The training had been going for months, there had been 90,000 women in Mississippian Egypt (All white of course, as federal law allows that only whites can be in the federal armed forces, of which the RG is part of) that applied for positions in the forming 31st Republican Guard Armored Divisions, "The Warrior Women". Drawn from female members of the WKM Mississippian Egyptian realm women’s auxiliary corps.

The reason was that the high command decided forming an all-woman division might be an interesting experiment... Well in any case, there were now only 32,000 of the original 90,000 left. Most of those that were out either were washed out of training, severely injured, and a few hundred even died. (The last 3 days of the 11 month RG training program consist of a 100 mile forced march through the desert.

Note most of the men in the RG started training with weapons, tactics, and physical prowess around age 11-17. But actual RG training at RG training camps starts around 16-18, or whenever you've signed the contract and your joining is certain)

They were now on the last 3 days of their training... The forced march through 100 miles of Mississippian Egyptian desert. They would each be given the standard pack that men had to carry which weighed 80 lbs, they would get 3 days of rations (1 day more than men get for the march) and 3 liters of water (1 liter more than men get for the march)... Not that any of the extra food or water mattered, it was going to be a brutal march... And just as when the men trained, the women would be subjected to the taunts, pranks, and beatings of the officers and NCOs who would ride by in hummers to harass them as they made the march.... The march through hell.

Ooc- Just so you all realize, most all of the officers in the division are males... This is sort of like how the British used to raise native divisions in their colonies but all the officers were British. Or perhaps how the North raised divisions of blacks during the civil war, but all the officers were white... Well in this division, most all of the officers are males.

Republican Guard Armored Division (Each 18,000 Republican Guard Panzer Grenadiers, 500 T-98 Tanks, 2,250 BMP-3s, 300 G-6 155mm SPA, 200 SA-19 Mobile SAM, and assorted reconnaissance vehicles)

So 18,000 of the soldiers in this new division are males (The Panzer Grenadiers are all men)

1,500 T-98 crew are females.
6,750 BMP crew are females.
1,800 G-6 crew are females.
600 SA-19 crew are females.
1,000 assorted vehicle crew are females.
All support personnel are females.

Ic: "No, we just wanted to try and see if women were capable of performing well in combat... This is largely the idea of Field Marshal Bertrand Navarre, General Roger Fabus, Field Marshal Wilhelm Ernst, and a few other top commanders. Good ole Rush. That would be an IC opinion.

A division comprised mostly of women? Interesting, in our nation we women have yet to climb into a tank and fight it out with other armoured vehicles. The only place for a woman to see combat is flying fighter planes or serving on a submarine. We have a quiet a large amount of women leading squadrons in our Air Force and one female Rear-Admiral.

Ooc: They're going to need all the luck they can get... They're going to be sent into Western Sahara to fight a brutal counter-insurgency campaign against muslim fanatics that have killed over 30,000 of some of the best Commonwealth and Federal soldiers, and wounded over 50,000. These rebels have managed to endure their stronghold (Bir Gandus) being razed to the ground by B-52s... The women have only their training, no combat experience, most of the units already in WS are very battle-hardened... But then again, there are no RG units in WS, and the RG are specially trained to fight against guerilla forces.

But then again, the infantry element of this RG division are originally from conventional regular army mechanized units that were trained for a few months and then labeled "RG", the women have gone through total RG training. But then again, most of the men in the mechanized units are experienced veterans, just not in counter-insurgency warfare, and they haven't really been trained to fight in such a manner.

Again, the 31st is going to need luck, Federal Army High Command in Jackson City expects the division to suffer 80% casulties within six months.

Ooc: You must remember, they have minor genetic modifications and then there is the fact the men in RG training have been in youth RG training for several years and are conditioned to these sort of things, well somewhat conditioned. And I said, only a few hundred have died thus far... Of the 30,000+ women entering the desert, about 20,000 will make it out alive and unharmed. If you fall out of line and the officers or NCOs see you, they'll get you out in a jeep or hummer, if not, oh well...

Secret IC: In the middle of the desert, about 98 miles south of Marsa Matruh in Mississippian Egypt... The RG trainees were entering the final stages, the march had just begun. One of the NCOs was cracking a whip in the air as he rode by on his jeep, "Move faster! Move, swine, move!" It was going to be a long march, long indeed. The scorching heat of the day would give way to the freezing cold of the night, cold enough to freeze the body to the core, and the trainees were only issued standard RG BDU uniforms, not summer uniforms and not winter uniforms. They'd never be totally comfortable as it was too hot in the day and too cold in the the night. And the NCOs appeared to be particularly sadistic.


Ooc: As is standard for all RG trainees, those who reach the end or the march, must pass through two lines of officers and NCOs, the officers and NCOs swing at the trainees with clubs, you must walk and cannot dodge the blows. This is how all men have been "welcomed" into the RG and probably the women will have to do that as well.

Black guerillas are worth nothing. They're all poorly trained, poorly armed weaklings that any soldier can overcome.

On the other hand, regular national armored units are much more intimidating, considering that the MM that participated in the action had neither air nor artillery support.

Ooc: Well one Republican Guard Armored Division managed to smash the entire advanced guard of the Libyan army when CM invaded Libya and made it a colony many NS years ago. (The advanced guard was about 5 divisions)

The armies of 3rd world states = cheesecake.

