The Nightmare Begins - Kuroi's Purge of the Christians (MODERN/FUTURE) (GRAPHIC)

-Seaside Village Arumaranzu
Headquarters of the Mekantan Church of Christ

It had been almost two years since the Catholic church arrived in Mekanta Zero, and life had been peaceful in the growing village many were starting to call Haven. A near-perfect community had grown on the north coast of Mekanta's continent on Earth, marred only by a slight fear of Administrator Kuroi sending his legions of mechanical warriors to wipe them out.

Erena turned her head away from the fortifications some of the people in the village were constructing to try to defend against Kuroi's minions, looking back toward Bishop DeVours, the Catholic who had sparked Christianity among the various people of Mekanta Zero. She herself wasn't Catholic, having formed the Mekantan Church of Christ that now held majority in Mekanta Zero, but she still looked to him for guidence and advise. "Father..."

Carl DeVours just put a hand on her shoulder, smiling kindly. "You worry too much. God will protect us. Even that monster Kuroi can't defy His power."

"But..." She looked back over at the fortifications being erected, several Feran engineers setting up a watch tower. "What if God won't protect us?"

"Then He has a greater plan..." The elderly man started pushing the female Mekantan toward the church, chuckling to mask his own feelings. "Now, come on now, we've got to get inside. Looks like rain..."

Erena had no idea she and Bishop DeVours were being watched as they walked. Watched as she led prayers. Watched as she ate, slept, and bathed.

Nobody knew except those at the Mekantan Hive across the landmass and the cloaked mechanical monster that hung over the village... waiting for its chance to strike...

But it too had no idea. No idea that Erena had sent out a message to the outside world. No idea that the Ferans had supplied the Christians with weapons to defend themselves. No idea that, when Mekanta made thier move, the Christians weren't planning on rolling over and dying without a fight...

One thing: Any Future Techers attending need to keep it low grade. No WMDs except those Modern Tech grade, ect. ect. Try to keep it fair for the Modern Techers.

Mekanta is Modern and Future Tech. Mostly Future, but there are Modern Tech "Underpact" forces.

The Hive is Mekanta's command center on Earth. It's basically just an arcology with a big-ass tree inside of it.

And the WMD thing is to keep multiple-gigaton torpedoes from being thrown around like in pure Future Tech stuff. In pure Future Tech (the level of the present wars going on in space) VS pure Modern Tech, with no limits on technology, Modern Tech wouldn't stand a chance in hell, simply because of the weapons involved. Therefore, in an RP where Modern and Future are supposed to be able to coexist, certain limits have to be given. Cloaked unit? Fire wildly until you hit it and disrupt the cloak. Not a problem against Mekanta. The "Overpact" or Future stuff won't engage Modern forces. Just the Christians from Mekanta Zero and other (puppet) nations in Mekanta Zero. I'm intending on losing this war (if one ever erupts) and having Terra 001 destroyed, so nobody has to worry about me pulling too much of a tech advantage here.

Working on another part of the IC buildup to the breaking point now.

To the Esteemed and Honorable Mother Erena koth Morum:

Although Haxorville is not the most religious of nations, we feel that we gain a great deal of strength from the coexistence of people with different religions and beliefs. And although many would not consider us a religious organization (considering us to be more political in nature), I won't have to explain to you why we have a vested interest in the toleration of all belief systems. The news of Administrator Kuroi's recent actions have troubled us greatly, and when we heard your announcement, we felt that attending this conference was the right thing to do, and a necessary step to prevent the spread of such intolerance (or even possible atrocities). As such, I wish to attend personally. If you will accept my presence, I will depart as soon as possible.

-The Outskirts of The Village of Haven
Night...

Erin Hornbeck hummed to herself as she strolled through the woods a few kilometers away from the village, a pack containing her bible and a few other things slung over her shoulder. Thoughts of young Jacob Millwatcher filled her mind as she wandered, looking for a clearing where the moon was bright enough to read and pray by.

"Mother, Father, please believe me, every word is true..." she sung softly to herself, not hearing a faint metal-on-metal hiss. "I just glimpsed a beast with two backs through the foggy dew..."

