Queen Adrian the third strode purposefully into the small, tastefully appointed conference room. Inside were 3 men and 2 women. As Queen Adrian walked in all of them stood, taking their seats when she sat down. She looked around the room at the slightly puzzled faces and then smiled, and said “you’re probably wondering why I called you all here today.”
“Well, there have been several problems in the world at large today. Our government is unable or unwilling to deal with these problems. As such I have decided to spend some of our military surplus to fund an order of knights. Three different orders, all under one overall leader, and yes I know that there are five of you here in this room. Colonel Lee will be running a sub unit. Mark Hughes will be in overall charge. There will be three different orders, each with there own goals and specialties.
The Knights of Augustus, the Knights Hospitaler, and the Knights of Michael. Jason Deveris will lead the Knights of Augustus, who, after their patron are in charge of building things. Mainly they will go into poor or war torn countries and help rebuild them. Alexis Dlase, you will be placed in charge of the Knights Hospitaler, who as their name implies are to be an order of healers. Sam Wolvestien, you are to be in charge of the Knights of Michael. Your order will be charged with protecting the other orders, training police, military in the war torn nations. You will also have charge of helping freedom fighters, and covert operations. Colonel Lee will be in charge of your air forces.” “Any questions?” The queen asked calmly to her shocked audience. “Well then let us be about it.” She said. The conference room rapidly filled with projections and plans. Within a few days a plan had been worked out.
