Dr. Jeffrey Gaines- Leader of the Christian Fascist party, age 70. He lost the last election, his party did horribly. However, he is connected to many powerful people in the military.

It was a quiet day in Kalinsgrad. Parliament was meeting, but that was about it. The royal family was out helping at an aid effort in the Pyrenees, which had been ravaged by mudslides, however....

"It's time, General. Fullfill our mission- for Christ. For the Father."

"Yes, Dr. Gaines." That was the voice of General William Antonescu, a highly-respected General. "My troops are ready to storm the capital. We should be able to take Parliament easily. No one will defend the government. They'll flock to our new order."

"For your sake, General, you had better be right." Dr. Gaines then left the room.

General Antonescu picked up the phone. "To all units of the Sevarisian 9th and 6th Armies- Operation Pentecost is go."

At that moment, two armies, more than 175,000 men, entered the capital. Within hours, they seized key installations, such as Shaw International Airport, Chatham House, the Parliament building, and key railroad junctions. Dr. Gaines was flown to the capital, where he spoke on national TV.

"My fellow Sevarisians- a dark chapter in our history has ended. Patriotic units of the army have liberated the capital, and consequently, Sevaris herself, from the rule of the godless royal family. Now, we begin a new era, with full devotion to Christ our saivor."

Meanwhile, at Pasajes...

Kaiser Alec was informed of the situation by his press secretary. He was then rushed into a press conference.

"Today, our capital has been seized by the damn Christian Fascists. We will liberate it at all costs. Our country has suffered tyranny already. Never again."

"Sir, we've got a serious problem in Sevaris," reported a briefing officer to Executor Xavier Davidson.

"It'd better be serious, considering that I woke up at 0400 this morning for it..." grumbled the Executor, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. Tyrandisan-Sevarian relations were rather strained these days, due to the annexation of New Zealand by Tyrandis, despite having aided the Sevarians during the blockade by Kahta and other major powers.

"It is sir. Evidently, there's been a military coup, led by religious fanatics. A Mr. Gaines is their leader. Two armies under his control have occupied the capital, while the legitimate ruler and his family are trapped in some backwoods area destroyed by a natural disaster."

"Hmmm... So we've got another wanna-be Fabus." sighed Davidson. "Even though we have no particular love for the Sevarians, we will stop this rebellion.

Patch me into SOCOM, and get Ayu on the line."

The large plasma screen television in the confrence room flickered to life, as the image of General Ayumi Hamasaki, leader of the Special Operations Command, appeared.

"Ayu, get a Pathfinder team ready for immediate deployment to these coordinates I'm faxing over now, along with detailed orders."

"Yes sir!" saluted the general, and the telescreen shut down.

Smiling, she thought of the fate that this Dr. Gaines would soon face at the hands of the elite Pathfinders.

This sucker better make his peace with God, because he's going to see Him in just a few hours...

Army Group Valencia, and Army Group Barcelona have been formed to retake the capital. Combined, they have 800,000 men at their disposal, along with 3500 tanks of various types, and three aircraft wings. Kaiser Alec has ordered the rebels to surrender- or they will "expunged and purged, and, if need be, blasted." Also, the government of Sevaris has removed itself to El Ferrol, for the duration of this crisis.

Approximately 20 divisions of CM airborne and airmobile soldiers are readying to jump and helicopter lift into Sevaris. They are being put under the command of Field Marshal Philippe Bon and Field Marshal Antonio Don Juan Miguel. They will be helping the government forces crush the rebels.

The force consists of:

10 Parachute Divisions (Each 18,000 paratroopers, 500 C-130s to transport men and equipment, 2,500 hummers (1,500 M998, 400 M1043, 500 M1025, and 100 M1035) assorted light vehicles (200 M1083 Standard Cargo Trucks), shoulder launched weaponry (AT and AA), mortars, light artillery, and assorted reconnaissance vehicles)

Update: Many of the rebels are surrendering en masse to Sevarisian forces as they slowly close in on the capital. This leaves a force of roughly 25,000 left in the city, most of it concentrated in the downtown area.

ITD is dispatching 5 ITDGF divisions with 15,000 soldiers in each. They are armed with XM8's, OICW's and the latest in VC Amorphous Armor C Class. They will be escorted by an array of artillery and transport vehicles, including experimental Bradley Fighting Vehicles which have been retrofitted with amorphouse plating... hopefully they will work.

We are also dispatching 2 carrier fleets with 4 Nimitz class carriers each. They will be useful in possible bombing campaigns.

Normally their assasignments include protecting myself and other key Kelman officals from harm but are also more then capable of assasination. They are remarkabley skilled and number in the hundreds. 15 will be more then enough to get the job done. They use modern firearms and traditional Japanese weapons. They are masters at Tactical Stealth Espionage. They can bring you the head of Dr.Gaines if you so wish it. Update- Three paratrooper regiments (2,100 men) have landed in and around Robert G. Shaw International Airport. They managed to seize the hangars, but taking the terminals will be difficult. We are calling in artillery support. If you could aid us with shelling the building, that would help speed up the campaign.