She smiled as she came across her usual clearing, looking around for her boyfriend Jacob.

"Jake...? Are you here yet...? Jacob...?"

"HERE..." A rough voice sounding like metal grinding hissed, followed by a chuckle.

Erin looked around, suddenly very afraid. Her father told her of Mekanta's killing machines, and she so desperately hoped it was just Jacob playing a joke...

But then he fell from the trees. First his arm, deep claw marks burned into it, the flesh at the end ragged from having been forcefully torn from his body. Then more of him. And last fell his head, simply hovering in mid air. "FEMALE CHRISTIAN... KUROI WILL BE PLEASED... VERY PLEASED... YOU WILL NOT RESIST..." Erin was frozen with fear as the air shimmered, a tentacled mechanical monster fading into view as it dropped its cloaking field. "WE HAVE... MUCH INTERROGATION... FOR YOU... COOPERATE... AND MASTER KUROI MAY... LET YOU BECOME ONE OF HIS SLAVE GIRLS..."

She regained control of her body as the machine dropped Jacob's mutilated head and lunged at her, catching only her skirt and pack with its claws made of light and sending shreads of cloth and her bag to the ground before leaping at her...

She struggled as the machine wrapped her in its tentacles, rendering her unable to move as it took to the air, flying back to Kuroi's hive...

The next morning, it was only too obvious what had happened... Mekanta had made its first move...

-Dungeon, Hive Terra 001

Kuroi smirked as camera drones flitted around the cell, focused on the naked Human female chained in the middle of the room and the two Akujin waiting to make her life a living hell.

Calmly, he turned his back on the girl and smiled wickedly as a camera drone was fixed on him.

"People of the World. Welcome to my nightmare. A world where these Christian scum infest my lands unchecked. Where they spread thier lies unhindered. Where they believe themselves to be safe from my retribution."

He just laughed, the girl thrashing about trying to get free. "LET ME GO!! PLEASE!! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!" She yelled, tears streaming down her face. Her cheeks were red with embarassment, and her entire body shivered from the chill of the room and the fear she felt.

Kuroi just chuckled, his blood red eyes focused on the camera. To anyone watching, it would seem as if he was staring into thier soul. "I am Administrator Kuroi of Mekanta... And I'm here to wake up... My nightmare is over, but for the Christian Scum who dare to defile my lands with thier presence, the nightmare is just beginning..." He turned to the two Akujin and barked an order in Mekantan before storming off camera.

"LET ME GO!!" The girl identified as "Erin Hornbeck" screamed, freezing when she noticed the Akujin moving. She shivered silently as she felt a tentacle at the base of her back, the chilling tip moving up toward her neck slowly. She hung frozen by fear, unsure of what was going to happen...

And as soon as the tentacle reached the back of her neck, three others struck, lashing her across her back and stomach. Erin cried out at the sudden pain, her cry growing to a shriek as the tentacles struck faster and harder, leaving lines of crimson as they split her skin.

And just as suddenly as the whipping began, it stopped, leaving Erin panting. Blood trickled down her body, unable to bring herself to move as she recovered from the hellish assault. The tentacles again moved slowly, tracing her wounds before stopping at various parts of her body as they entwined her.

Before she could realize what they were doing, they began to heat and press closer to her body. A harsh scream rose from the girl as the tentacles superheated, slowly dragging across her flesh. She tried thrashing about, but found herself unable to move as the chains binding her tightened.

Erin began crying out prayers, asking her God to kill her and end the pain. As she started praying, the tentacles stopped. "Please..." She rasped, her eyes tightly closed against the agony lingering in her mind. "... Kill me... Please..."

She didn't even notice as the chains released her, letting her slump to the floor as several organic Mekantan males walked into the room, leering at her. Slowly, she opened her eyes and looked up at them, sobbing. At first glance it was obvious what they wanted.

