At 5:00PM, South Attica Hochkommand ordered all forces to commence what they call "Operation Pionïr". 6 Panzer and 4 Sturmpanzer divisions began moving towards the FPC border, as 10 Infantarie and 4 Sturminfantarie divisions moved in close rear. 4 Sturmpanzer and 5 Sturminfantarie divisions were still left in Sudattika, in order to defend against any attacks.

It is, as of now, unknown what the North Attican response will be, but most people beleive that they will invade South Attica.

Kahta will remain neutral.

As the Cruise Missiles arrive, they are shipped to key border locations. Within 10 hours, the attack would start on Attica.

After the first signs of hostile movements towards the FPC border reported by spies and scouts, the temporary government under the leadership of Nikolai Smereka, declared partial mobilisation of the army. In a matter of hours, the full time military personel where already being shipped towards the border with South Attica. Reserves were already getting called to get their equipement and weapons as the full mobilisation of the armed forces may be called up by the current prime minister by interim.

As the clock strikes 10, 60 Tomahawks begin flying towards key North Attican positions. 90 Tomahawks begin flying towards the FPC border, as well. Completely in-sync, 6 Panzer, 4 Sturmpanzer, 10 Infantarie and 4 Sturminfantarie began moving directly towards the FPC border. 4 Sturmpanzer and 5 Sturminfantarie began crossing the South-North border, on a route directly towards Brelinburg.

No nation will be allowed to send military units throught the South Kahtan sea.

As the Sturm-divisions entered Attica, they met small amount of resistance, primarily Kaiserheer divisions that were left behind. Upon nearing Brelinburg, the Leopard 2 and KT-2 tank divisions met fierce resistance by the Panzerkorps, equipped primarily with Cougar tanks. As the South Atticans gain ground, they lose more and more men.

After 2 days of fighting, the city of Brelinburg is taken

As the South Attican ennemy force enters FPC land, it's soldiers are directly put under fire by hidden soldiers. These sharpshooters however, are quickly tossed aside after inflicting light casuatlies on Southern Atticans.

Later on, South Atticans come under fire from well concealed bunkers that are equipped with AT & machine guns. There are hundreds of these various sized bunkers that are all mainly in the huge forests at the border.

Main roads and the land near the border are also mined. The fighting will be difficult as 90% of it, initially, will be in forests. Small groups of militia (citizens armed with AK-47s, molotov cocktails, grenades & RPGs) sneak behind the ennemy convoys and attack them. So far, 500 soldiers (sharp shooters) and 340 militias have died.

In support of FPC and Nikolai Smereka, the government of Listovia declares war on South Attica and begins mobilisation. Within the end of the day, 800,000 soldiers armed with AK-74s, 1,000 T-90s & 700 pieces of artillery had been sent to FPC where they have been taken under command of Nikolai Smereka himself.

Listovia's prince, Pieter Soronov, announced that Listovia is FPC's brother and that brothers will fight side by side until victory or death. An estimated 4 million Listovian soldiers, 3,000 tanks & 10,000 artillery pieces will be available to be sent to FPC for defeating South Attica.

As the South Attican Panzers continued rolling thru North Attica, kept going by as steady stream of supplies, they became increasingly stressed by resistance. Zenterstadt fell one day after the capture of Brelinburg. Already, Sturmtruppe divisions were inside Sturmstadt, fighting on the streets with Kaiserheer and Reichswehr units.

On the FPC front, Panzers and infantry kept moving, following "Operation Pionier". Approximately 1/3 of that attacking force moved east, towards the Kahtan border. Another 1/3 would move to the lower center of FPC, then sweep upwards, taking the FPC capital. Finally, the last third would sweep directly upwards and into Listovia.

With the South Atticans nearing the Tuetonwald, the Reichswehr began preparing defenses in the forest. Once the South Atticans reached the forest, they would have hell to pay. Also, two Kaiserheer Panzer divisions were deployed to Listovia.

