Public IC: Czar Curtis Fabus addressed the nation via the White People's Radio and Television Network, those listening via radio had no idea why he was resigning, those watching via TV had a few ideas... He was sitting in his chair in the government propaganda broadcasting building on his Stalingrad estate... He sat up firmly in the chair and started to speak, while he kept his right hand firmly over his trembling left hand that lay limp on the desk,

"My fellow Mississippians, I regret to inform you that I no longer find myself medically fit to lead this nation. I will be resigning as head of state and head of government and my son Roger Fabus will be coronated as Czar and will become the official head of state and head of government."

He moved his right hand into the air to make one of the gesticulations he so loved to make, motioning as though pointing into the future,

"Roger will lead our nation into another great era of prosperity!"

while his right hand was in the air, his left hand started to shake and tremble, before he pushed it off the desk with his right hand. He then went back to speaking,

"Mississippians, God has told me that you are to obey Roger as you have obeyed me. Thank you, good night, and God bless."

Curtis Fabus was seeing a doctor, his personal doctor that worked for him whenever Schacht wasn't around. He asked him solemnly, "Doctor, how long will I have?"

The doctor looked at him, sighed and then said, "Well Parkinsons varies with each person, with treatment we could probably get you to live to be ninety, but what quality of life would you have... That is the question... I'd say you could easily live to thirty more years with intensive treatment... Our experiments on live subjects have given us great amounts of advancements, so there is no reason to despair. I have an optimistic outlook on this, and you should too... Ooc: Obviously you didn't read the thread about him being presumed dead, he was found alive, just barely, by special forces, and evacuated by helicopter to a hospital where they managed to save him and he is expected to make a complete recovery.

Seryown and I are currently working on the RP where Roger is in the hospital and recovers. This announcement of Curtis Fabus resigning is taking place about 3-5 days after Roger is moved out of the hospital in Western Sahara to his home in Mississippi where he will spend a few weeks to months in his house before being fully recovered.

He is going to start another arms race and will be building lots of new weaponry. Since recent CM economic recovery began when we refused to finish paying the old Mississippian Libyan debts that were never paid, and the Angolan debts were defaulted on, along with the recovery in Schacht's companies following the exposure of the conspiracy against him. Our economy is not only well on the road to recovery, we expect within 2-5 NS years to be better than where we were (Ooc- I hope to get to all-consuming soon)

Ooc: We will add one seat to the Security Council and allow Seryown to be placed back on it. This will create the problem of 6 people = a tie vote is possible. In the event of a tie vote, we will ask 1 randomly selected non-council member, (The largest in population that happens to be on at the time) to cast a vote.

OOC/Secret IC: LMFAO!!!! Thanks for the laugh. Again another goddmod. and BTW, the NS economic rating doesn't mean much in the forums because what happenes in the forums doesn't affect it.

We are to say the least perturbed by this development; as undesirable as Curtis Fabus may be, Roger Fabus is to my mind even worse. Nonetheless, we do hope that your "New World Order" does not include further invasions of people, and I am, as one man to another, sorry to hear of Curtis' illness. While I do not bear him much good will as a politician or as an opponent, as a man I am saddened to hear that he is in pain, and wish him a recovery that is, if not speedy, certainly reasonably complete.

AIA Headquaters

Agent Fernando Garza entered one of the AIA's top secret meeting rooms. No windows, no ammenities, telephones, security cameras or decorations. Just a wooden table, several charis and a pitcher of water. Inside were only three people, the War Minister and Vice-Premier.

AIA Director Agent Garza spoke up first "I believe you will agree with me in saying, the crowning of Roger Fabus to the throne of Mississippi is quite disturbing and possibly dangerous."

The other two men agreed. Vice-Premier Coyotepec said "Yes, we certainly have to be more cautious now. The Soviet Aztec Government has been top on Roger Fabus's list before, we are still probably there. Our land also is fertile and has plenty of oil, our resources will seem like a lucrative prize."

The War Minister stood up and said "Sirs, I am happy to report to you, though, that our military has gone through massive re-fits and overhauls. We are more then capable of defending ourselves if need be. While we still don't have WMDs, our conventional military weapons are enough to stop an invasion, weither it be covert like the last time or it be an all out war, and possibly start an counter-invasion."

Vice-Premier Coyotepec looked at the War Minister and sat at the chair "Alright, to keep attention away from ourselves, we will not make any stances against Communist Mississippi, such as not joining NATO or not taking other actions against them. However, I want the Navy to be at Yellow Alert...any warships, personel or planes that enter our waters, airspace or land that enters without the ANL government's permission must be stopped immediatly through peaceful manners. I also want our Northern and Southern borders beefed up considerably. All aircrafts should be ready for airstrikes or naval engagements at any moment."

Coyotepec then turned to Agent Garza, "I want the ISPA to be more vigilant about possible Mississippian meddling in our nation. Close down any organizations that might be reciving funding or support from them. Also, use legal, non-covert methods of observing the Mississippian Empire."

He then stood up and said "Whatever happens, we do not throw the first punch."

USSNA, that was an odd post. If people roleplay there nations in the forum, then there NS stats will end up being there Forum stats. I think that CM does a good job of that, and so do a lot of other people. Try to think before you right.