The next hours was spend with the organics ravaging her body, the pain and humiliation of her rape mingling with the continuing irritation caused by the rough treatment of her abusers. When the organics got tired, the Akujin took over, thier tentacles finding new and inventive ways of causing her torment and embarassment, such as giving electric shocks in the process of violating her, or superheating and stabbing her with thier beam claws. Being essentially lifeless, they got no pleasure from what they did, save the sadistic joy of tormenting one thier masters hated so in such humiliating ways. And when the males recovered, the deflowering continued.

By the time the Mekantans were through, a steady stream of blood flowed from her as she was chained back up, her voice ragged from her screams.

"Do you want your pain to end, girl?" One of the males asked, a hand wrapped around one of her breasts. When Erin weakly nodded, the man just laughed. "... Too bad..."

As the torment continued, Kuroi stepped back into view, his sadistic smile broadening into a grin. "Let this serve as a lesson to anyone who wishes to spread this... Christian Church... in Mekanta's lands. You would do well to avoid Mekanta..."

The Hunter Destroyer hovered above water(or is it landlocked?), just off of the coast. A side door opened and the captain jumped out, into the water, with 5 replicator bugs in case, something went horribly wrong, even though they could do very much in such small numbers.

The man, and the bugs, hit the bottom and walked over to the shore. They were clearly out of place, and had no real idea of what to do, or where to go. They just began to walk, towards the direction of where the transmission had came from. They had no reason to try to be sneaky, or feel that they were in danger, they were there to learn. If something did happen, it was no big loss, the bugs could be replaced in well under an hour, if need be. As for the captain, a hybred, there were many many more, back at the home world.

The Hunter Destroyer, then launched back up through the atmosphere, and into the Earth's atmoshpere, cloaking again as they were in orbit. They then speed of to the other side of the sun, in an attempt to not draw too much attention towards themselves.

Christ on Earth!" screamed the Right Reverent and Honorable Archbishop Digsby of the Samtonian branch of the Catholic Church.

Sputtering, so angry he could barely breath, he watched the transmission that was by now everywhere on the Internet. As leader of Samtonia's Catholics, he was in charge of a substantial portion of those keeping the current leaders elected.

He smiled grimly as the scene played over and over again. With God's grace, they would smite these invaders of the Earth.

With God's cherubim and angels, they would vanquish those seeking to extinguish the light of tolerance and freedom.

And with God's Holy Fire, they would cleanses the monsters from the Earth.

He shook his head. "I just can't understand why they're so uppity about this. Worse has happened in the past."

A fist slammed on the table. "They control 59 percent of the voting bloc in my delegation. I for one am listening to them."

One of the female members of the room nodded. "I as well. Not just for the gross violations of human rights, but the fact that 43% in my region also are listening to this madman."

The first speaker looked around the room. one by one, every other councilmember shook their heads. The clout was too great of those in the religious sects, all of them.

He nodded. "Then let it be done."

+++++++++++++++++
As crowds screamed in righteous indignation, s mix of religious leaders from every major religion in Samtonia- Judaisim, Christianity, Buddhism, Muslim
and most minor ones besides.

Forcing their way to a podium, the archbishop of the Catholic Church began to speak.

"My brothers and sisters! All of you! All who worship a god! All who feel someone watches over them!

All of you have by now seen the horrific brutalities of the Mekanten fiends! These devils in human slothes destroy the very foundations humanity was built on!
But no more!

I have in my hand a release from the Samtonian Council of Thirteen, to be addressed to those Mekanten Dogs!

I will let this letter speak for itself, in all its solemn promise and demand, for both us and those ghouls in Mekanta.

'Behold! The pale horse rides! He rides to Mekanta! He rides to save the innocent, protect humanity, and punish the evil! Cower, for your time comes closer with each passing second! Cry havoc and let loose the Dogs of War! Samtonia rises for War!'

So may all Gods have mercy on their souls!"

Nope, not landlocked. Mekanta's territory in Mekanta Zero has coastline at the north and south ends of territory. The Christians are at the north, Mekanta's hive is at the south.

And I knew that little incident would ICly incite some "Goody-Good" nations to want to kick Kuroi's ass. The Terra Hive Cluster is a bitch to attack, but once strikes against the Hive Cluster start, I'll get on as Fera (anti-Mekantan rebel puppet) and provide some IC assistance in the form of guerrila attacks and scouting information on the Hives.

