Sidewinder City, Aztec Lands

A UFO has been sighted over the capital of the Aztec Lands, Sidewinder City, at midnight on the Gregorian Calendar's equivalent day of September 8th. According to various reports, the object was at a fairly high altitude when it appeared to roll over and perform a half-loop before zooming out of sight behind a mountain. The government has yet to release a statement of any sort.

The object's descriptions vary. The moon was not in the sky, so no silhouettes were obtained. The only light it gave off was from the rear, described as being similar to a jet engine's glow, but of the wrong color and shape, and it was nearly silent. Air Traffic Controllers did not pick up anything.

Since then, the Aztec Lands Air Force has sent up a flight of three C-2 Quetzals (a smaller, third generation interceptor, comprable to the Northrop F-5 "Tiger" or the Mikoyan-Gurevich 21 "Fishbed") to patrol the city, but the object has not returned.

"I was outside trying to hunt wild dogs that were attacking my crops, and suddenly I heard a noise like air rushing." reported farmer Alligator-Wind "It didn't sound or look like anything from this earth. All we could see was a slight glow."

The government is discouraging all investigation of the incident, "to protect the public" reported the Minister of Intelligence. "We don't know what it is, yet, so we don't want people to investigate. We can handle it."

OOC: Oooh, another Aztec based nation.

IC:

Once your nation is done with conducting it's own private investigations into the UFO situation, the ANL government would like to conduct independent or joint investigations of the craft.