Well i'm more than a little attached to the CDA plus i kind of like being out on my own in the middle of no where.

The Autonomous City-states severed diplomatic relations with the Atticans decades ago over their perennial aggression towards FPC. We are deeply disturbed to see that the belligerance continues. The Federated Concordat deplores the violent actions of the South Atticans and hopes that the individuals responsible for this invasion are brought to swift justice.

I regret to inform you that we are presently engaged in preventing a hostile takeover of the McLeodian Government by foreign-backed insurgents and terrorists. Their capital city was decimated by a smuggled nuclear device and their country has fallen into civil war. Our military resources are devoted to that effort at this time.

However, we could arrange for a "care package" of sorts to be sent to the FPC to help ensure your territorial sovereignty. If that is agreeable to your nation, we will make the arrangements in short order.

As the Panzers reach the Teutonwald, they are forced to slow down, utilizing engineer divisions during the assault. Ambushes end up being quite common, but thanks to Kahtan supplies, the South Atticans are able to continually pour equipment into battle, even able to defeat superior North Attican equipment, simply by numbers.

SIC:
From the Reichsmetall plant in Mittelrudava, a truck carrying a full load of Rm-531 Sturmgewehre (Assault Rifles), and corresponding ammunition, partakes on a trip via FPC controlled FPC, towards FPC's military bases, in order to assist in their resupply. If FPC was able to strike a major victory in Sudrudava, a continuous supply line could be created, but, small pocket shipments such as this would be the only supply line possible, seeing as Mittelrudava was surrounded by South Atticans.

Receiving intel from North Attican intelligence that a major victory in Sudrudava could help open and maitain a pocket for the allies (North Attica, FPC, Listovia), FPC's Emperor and head of military (HHQ) began scrambling to make a war plan.

They would use the 4th, 5th, 6th, 10th, 19th, 24th and 45th Guard's army, the 2nd, 6th and 20th tank division, the 3rd and 7th air army, the 2nd, 18th and 27th militia division and 3 Listovian army divisions numbering in total:

The first Listovian divisions reached the main battlelines in a matter of hours. Already, a plan had been sketched to take them in the field of glory, to show their valour. A small pocket near the North Attican/FPCian border wich had been taken by South Attica was reportedly lightly defended. Listovian High Command decided to send 1 full division (25.000 Infantry), wiht possible backup from 2 other divisions armed with AK-74s & M60s, in that budge to take it back.

At 4 0'clok in the morning, the attack began. All along the bulge, troops stormed the border to retake the pocket. Listovian soldiers are each equipped with 5 hand grenades plus their main weapon and are expert in wooded warfare, wich is a caracteristic of the fighting in FPC.

OOC: There are 2 Sturmpanzer and 3 Sturminfantarie divisions, equalling about 30,000 elite infantry and 1000 Kahtan KT-2 Tanks. The destruction of them would probably cripple the South Atticans offensive capabilities in the east.

As FPC begins it's massive assault, the Panzers are sent in first, in order to make an attempt at destroying their spearhead. Appearing as a trap to the FPCians most likely, the Infantry divisions began outflanking maneuvers around the FPC troops.

In North Attica, the fighting was brought to a standstill, with reinstated NA troops slowly beginning to wear down the continually increasing size of the SA army. However, the Tuetonwald forest was nearly in southern control.

The Panzers are met on by the Leopards wich are greatly outnumbering their ennemy. Anti-tank support is also in the form of aerial strikes by jets and attack helicopters. Realising the flanking manoeuvre, the numerous divisions begin to attack towards their flank, to try and break the ennemy and, of course, not to get encircled. Attack helicopters are present as they strafe the ennemy soldiers who reveal themselves by charging or walking along roads and they also rocket any vehicle.

By the end of the first day, 7.000 FPCians, 300 tanks & 14 helicopters had been killed or destroyed.