Speaking of which, there are seven of them. Six smaller hives surrounding Terra 001. The smaller ones are a perfect half-sphere dome about a kilometer high, and Terra 001 is about five times the size of the smaller ones. All of them are quite tough, able to withstand repeated strikes from modern-grade nuclear weapons. It's important to keep in mind they're future tech, but I'll have some of thier better defenses disabled if just Modern Techers try to blow up the Hive Cluster. Thier point defence systems will remain, for the most part, intact.

Anyway, enough OOC bull. On to the IC.

-Seaside Village Haven

The entire village was overcome by fear and mourning for the two killed by Mekanta in thier first attack, Erena most affected. She knew what Mekanta likely did, and when the transmission was recieved by the village it only confirmed her fears.

She sat quietly in her room at the church, staring at the dull grey walls. Erin and Jacob had been two of the best Human students of religion, likely to become good preachers. But now... Mekanta had taken those two young lives away from the world. Jacob at least had the relief of dying reletively quickly, but Erin...

Even if Mekanta let her continue to live, she was likely dead on the inside, believing God had forsaken her. She could only hope Kuroi had gotten bored tormenting the poor girl and let her die...

Almost in a trance, Erena got up from her seat at her bed and opened a drawer, pulling out a simple box. Shakily, she opened it and retrieved the beautiful Valorium chain and cross set with sapphires. It was to be a gift, to honor the anniversary of Erin's birth. Next week, to the day, Erin was to have entered her eighteenth year of life and begin training to be a priestess...

So occupied with thoughts of the poor girl she had known so long, Erena didn't even notice as Elryx, her second in command in a way, quietly entered her room. "Erena..." He noticed the necklace, his eyes dropping. "{Appology, to have. Unknowing, to be.}"

Erena looked back, trying to appear strong but her eyes betraying her sadness. "{To understand.}" She replied simply in Low Mekantan, shaking her head. "... I don't see how Kuroi can think the Humans to be inferior... They live so shortly, but..." She stared back down at the cross, the blood red metal glinting. "... They're still living, thinking, people... You understand, don't you Elryx? You've sinned but you still care..."

The Mekantan male just closed his eyes, clearing his throat. "The watch towers report something heading toward us along the coastline..."

Erena just shook her head, looking back. "We'll wait for it to come to the walls of the village. I'll meet with it myself..."

Gryphon was quick to make arrangements after sending his first message, so he was prepared when he recieved a reply.

After firing off a quick thank you and giving his ETA (approximately 8 hrs. in transit), he left immediately, planning to travel through the night.

...

So, at the present time, he is approaching the coast just about to arrive at his destination (OOC: Was it Arumaranzu or Haven that people were invited to?). He is arriving in a helicopter, which is small, beautifully engineered and streamlined, extremely clean looking, and surprisingly quiet. Accompanying him are just two other people, a pilot and his personal bodygaurd.

The pilot begins his descent as he approaches the coast and looks for a place to land. His radio is on, scanning for incomming transmissions.

The clicking of heels echoed down the long halls. Around the group walking, various military aides hurried to ad from in the well-lit underground corridors, saluting as they walked past.

Samtonia's highest ranking military leaders, the "Dream Team" as they were affectionately called, walked forwards to the meeting room.

Commander General Alexander Dugan of the Marines strode fully ahead, his uniform immaculate, dress blues crisply laundered, sword at side.

Marshall Fiodor Smith, head of the airforce, was dressed in his customary white suit, striding forwards with poise normally only national leaders possessed.

General Alphus Sanders walked a bit behind, listening to the talk. The aging general and commander of the army was dressed in his normal uniform, which was ddevoid of any rank insignia but the five stars clustered over the oak leaf on his breast.

Admiral Saul Narmov, head of the navy paced nervously next to Sanders, his perfectly fitting uniform somehow looking rumpled on his frame.

And finally, Fabricator General Marcus Fonce, head of Samtonia's strategic defense and attack forces. He was busily engrossed in one of the LCD screens descending from his headgear, but still listening to the discussions around him.

