A Transport, a transport, my Empire for a transport.

During a recent defence review the Celtic Clan Empire of the O'Faolains realised that we owned no Military Transports and that until now we had been using empty Bombers and Ships to get everything everywhere, this will not do anymore.

We require any Aeroplane Transports equal or equivalent to the Hercules Transport and any Helicopter Transports able to carry upto 200 men, (40,000 lbs)

Thankyou

Thankyou, we would like to buy 10 of your standard

for 460 Million

May we also ask how much for the production rights?

And for any other distributers, we still need more transports.

As a sign of good will we will grant you all our ten C-5 transports at a reasonable price. Does 200 million sound reasonable? We can negotiate.

200 million for all ten?

175 million for ten and we have a deal, we're a bit cash struck after being forced to swiftly build more Iron Bears Heavy Bombers.

Perhaps we can interest you into buying some of our equipment, we currently have Goth Frigates and MkVI Wolf Tanks for sale.

I bought them for $25 million (I think)
so that would be a quarter of a million, instead i'm offering them at $190
that is reasonable no?
The O Faolains

Yeah that's a deal, *spits on palm for the deal to be struck*

190 Million for 10 Transports.

The "Samson" Gyroplane is intended to provide heavy-lift capability for companies and nations that require airborne transport to and from locations that may not be able to support a standard runway. These transport aircraft have proven themselves especially adept in arctic and mountainous environments where regular runway landings can be impossible. The "Samson" is capable of both Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) and Short Take-off Or Landing (STOL), depending on the cargo.

Roycelandia, whilst using the Modern C-130J, also has large numbers of DC-3 and DC-4 cargo planes which we use in places like Africa and South-East Asia. We'd be happy to sell you some... say, $2 million each?

As in the Dakotas used in WWII?

If there in good condition, hell we'll have 20 for $40 Million.

The airship has been overlooked in modern times, ever since the Hindenburg tragedy. We at DCA have blithly ignored this trend, and have proceeded anyway. It seems to have worked, we have currently sold 1067 zeppelins! Since the cheapest one we sell is $20 million and the most expencive is $300 million... we made a tidy profit. Don't be the last to get on board.

Ar-1 Air Freighter

Length: 250m
Diameter: 60m
Propulsion: (3+5) 2500 hp hybrid gas/electric engines
Max Speed: 100kph
Range: 10 000km
Ceiling: 2500m
Payload: 150 tons
Lifting Gas: Helium
Price: $20 million

An idea who's time has come, the Ar-1 Air Freighter is an astounding vehicle, and absolutely vital for any major logistical operation. A semiridgid airship that can operate practiaclly indefinately, the Ar-1 is the ultimate transport vehicle. Two or three times as fast as most ships, not requiring an airfield like aircraft, and able to go crosscountry above forests, swamps, and lakes, the Ar-1 can resuply an army ANYWHERE. It is remarkably resistant to damage too.. the gasbags are partitioned into 20 sections, and should one be perforated, it would take hours to deflate, and the loss of boyancy can be balanced by the discharge of water balast.

Civilian applications are even more interesting than the ability to feed 25000 soldiers for 14 days with a single trip. Turbine casing transport is made easy with a Ar-1... broken tractor-trailors can simply be lifted off the road with a minimum of fuss. And all using less fuel than a 747 uses when taxiing, thanks to the boyancy and the noise reducing electric motors.

Order is confirmed. The gyroplanes will be delivered by the trainer pilots, and we'll even include their services in the cost because you're such a good customer.

The O Faolain Government is incredibly curious as to the fuel used in the gas bags, if helium is used, then we would gladly buy 5 of your $20 million Zeps and we would like to have a look at your $300 Million Zep, purely to see a $300 Million Zepplin.

They're new manufacture from Imperial Aerospace- they have a pressurised cabin, modern materials, turboprop engines, etc etc.

They're on their way to you now...

The lifting gas is, of course, helium, while the fuel is standard aviation. The 10% increase in lifting power of hydrogen isn't enough to risk the chance of fires.

And your order is confirmed.

The $300 million dollar zeppelin is the following Zeppelin

Ar-3 Command Zeppelin

The Ar-3 Command Zeppelin takes the successful (over 500 sales total worldwide) Ar-1 zeppelin chassis and applies a few modifications.

The crew godola has been integrated into the envelope, and stretches the entire length of the zeppelin, with 3 (cramped) floors. The zeppelin includes an enormous communications section which takes up almost half a floor, where banks of computers and 10 staff co-ordinate operations, relay orders, and make sure the net stays up. The Zeppelin also contains a naval Command Datalique system, which allows it to share information instantly with any units withing a 5km radius, two satalite uplink, and countless standard radio systems.

The CIC, also dominated by massive banks of computers, is used for co-ordinating operations, compiling intellegence, and generally going about the business at hand-winning the battle.

The accomidations are sparten but comfortable enough, with junior officers sharing a room and senior officers having a room of their own. The ranking officer gets his own spacious cabin, with an office and staff room adjoining. Everyone, however, has to use the comunal heads, and the galley is small, but well stocked. The officers dine in the wardroom, while the CO eats in his cabin, unless invited by the officers to join them (a commen occurence)

The bridge is reserved for the crew of the zeppelin, all 5-10 of them. Captain, executive officer, EW officer, Pilot, and engineering crew are all that are required.

Even with all this, there is still room for about 10 tons of cargo, usually UAVs and launchers, which can easily be controlled from CIC and a large tarpaulin which can be spread over the zeppelin to camoflauge it.

Length: 250m
Diameter: 60m
Propulsion: 8 2500 hp hybrid gas/electric engines
Max Speed: 100kph
Range: 10 000km
Ceiling: 2500m
Payload: 10 tons
Lifting Gas: Helium
Price: $300 million

Other models include an engineering zeppelin, a EW/AWACS zeppelin, Firefighting zeppelin, Naval Patrol Zeppelins, Airmobile Field Hospital zeppelins, Counter Insurgency Zeppelin, Air Superiority Zeppelin, and ABM Laser Zeppelin. All are near modern tech, and would be possible to build if anyone wished to today.
