VIDEO FEED:

(A very formal-looking office. There's a window in the background, with nothing but sky and clouds outside. The image centers on a tall caucasian woman with short blonde hair and one grey eye - her other eye is covered by a white eyepatch, and a vertical scar can be seen running across the covered socket. A caption reads: VERONICA ROSS, HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS. She smiles as she begins to speak.)

V.Ross: "Good afternoon, citizens of the world. It is my pleasure - and I am sure most of the civilized world would approve - to announce that effective immediately, the nation of Feminaria hereby abolishes all slavery within its borders. The practice is outdated, and furthermore the blossoming Feminarian economy has no need of it. Former slave laborers will be integrated into mainstream Feminarian society, offered paying jobs and set up with proper homes. They will, of course, receive the same rights and responsibilities as any other citizen."

(She pauses here, sipping from a glass of water before putting it back down onto the desk.)

V.Ross: "Furthermore, Feminaria will be temporarily opening its borders to foreign guest workers. Currently, the nation is mainly in need of construction workers, though there is also demand for restaurant staff. Wages offered are generous, and will be taxed according to standard Feminarian ratings. Currently, this means a 4% tax rate. Those interested are urged to contact the appropriate officials."

15,000 people from Kahta would like to move to Feminaria and get Visa's to work there as Construction workers. However, they would like the Feminarian government to pay for all moving costs.

A nation of Feminaria's population currently has no need for quite THAT many construction workers. However, temporary visas and barcoded surveillance bracelets will be issued to 1'500 of the most qualified. Transportation can be arranged, though.

OOC: Given the vast difference in income tax rates between these two nations (F: 4%, K: 87%, I think it was), they'll probably have more money than they'll know what to do with... they will of course be encouraged to spend most of it.