All these men, the best in Samtonia, had gathered to discuss one thing-
The destruction of Mekanta.

GLOBAL TRANSMISSION

Subj: Meeting of Religions at Mekanta Zero

This is an open invitation for the religious leaders of the world to meet and discuss religious unity. We ask anyone wishing to co-exist peacefully attend. Thank you.

Jedi Master Armas Elendil of the High Council recieved the note, and scratched his elven beard. He pressed a series of buttons on his desk-com "Master Fimont, please bring Padawan Betancourt to the Council Chambers, please. I need you both."

Soon, a 40-something Jedi Master with a 15-year-old apprentice named Shawn walked into the chambers and bowed. John Fimont had blond hair thats whitening with age and blue eyes. His apprentice has an unruly mop of brown hair with the customary braid and silk-brown eyes. They are the common Master-Padawan team that achieves great things in negotiations, both diplomatic and aggressive.

"We have recieved a note from a nation on Earth called Mekanta, who's outwardly hosting a conference of religions. However, news from Earth has troubled me recently. It seems that the Administrator named Kuro is engaging in unpleasant activites, like persecuting innocent religions. You two are to infiltrate the nation and report back on the situation. You may defend the innocent as needed, but don't use your lightsabers unless necessary. We find that it causes a scene among less technologically advanced nations. Star Wars Fanboys and all that."

"Will there be anything else, Master?" Master Fimont asked.

"Just that you'll need to be careful not to expose yourselves, and if a conflict appears on the horizon, try to hurt any of this Karo's activities as much as possible."

Padawan Betacourt smiled a bit, but a stern glance from his Master washed that smile away. "We'll be heading out as soon as possible. May the Force be with you, Master."

"And with you." The Master and Padawan bowed and left the room. They packed a few tunics and pants, and then headed for the next transport for Coreworlds territory on Earth. Soon, they will change to ordinary clothes and alter egos for the trip to Mekanta. Master will have a trench coat and business clothes. Shawn will wear a blue long-sleeve shirt open, with a Star Wars fan T-shirt underneath, plus blue jeans and sneakers. They will pass as a father and son on vacation once they get to Core territory and take a flight to the nation.

"So what do you think of it all, Shawn?" John asked as they boarded the 767.

"I don't think it's good, obviously. We'll have to help them as best we could."

"Indeed. But we do need to be careful not to draw attention to ourselves, even if we use the Force. There's no telling whether there are psychic detectors in the nation."

Shawn raised an eyebrow. "You think there might be something like that there?"

"No, but it doesn't hurt to keep a low profile anyway."

"Yeah." Shawn took out his headphones, and once the flight reached past 10,000 feet, he put it on, and listened to some smooth jazz, while his 'dad' read the paper.

A small sheet of paper edged its way out of a printer in the Chairman’s office of Mikosolf.

She read it carefully before pressing down upon an intercom, “I want to see this transmission.”

A small view screen rose from the mahogany desk, black at first, but quickly flickering to life. Displaying the horrors of the video for the Chairman.

Slightly pale she once again presses upon the intercom, “Send this to High Judicature Zakrufs, tell him we found him something to do.”

Mikial Zakrufs was sitting in his Spartan office when the printer sprung to life. Hastily ripping it out of the machine. As he read it a small smile danced across his world worn face. Nodding slightly he strides out into a room lit only by the glow of hundreds of monitors. Fingering a small headset he calls across the room.

“Raise the ready status to twenty four hours, I think we got something today.”

A crisp “yes sir” reverberated as many fingers danced across keyboards as the large vision screen on the far wall shifted from its common orange to a vibrant yellow.

"Excuse me, Pastor?" Remarks one of the uniformed men, a Seargent Herbert....

"Yes Seargent?" responds PAstor Griffith...

"I'm detecting some faint and unusual energy signature in this region, it's definitely not anything I've ever seen before..." SGT Herbert says, while messing with a small "scanner" like device in his hand...

"Where is it coming from, Mr. Herbert?" says the Pastor....

