This is for those of you interested in joining the TGC. However, due to the nature of this community, everyone will not be allowed in. (if everyone would be good enough to get in, then there would be no point in making it) Confused? Have no idea what I am talking about? Now, on to business. For those of you interested, all you need to do is submit a piece of your RPing. It can be part of a war that you have already taken part in, or, you can request a scenario and submit an artificial reply RP.

The piece will be graded by me and the other organizers on the following:

Spelling/grammar: 9 pts possible (minimum of 6)
If your not lazy, this is and easy 10 pts. Grammar and spelling is important to a good RP.

Understandable, detailed actions: 20 pts possible (minimum of 16)
If your actions are not vague, but are detailed and we can detirmine exactly what your doing, then you will get a high score. This is possibly the most important category, a vague post only leads to arguments when the other RPers do not responde properly because they didn't understand what you were saying.

Fairplay: 12 pts possible (minimum of 8)
Fairly self explanatory.

Style: 9 pts possible (minimum if 3)
This is important to an enjoyable RP. If an RP is fun to read, it will be fun to play. The more characterfull the posts are, the higher the score. Also, writing quality and use of words will also fall under this category.

Total: possible 50 pts.
For acceptance, a score of 40 or better is required. (this is an elite community) Also, if any of the category scores are lower than the minimum, then the application automatically fails.

In my oppinion, the first two posts of mine are the best, and so those will count as my submission.

As good as they are, (exelent, actually) it doesn't give me much to work with for the second and third categories. If you have anything involving you RPing direct military action, that would be great.

Well, Mindset, this being an OOC alliance for good RPs, it would be OK for you to be a pacifist, as some of the RPs would be diplomatic ones, etc.

Lol, this is more work than I thought. Is there anyone who would like to be a TGC mod/admin? It would help me greatly. Just start reading through some of the submissions and give your own oppinion.

This sounds interesting. I'd like to join, too. While I have RPed in the past (I've been RPing since late 2001), I haven't tried anything quite like this before. So, I'd like to request a scenario. I prefer Modern tech and I am capable of RPing in practically any theater of combat (Land, Sea, Air, Space, etc).

If it would be easier for you, I can brainstorm a scenario for myself, or help come up with one for someone else.

An enemy nation has declared war after mobilizing their main tank Corps. 2 heavy tank divisions have been spotted entering the North-eastern boarder along the main road. (As marked on map) Also, spied has reported a division of light and medium tanks preparing to depart along the North-western road. Your resorces are limited, and the heavy tank divisions (about 300 armoured units) is traveling about 80 Km/hour, heading for the first main urban area. The two heavy tank division appears to have little-no infantry with it. This is all the info you have right now. More ubdates will be made as the scenario progresses.



How you play this is up to you. You can design your defence force any way you want, use any tactics that you want. There are some obvious weaknesses to the attacking force. Be specific to locations and actions, use good spelling and grammar, good luck. This is farely open-ended, so it gives you some freedom to decide the causes and so forthe.

The mission for the Special Operation team (Mine being A.R.C. troopers) is to defuse the situation as quickly as possible and prevent the death of thousands.(Gronde would be playing out the Terrorists or would I also play the terrorists?)

No offence, though, but you are the kind of RPer that this community was designed to get rid of. In your space tech wars, you were one of the worst numberwanking and uber-tech abusing nation around. With your reputation, a scenario wont be suitable. You will need to give me an example of a past war that you have been in, and allow that to be judged.

I am thinking about moving this to a different thread. I will play as the invaders, making sure to include logistics, etc. . . and you will play as the defenders, just like a normal RP. You are free to design any kind of defence force that you want, and defend any way now.

The door clanged open. The floor resonated with the sound of heavy, thudding boots, more suited to an atmosphere denser than the one it stood in now. As the figure shut the door, it tentatively looked around, scanning the darkness for any other figure. It apprehensively walked through the central chamber core, the constant whirr of machinery blocking out the sound of it's heavy boots. It still walked on, clutching his small, irregularly shaped pistol, the one his master had supplied to him. Finally at last, it hurried to the memory terminal. It let out a cry of joy, a cry that never came out. Immbeded into it's throat, was a long, elongated blade. It dropped to the floor, the blood oozing from it's face, still contorted in horror.

Tarinthe removed the blade from the mon-keigh's throat. He wiped it on the cloth, then forced it into his sheath. Another figure emerged from the darkness, he also carrying a blade, but longer, more elagantly shaped. Sicarus stepped forward, examining the mon-keigh's dead body.

"You idiot! This is his prized slave. Inzalas will have our heads!" Sicarius hissed.

"Maybe so, but Inzalas wanted something here. Otherwise he would not have sent the mon-keigh."

T'wern't stale to me when I got there, and the characters - yep, they're not completely fleshed out, but then again, my position in the RP as a whole is not that big, and I've been asked not to "make huge waves".

Honor of getting ejected? Lol. Your posts are generally fun to read. Your only downfall may be your spelling/grammar.

BTW, anyone who fails but scores higher than a 30 will be inducted as a cadet. You would still be able to take part in most of the TGC RPs, but cadets tend to be watched more closely.

Anyone who wants to get a scenario faster, (I can only do one at a time, really) make up the scenario and TG it to me. I will approve it if it works and then you can find someone else to RP with you. It could be another TGC applicant as well. Meaning, 2 people could use the same scenario. I really want to get this going, but I am only one person.

Just choose a small island somewhere, I don't care which one, and RP using a RL map. After I see what island you've chosen I'll RP using a RL map also.

We'll do Grenada, that's a relitivaly small island, I'll go with a battalion 600 strong against your force, of, say about 400, which is fair, becuase you'll have vehicles and defencive positions, not to mention support from the locals.

Sounds good, be sure to factor in some losses from miss-drops and the like, para-drops never go off without a hitch.

Which one did you grade? And I am honored even to be a cadet.