8,000 Southerners, and 200 Panzers were destroyed in the initial duel. As the troops continued moving en masse to outflank the enemy troops, the Panzers launched another strike, this one in a triangular formation in an attempt to pierce their line.

This time, FPCians tanks dug in and await the Panzers. They have interlocking positions and hidden AT guns. Air support is concentrated only on shooting the Panzers before they reach the first lines of the Leopards. Then, attack helicopters and fighter jets attack the rear of this tank triangle. As for the troops, FPCian infantry continue their push, however, they have learned since their forefathers and attack in squads, with each squads linking eachother as to stop the human wave attacks of the SA.

As the rear of the Tank formation crumbles, the Tanks are forced to reverse direction, splitting up into two distinct groups, each attempting to reach a defensable position. The Sturminfantarie divisions begin a massive counteroffensive against the FPC divisions, utilizing captured North Attican rifles. As the counteroffensive marks, mortars and artillery ring from behind the line towards the FPC line.

After recieveing the message from FPC at 5:20 pm. THe Fleet begins to sail and it going full steam. Many problems have arose over the trip.

Gen. Scroggin - Well, we have to get this figured out I'll contact the FPC to find out where I good port would be. That I could land my enormus amounts of troops.

OOC: Alright, that's far too short - for starters. Here's a list of questions you should probably address.
1) Where did these troops come from?
2) How did they get there/How are these troops being deployed?
3) Are these just conscripts (read: cannon fodder) or professional troops?
4) Are these infantry and support personnel... or is this supposed to be the number of troops actually fighting?
5) Where are you invading FPC at?
6) You also have a population of 9 million. How can you support such a relatively large military contingent? That's just over 2 percent of your population being sent overseas.

***STATEMENT FROM KAHTA***

Kahta just sent 25 Armoured and 50 Mechanized Divisions into the colony in former East FPC. 75 Seawolf Class submarines have been sent to blockade the Southern Ports of FPC, the mines in the Kahtan Strait have been activated, as have the mines between North Attica and Kahta. Any ship that attempts to navigate these waters will be sunk by land based aircraft. Additionally, 550 B-52's will be based in former East FPC to sink any ships that try to cross.

SIC North Attica:
As news reaches NA that Kahta has committed acts of war against NA, the imperial air force prepares a large strike force comprised of Te-210s, Kr-200s, and SB-100s. Approximately 10,000 aircraft begin launching from NA airbases.

SIC South Attica:
As news of Kahtan attacks on the eastern border of FPC reach them, 2 newly formed Infanterie divisions enter Sudrudava, in order to help stabilize the line. So far, the gap between the Kaiserreich and FPC is still controlled by the Faschistrepublik.

As the rear of the Tank formation crumbles, the Tanks are forced to reverse direction, splitting up into two distinct groups, each attempting to reach a defensable position. The Sturminfantarie divisions begin a massive counteroffensive against the FPC divisions, utilizing captured North Attican rifles. As the counteroffensive marks, mortars and artillery ring from behind the line towards the FPC line.

The SA artillery does some damage but nothing big since the troops are widespread and not bunched up. They continue to counter-attack SA troops. So far, a stalemate as been reached has neither can FPCian or SA troops can make huge progress. Fighter jets are rerouted to attack the SA artillery wich doesn't seam to be AA protected. Reports of casualties inflicted on SA artillery have yet to come. At mid-day, artillery, protected by AA guns carried on trucks, finally arrives behind the FPCian lines and they begin to fire on the SA infantry lines.

At the end of the day, 5.000 Infantry casualties (70% WIA) and 30 tanks are destroyed.

Approximately 30% of the artillery is destroyed on the edges. Over 20,000 infantry were killed and 1000 Panzers. However, it is beleived that the new infantry divisions arriving, as well as extra panzer shipments from Kahta, will be able to turn the tide and push back the FPCians, unless NA mounts a successful attack, of course.

IC NA:
As the SA lines obviously weakened from redeployment to the east, 6 Kaiserheer Panzer Divisions and 12 Kaiserheer Infanterie divisions began an attack on the Teutonwald Forest.