"I don't know, sir.... everywhere..." remarks SGT Herbert, with a nervous look on his face.... Then he reaches into a pouch, and pulls out a communications device.... "Seargent Herbert to Chronos...."

On the Bridge of the TRSS Chronos, Lt. Yates, the comm officer, receives the SGT's signal.... Then turns to the CO.... "Commodore," says lt. Yates.... "Seargent Herbert is on the channel.... he's reporting some sort odd energy signature on the planet..."

Upon hearing this Commodore Bradley quickly turns to his Ops officer, LCDR Haro..... "Lieutenant Commander Haro, report? Anything?" he asks the Ops officer.

"No sir, I'm not picking up anything from up here.... seems normal, besides the few other Spacefaringg visitors, I'm picking up nothing out of the ordinary...." he says to the Commodore....

"Mr. Yates, patch the Seargent through..." COM. Brandley orders the Com officer.

"Aye sir..." responds Lt. Yates, then presses some buttons at his console... "Patched sir...."

"Seargent, report...." commands the Commodore....

"Yes, sir... I've picked up some odd signatures, soon after we landed.... the city is quiet... too quiet...." the Seargent says (then there is suddenly some mumbling in the background...." SIR! Bishop Davis is missing!"

"Missing? I thought I told you to stay with those men, Seargent" the Commodore says in outrage....

"Sir, he was just here.... We've all been right here...." Suddently there is a scream, and some weapons fire.... a clunk can be heard, and some more screaming in the background.... and some muffled voices... then silence... dead silence....

"Seargent?" asks the Commodore..... but nothing... then he turns to Lt. Yates... "Is the channel still open?"

"Aye sir, it is..." Lt. Yates says, looking at his console....

"Seargent?!" Commodore Bradley says, in a lound shouting voice....

There is a crunching sound, and then static.... then it is gone....

"Sir, lost the communicator signal...." says Lt. Yates...

"Damnit!" says the Commodore.... then turning to his Ships Marine's Commandant.... "Major General Wainwright..... I was some men down there, find out what happened..."

"Yes, Captain...." says the Commandant.....

Within Minutes, a Aurora class Assault Shuttle, leaves the Chronos' Port Shuttle-bay... and enters the atmosphere, heading for the city....

The plane landed at the Mekanta capital's international airport and the Jedi disembarked and gathered their luggage. Master Fimont then rented a car, and the two drove to a Mariott hotel and booked a room.

"What next, 'Dad'?"

"Well, let's see. The meeting of religions shouldn't be too far ahead now."

OOC: You can RP what my Jedi will see when they get close to the meeting place.

{"so do you think that we're going to go to war"} Rai asked
{"with the machines.....i dont know if we did we would need the Mobile suits and theres less then 50 of them and it would most likely take 10x that number just even the playing field with the machines. No the Christains smuggled us in we're only to collect Tactical data and alike besides if the machines capture us they would let us go"} Ravan replyed
{"why do you say that? its not like they would care you saw the snuff movie of theres that they showed. its also the 2nd most popular one on the internet in Japanese States next to the Gray deather"} Rai chukled brusing her hair out of her face.

2 to young ladies walked round the Christian camp towards 5 steel coffins each haveing a biological warning sign on them. the locals where scared of them infact each time they went near the coffens rocked slightly and a low growl was heared.

{"what use are thos angest machines?"} Rai asked {"they can only infect humans, i know there stong and all but still.}
{"we let them lose on the humanoid population see what happens, if it works the machines will have something to worrie about other then the christians"} Ravan sead, she went to the glass on the front of Coffin and wiped it. Inside was a human...or what was left, the skin around the left side of the face was gone showing the mussle and the law looked as if it was dislocated, the eyes where a gray colour just liked what was left of the skin. the creture snaped at her from inside the casket growling, then it stoped and looked at her as if thinking how it was going to eat her.
{"i dont like them...my father during the war was turned into that, they move so fast and jump real high....he killed my mother and younger sister. i was lucky i got away but my sister...well i had to put a bullet in her head and my mother well all that was left of her was her head and a few internal organs"} Rai sead, a tear forming in her left eye {"tho that didnt stop her from trying to take a chunk out of me"}