Meanwhile, the main armored thrust has begun into Kalinsgrad. Over 1500 tanks just entered the city- accompanied by 250,000 infantry. They are encountering fierce resistance, but they will press on. At Shaw International, the situation is a bit worse. The paratroopers are held up on the far side, in the maintenance facility. They cannot move safely until heavier support arrives.

Tellegram to the rightful leadership of Sevaris:

Lord Nefraxis wishes to offer support in the form of air transportable medium artillery. We can have this equipment on the ground within forty-eight hours should you wish to accept.

At Parliament..where Dr. Gaines and the others are held up.

Dr. Gaines was concerned about the situation. "Damn jewish fuckers- They've managed to break through. They're advancing all fronts. General, I want you to start shooting the civilians. We have to hold the army at all costs."

Antonescu bawked at the idea. "No. Christ wouldn't want that. There is no way I am doing it- We can't kill our own countrymen."

"That's an order, General." Gaines pulled out his pistol. "Do it."

Several guards stepped up, in Antonescu's defense. Antonescu said. "Never."

Meanwhile, a flight of Su-33s was approaching the building. They had been ordered to soften up enemy positions. They dropped bombs on sites near Parliament, some hitting the building itself. The building then crumbled, hundreds of people are estimated buried underneath the rubble.

The soldiers began to fan out and take positions around the capital. They readied to fire when needed, but opted to remain hidden from enemy sight and take down those enemies who would dare try to escape the coming onslaught of the allied forces. Many of the soldiers remembers how they once threatened to occupy Sevaris during the the Kahta-Sevaris confrontations. So much had happened since then. Sevaris was now an ally of the LOEL. Many of the soldiers chuckled at this thought. The squad captain, a young Phillip Dak was not amused at this laughing. He reached for his radio and said:
~Squad, calm the hell down, before I sew your lips closed.~

The captain ment it too. He had done it before.

Just then a plane flew over, obviously and ITD B-52.

Several blocks were in flames in less than 2 minutes.

The soldiers just smiled.

At this time we are asking the disposition of the territory of Maryland in Earth III. Our forces will not cross into Maryland III but we will protect our territory from rebel forces. We have closed the highway crossings from West Virginia III into Maryland III East of Brucetan Mills on I-68, South of Cumberland on Rt. 50, North of Berkely Springs on Rt. 522, North of Martinsburg on Rt. 40, and Rt 340 at Harpers Ferry. All traffic on the C&O Railroad into Maryland III from West Virginia III has been interdicted, and all flights from West Cedarbrook into Baltimore-Washington III have been cancelled until verification of the security of the territory of Maryland III for Kaiser Alec has been confirmed.

Any and all rebel forces found in West Cedarbrook territory will be turned over to Sevaris forces loyal to the Kaiser.

Please confirm to us the disposition of Maryland III. We want to open up traffic as soon as this territory is confirmed safely in loyal hands.

Maryland remained loyal. There was no Christian Fascist uprising there. In Sevaris, it was only in the capital.

OOC: Morning Musume are genetically/psychologically enhanced Asian females, bred as the perfect soldier. MM are now the only soldier that SOCOM employs.

IC:

The Pathfinders were the most elite and secretive branch of the Special Operations Forces. Carrying the designation of SOF class Foxtrot in the 84th Operational Reconaissance Group, the Tyrandisan government publicly denied their very existence, leaving many discussions on the nature of the Pathfinder arm to public speculation.

Many assassinations were carried out by the Pathfinders, including those of the former Fuhrer of Greece and Cyprus.

Considering that half of the rebellion's army were in the 9th Army, killing its commanding officer would certainly cause a mass surrender, resulting in an easy victory for the Sevarian loyalist forces...

In the shadows of the night, the six Morning Musume silently infiltrated the compound of the 9th Army Command. Considering that the 9th was being held in reserve, overall security was lax; the only real threat were two sentries on the west side, who were speedily killed by silenced 5.56mm fire from USN Mk. 12 Mod 0 sniper rifles.

"Squad, listen up," ordered 1st LT Nami Tamaki over the secure radio channel as the six take up positions in the camp, "Our orders are to assassinate the general in command of the 9th Army. Fireteam Alpha will divert the enemy's attention with sniper fire and flashbangs. Bravo will neutralize the command tent."

Quickly, three of the Morning Musume scatter into the woods outside of the clearing, and shoot at rebel guard, who crumple to the ground as the SPR rounds cut into their fleshy bodies. Panic reigns throughout the camp, while the other three take advantage of the confusion to toss a thermite grenade into the commander's tent.

The flames spread all across the area, setting off an ammunition depot, just as the Pathfinders escape. The 9th Army was decapitated, and soon the rebellion would be crushed...

ITD forces are returning to the homeland. They will then be reorganized and set up for the invasion of the Terpaxis lands. (located region Terra Pax)