Folowing the declaration of war by Jackdonia, Reserves are being sent to coastal towns and forts throughout FPC. Also, at the same time, they are there to protect any attempts by Kahta to invade their homeland.

Furthermore, all major roads and airstrips have been mined. Major cities have been somewhat evacuated. AA batteries, artillery positions and defensive positions have been constructed all over FPC.

Another 4 million infantry (professional), 4.000 tanks, 19.000 artillery & 60 fighter planes have been sent to the Western Front to counter attack the SA invasion.

Listovia as done the same thing as FPC with their defensive preparation.

Approximately 30% of the artillery is destroyed on the edges. Over 20,000 infantry were killed and 1000 Panzers. Seeing the front being calmed, FPCian generals order troops on the Sudrudava front to dig in. Near mid-day, the first parts of reinforcements arrive (600.000 Infantry, 900 tanks, 5.000 artillery, 30 fighter planes). Also, at some places, mines and small booby traps are installed but mostly on the left flank of the FPCian army.

Seeing as anyone who is currently at war with North Attica is no longer a participant in the Meridian Pact, we would like to create a new pact/alliance, which, at least temporarily, will be known as the Republican Axis. Seeing as most combatants on our side are conservative, we beleive the name be appropriate. When we succeed in defeating FPC, North Attica, and now Cariada, FPC will be divided between us and Kahta. Cariada will receive harsh reparations and lose its western territories to Kahta.

Very well. I agree to join this alliance.

At the begining of the third day, at 3 o'clock AM, in the Sudrudava pocket, FPCian artillery begins shelling the SA infantry positions while fighter planes are again sent to attack the SA artillery & Panzers. The artillery barrage takes an hour, and almost the same amount of time for the planes aswell. 2 planes are downed due to technical problems.


Then, attack helicopters are sent to assault SA infantry positions on the Right FPCian flank. The attack takes 30 min. During this attack, 3 chopper were downed, 2 by ennemy fire and one by technical problems.

Casualties are high, but the South Atticans hold their ground. The artillery, this time, are dug in and camoflauged, and are not hit. Vulnerable Panzer and Infantry divisions are hit hard, though.

2,400 Infantry and 65 Panzers are KIA.

The Scoylian Fleet soon picks up anchor an begins its Long Journey to the Coast of South Attica. The fleet begins its move in the middle of the day. It plans to reach the invasion area early into the morning just before the sun rises.

They contiue on full steam and have very few problems until they reach about 10 miles away from the invasion point at Jdazd. They would attack early in the morning.

Stretched over a twenty mile long and two mile wide 'corridor' of restricted airspace, two full squadrons of C-27 Globestar heavy lift transports, escorted by 46 Squadron, one of the first F-114 squadrons to see combat in the Wolfcat fighter, head towards North Attica. The aircraft contain enough munitions and spare parts to keep the McLeodian aerial forces soon to depart for strike missions against Kahta operational for nearly a month. They would land, and have a base secured within 48 hours. After that, the real war could begin.

As the Allied thrust thru the Teutonwald Forest continues, the FRA forces are slowly pushed back. Taking increasing losses due to continued attacks by KRA forces, the supply lines with Kahta were beginning to be drawn thin.

In the small hours of the night a massed formation of Crookfur strategic attack aircraft assemble within 500km of hamptonshire and after a final tanking operation turn towards South Attica, on nearing the SA waters (from the south east) the massed formation splits into 6 sperate groups.

the bombers are going after air feilds and and air defense infrastruture priamrily, the B-2s are armed for the defeat of hard targets be they either of a time critical nature or otherwise, so unless there are specific objections they will go for major coms and govenrment centres. the lack of fighter cover is mainly due to the fact that appart from carriers i don't have any in range and the fact i'm wanting to test AAM loadouts for for the AWACs and Super Vulcans.

