket. He doesn't see the DOFF, so he just goes in. HE passes. the gun just tears his pocket and stays on the other side, simultaneously triggering an alarm. That way, your country can be secured from anything, starting from teracts and ending with drug import and radioactive materials trade.

How is it powered? How does it work? Why is it fully impenetrable? How do you support all you scientists? Why is it so cheap? How do you not call this godmoding? Why shouldn't I fire my Ignore Cannons?

I also sell weapons tech, as a nation of much more experience I can tell you two things right now, 1) This technology cannot exist, every one will protest, and also I will point out that my MD bomb goes through any shielding, by disintegrating the whole thing, your energy shields wouldn't even have an effect
2) You will be loosing money left right and centre with that low a price