Look at Iraq II. A few divisions of U.S Army/Marines overran that whole nation in a matter of days.

The women that complete training and form the 31st division are to immediately go up against the 1st Republican Guard Armored Division "Judgement Day" in war games training maneuvers to test if the 31st shows promise.

A few dozen soldiers of the 1st RG division were standing around near Marsa Matruh, where the war games would be in about 4-5 days. One of the soldiers chuckled, "Fighting women? Dang we don't need guns for that!" one of the other soldiers took out a pack of condoms and laughed, "I got all I need right here!"
They all started laughing and then went back to drinking their beers.

Some of the women were already starting to fall behind in the march after just ten miles... The officers and NCOs started their taunts as they drove by in jeeps. One of the officers fired an AKM rifle in front of a group of women and shouted, "Quicker! Quicker! You think the enemy will wait for a battle in real combat? What if your BMPs are damaged and you must march! Well march!"

They pressed onwards, not sure what awaited them ahead, but they knew these officers and NCOs were particularly sadisitic and whatever pranks they had planned for the them, would not be pleasant.

About five miles ahead in the desert, fourty NCOs were digging a massive pit in the ground and then they were proceeding to cover it to conceal it. They were going to catch some trainees in the pit and consider washing them out, literally, if they couldn't climb out.

Approximately two hundred of the trainees had fallen into the series of massive pits the NCOs had dug for them as a cruel prank. Even worse, the NCOs only agreed to help them out after they agreed to give them sexual favors... Once that was all done, the NCOs gave each woman a kick in the butt (as they would to any man who fell behind) and shouted, "Move along you worthless maggots!" (as they would shout at any man)


The women that were fished out of the pits were grumbling and cursing, having to suck those wretched NCOs was awful, they were truly sadistic... But then again, training for the RG had to be tough. And it was quite likely worse would happen to them if ever they were captured, especially in Africa or the Middle East...

The women were settling down for the night, approximately 500 had died thus far from the desert elements. Over 5,000 had fallen out and been declared washed out by the NCOs or officers before being taken back to the city in trucks, (nicknamed "Loser Lorries", because only those who wash out get a ride back in the truck)

The women were pitching camps and readying to eat their rations. The officers and NCOs were devising cruel pranks and tests to make sure the women had learnt the lessons from the past eleven months of training. They were going to launch a mock chemical and conventional artillery attack against a few dozen of the camps, then against the others, perhaps infantry attacks, sapper attacks, sniper attacks. It was all basically advanced laser tag, nobody would get hurt... Well unless some of the men readying for the mock attacks got carried away and slapped a few of the women around. But hey, this was supposed to be realistic training, and the general wanted to see they got realistic training.

General Gunther Thaller stepped out of his jeep and looked at one of the main camps the women had made, scarcely any guards open fires! "Have they learned nothing!" He spat, "We must teach them a lesson they won't soon forget, make sure the men have enough condoms and tell them let the hunting begin!"

What he didn't know was that the women in the camp were lying buried in the sand waiting in ambush, the open fires were to make it look as though they'd let their guard down.

Approximately 240 RG officers and NCOs moved towards the camp of about 800 women... The women had been given laser tag version of the M-14B rifle, the men were armed with laser tag versions of the XM-8 and OICW (they don't think the women are worthy or capable of using more advanced rifles)

The men were laughing and smoking as they walked towards the women's camp, there was no need to bother with noise or light discipline, these were weak women they were going after... They walked into the center of the camp and a young corporal looked around, he spat a wad of tobacco juice and scratched his head, "Where the hell are they?"



Suddenly all around them the women sprung the ambush... The laser tag guns were going off left and right... Suits were registering as kills or wounds and the owners gun would lock up and he'd be out of it... After about five minutes, it was all over, the men had been thoroughly trounced... But they had managed to take out approximately 50% of the women there, and the men had been outnumbered. One of the men laughed at the women, "You're just lucky we weren't even trying, or you'd all be out of this by now!"

About 20,000 of the women trainees had made it through the desert and were arriving at the last leg of the march. The NCOs and officers were frothing with rage, the women had successfully overcome all their pranks, harassment tactics, traps, and other such tools designed to slow them down and sap their morale. Granted the male recruits almost always overcame these obstacles, they just didn't like the idea of women winning, even though not nearly the same percent of women made it through the march as did the men.

But that wasn't the issue, General Gunther Thaller had decided his men should try something different than the "Clubbing Frenzy" which was standard for men on the last few hundred feet of the march... They'd instead make sure all the women were prepared for any and all psychological warfare techniques that might be used against them if they were ever to be captured.

Thaller's second in command frowned as he asked, "Sir, what do you mean, psychological operations?"

Thaller smiled and replied, "What is the most obvious torture women soldiers will be subjected to if captured?"

The second in command smiled, but only to please his commander, he was disgusted with what he was suggesting, "Sir are you seriously going to allow that?"

(Thaller) "No, I won't allow it, the men will likely have to be ordered to do so..."



And so the order was given, and none of the women were given their ensignia and RG caps until they'd sufficiently "accommodated" any of the male RG soldiers present that wanted to be "accommodated".

After Thaller's men had "Welcomed" the women into the Guard, Thaller addressed the newly formed 31st Republican Guard Armored Division, and then announced they'd be war gaming against another RG Armored Division.