Like a wall of death, four full squadrons of EB-1Cs, two full squadrons of EA/B-5s, and the first operational squadron of EB-3s begin to attack targets across Kahta. The EB-1s and -3s carry mixed payloads of Python anti-radiation missiles, Wolverine advanced cruise missiles, and Anaconda hypersonic air-to-air missiles. The EA/B-5s carry Boa anti-armour missiles, light laser-guided bombs, mini-Maverick missiles, and two Adder short range air-to-air missiles.

SA artillery continues to do damage, though little compared to what they suffer: 1.230 Infantry casualties (800 WIA, 430 KIA), 12 tanks destroyed and 10 artillery destroyed.

The third day in the Sudrudava ends quietly as FPCians generals declared a small truce for the rest of the day for peace talks to be made...

After being shipped the new aircrafts bought from IDF, the HHQ send the new bombers to the Western Front on the night of September 8 (3rd day of the battle of the Sudrudava pocket). 200 bombers, with their full payload, being defended by intensive AA foritifications and constant radar/recon plane sweep (plus the fact that they are far from the lines, given their range) await the fourht day to see if they will be needed; rumors or an armisitce are begining to spread like wildfire through the lines.

Clause I: Armistice
As of 12:00 on the day of the signing, all hostilities between warring nations shall cease. Should

hostilities continue, the peace treaty shall be considered invalid.

Clause II: Lengthened Peace
The forces of the Republican Axis shall be considered defunct for 2 years, as the nations who control them

rebuild and reconstruct. Aid will be provided by the Meridian Alliance, if necessary. This peace should last 50

years.

Clause III: East FPC (OstFPC)
90% of the territory of East FPC shall be given back to the government of FPC. The remnant will be granted

to the Empire of Cariada. All Kahtan forces should exit the area within one month of signing this treaty.

Clause IV: Caelta
The former Republic of Caelta shall be given limited independence as a colony of Kahta. They shall be

entitled to hold self-representing council similar to town meetings and small local legistlatures. A representative

should be allowed to partake in the national government, as well.

Clause V: South Attica
The Fascist Republic of Attica shall lay down all it's arms, and military. The lands that currently comprise

it shall be reinstated into the Empire of Attica, under the Petinski crown. All in the FRA shall be granted amnesty.

Clause VI: Economic Rights
The Empire of Attica and FPC shall be granted free trade with Kahta. Any tariffs currently in place for

Cariada, McLeod03, and Scoyle shall be reduced by one half, and shall be locked in that state for 50 years.

Clause VII: Royalty
The current leader of Kahta, Samuel MacDonald, shall be henceforth granted royal status in Kahta, to promote

political stability. His family shall be retitled Katz-MacDonald, making him King Samuel Issac of Katz-MacDonald.

Clause VIII: Reconstruction
All parties hereto signing this treaty shall grant a minimum of 1% of their GDP towards reconstruction in

the damaged nations. A failure to do so will render this treaty invalid.

Clause IX: Peacekeeping
If it is found necessary, a peacekeeping division comprised of troops from the Meridian Alliance nations

shall be created in order to keep the peace in any nation, defeated or otherwise, that was involved in this war.

Clause X: The Undersigned
The undersigned agree to partake in the clauses written in this written treaty.

After giving his approval for the peace treaty, Nikolai Smereka was a bit concerned that he would'nt have a chance to test his new B-52 Stratfortress(100). As they were already in position on the SudRudava pocket sector, he sent a call to the High-General in charge of the sector:

"High-General Trostko, send the 100 B-52s on a bombing run of the ennemy Infantry and tank sectors. I want them to fully drp all of their paylod.
-Da sir!"

At 6:55 AM, on the fourth day of the battle, 100 B-52s took off from their multiple landing strips and headed for the SA positions, nearly all of them. Once there, they dropped their enormous payload on them. Huge clouds of smoke and large explosions could be seen from one side of the pocket to the other. All that was left were the numbers of the SA casualites.