Neo Tokyo, Japanese States capital
{"Sir, are you shore such actions would make us as bad as them"} a captain asked
{its the only way, when there relised we can offer the Machines the only cure but under the condtion they leave the Christains alown, tho they might not care and thank us so its a win win situation.} Akira replyed
{"but it will be near Genocide"} the captain replyed, she wasnt happy about the plan {"2 of my best angents are there what happens if they get killed"}
{"they wont, the Gray deathers will take ahold i hope, and if the machines capture our people we wont give them the cure until our people were relised"} Akira sead looking up {"NERV was crated to control the Gray deathers and to make shore an out brake happened again, but that was then this is now, and now we're to show the world the power of Gray death and since the GDs at Mekanta are the 2nd gen strand it will be an interesting test. Do you truely think we care about the Cristains? where do you think we're going to let it lose"}
{"you mean...you mean the camp my people are in is the testing ground"} the Captain looked angery {"but my people"}
{"will be informed in a hours time"} Akira replyed looking down at the labs below {"funny the one thing we fear is the one thing that makes us dangerus....machines can never replace humans for 1 reason, we evolve and nothing will stop that"}

below in the labs were more of the monsters being cut open and studied, and other labs doing research into other things.

OOC:
{} means there speaking in japanese, Gray Deathers are the by product of the Gray death virus whats a bit like the T virus but well...its more nasty since the only way to stop the infection is with ambrosia the cure, or to kill your self by blowing off you head. the Gray deathers are vary fast, strong and eat anything liveing or dead, it takes around 1-2 weeks for you to turn in the mean time your skin will start showing gray patches, eyes turn gray bits of skin fall of...all in all its vary nasty (you could jump off a cliff and get impaled on a pike and still turn if you heads in one peace, tho the GD will stave to death if it dont get any food, tho it would most likely try and eat its self to get free) Gray deathers are know to even eat other gray deathers if its weaker then itself.

The Aurora Assault Shuttle enters the city, and overflies the LZ....

Marine Captain, Monroe Sigmund overlooks the Mule class transport on the surface, then in opens coms.... "Chronos, this is Marine-One, Mule has been sighted, no visible activity... we're going to attempt incursion....." the Captain Sigmund says.

"Roger that Marine-One... You are a-go, for incursion, Chronos out." says a voice on the com.

The Aurora sets down, imediately Captain Sigmund dis-embarks, with First Lieutenant Sydney Lombart, Seargent Price Regan, and Privates Peter Fritz, Don Davis, Larry Saunders, and Dick Mannings.... they are all wearing personnel shields, and carrying Mark VI Phase-Rifles....

"Fan out!" Commands Captain Sigmund.... "L-T, with me...."

The Captain and LT approach the quiet Mule... as they approach the doors, they notice a com unit, crushed on the ground, some phase scorching on the Mule, and drag marks along the ground...

"Sir," says 1LT Lombart... "It looks like there was a fight, or a struggle...."

They enter the craft, inside they find all normal.... no sign of the missing leaders, nor their marine escorts...

"Ration packs are all still here, as are all the spare weapons... Whatever happened, they were taken quick...." remarks the 1LT

There is shouting outside....

Immediaitely running out, Seargent Regan yells for the Captain.... "Sir... over here!"

The 1LT and Captain approach the seargent.... He is pointed towards a spot underneath the corner of the transport..... laying on the ground is a single index finger.....

"Seargent, bag it....." commands the Captain....

"Yes, sir..." Seargent Regan responds, then pulls out a small back sealable bag, and places the finger inside... then carries the finger to the Aurora...

--- Later

"Ok men," Captain Sigmund commands..." I want standard search parties... We need to find th.... well, at least, the bodies of the men, it seems less likely they are alive. L-T, you take private Saunders, and search east of here, Sarge, you take Private Mannings, and search to the west, Private Davis and Fritz, you're with me, we'll be searching north of here.... ok men.... move out!"

The three teams spread out in their respective directions.... keeping their eyes open....
