With our first contact sucesful, Harmonia Mortus has decided to expand its fleet, we have begun construction on a further five ships (All of them smaller than Mort, but still of wooden construction and magically powered.

We are also in the market for any more modern ships (Reasonably priced), or actual spaceships, which would be nice.

IN exchange we can offer energy crystals, magical assitance in some way, or Imp labour.

A few tips:
1. Read the stickies, they are excellent information for rp's.

2. use the nseconomy engine to keep track of your nation. the format is http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/?nation=nationname

3. Join in small open rpg's... nothing big. You could stage an invasion or rebellion of your land.

4. Be polite, alot of people end up being mean or snotty. Politeness adds to an enjoyable atmosphere.

5. If you have an issue ask a Mod or a Senior player.

Should I assume that the first contact thread is done? Anyhoo...I can't sell you translation tech because no-one in Weyr is insane enough to try.

Planethawk Mk8 freighter

The Planethawk is a downgraded version of the Starhawk planetary lighter, combining a large and versatile cargo capacity with heavy armament in one package.

The freighter's hull is located at the rear. The superstructure, housing the crew quarters, sensor arrays, and communications equipment, is placed above the engines, fusactors, and firien cell arrays. Between the superstructure and the hull is the cargo boom, which contains latches for containers. The cargo boom is 500 meters long, and can accomodate containers of virtually any size.

As with all Weyrean freighters, this design is not capable of standard atmospheric travel. However, two berths can each accomodate craft up to thirty meters in length.

Black turned to white, white turned to black, and the universe halted for a moment that took an eternity.

The three-kilometer-long superlighter translated on the outskirts of the system, and hurled into the planet tagged by previous crews, but not before depositing a navigational/translation beacon. Once in high orbit around the target planet, it dumped the seven lighters, originally used to haul ore in the paradigm system, then slingshot around the planet and headed back into space.

The freighters continued on their orbits. Whomever would come aboard would be greeted by the ship AI, which would try to contact any approaching vessel, as well as fully-operating systems.
