Govenor Machika's down helicopter, killing himself and 12 senior officers of the Republican Armed Forces

At 1:40 AM Local Time, Lt. Governor Roshima Machika and her helicopter envoy was attacked by communist insurgents (hold up in pockets of resistance in forests, rurals areas etc) over the village of St. Ka Louren during a tour inspection of Neo Pacifica's rural areas.

Machika just appointed Lt. Governor of the newly formed Provisional Government (created by Terra Pacifica) just yesturday was killed as what witness say as a 'breathe taking display of violence as the rockets lit up the night sky'. He and 12 others were killed including Brigadier General Ryo Kagi commanding officer of Terra Pacifica's overseas forces in occupied Neo Pacifica.

Our Nation mourned the death of Roshima Machika as a decorated war veteran of the Tetra and Sorigaius Wars, and a former cabinet minister to the late former President Alan Ryo Takashi I. He is left with a wife and 27 year old son who is currently serving in the 1st Republican Guard Regiment (Terra Pacifica's Senior Fighting Regiment)

Police have began a crackdown on Communist Supporters

In response to this act of dishonor and violence, the provisional government of Neo Pacifica had declared martial law placing all municipal and civilian affairs to the military. Colonel Yu May Sha (Deputy Commanding Officer of Overseas Forces) has taken command of Terra Pacifican Forces and has unleashed a new campaign of search and destroy missions to hunt down Communist Insurgents.

President Kwong Ni Chan was not avaliable for comment but released this statement.

It was confirmed that at 1:40 AM Neo Pacifican Local Time that Communist rebels downed a helicopter belonging to the Armed Forces of the Pacifica. Killed in the blast were Lt. Governor Roshima Machika, Brigadier General Ryo Kagi, and ten other Pacifican military personnel.

According to our the Concert of Nations Treaty signed by both Terra Pacifica, Neo Pacifica, and Hamptonshire the Grand Duke has ordered all available Hamptonian assests in the area to assist in the fight aganist the rebel forces.

The 11th Fleet Squadron, already on station, will provide the Pacifican Forces with close air support as well as 2,500 Royal Marines of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Should the need arise the Grand Duke will authorize the deployment of up to 25,000 Royal Police Officers of the 17th Royal Police Assault Division to aide in the hunt of the rebels.

To that extent, Ambassador Sir Whelan McCarthy, who is currently meeting with Terra Pacifican officials, has been given a Field Commission to the rank of Lieutenant General, Royal Marines. Apart from acting as our senior military liason officer during this crisis, Sir Whelan will also be have Theatre Command over our assets in the region.


It is the goal of this Government to ensure the continued safety and stablity of our friends in Pacifica. We shall not stand by while our longest standing ally is racked with rebellion and strife.

RED BASTARD CHARGED WITH MURDER AND TREASON! CALLS FOR SUMMARY TRIAL AND EXECUTION!

[i]After only a few hours of searching by coalition forces (Hamptonshire, Colonial Military, and Terra Pacifican National Forces), we have just learned that with the help of municipal police forces on the ground with the Coalition that they have captured who they suspect is the cell leader that led the assasination of the late Governor, Mr. Roshima Machika.

The cell leader is described to be Yuri Meiki, described son of former Premier Ryo Meiki of the collasped socialist bloc government. Yuri Meiki and twelve others will be given a fair trial and likely be executed for crimes against the state of the Democratic Federation of Pacifica, more specifically, murder, conspiracy, terrorism and treason against the state.

Many provisional government officials are calling for the summary execution of Meiki and forgo trial proceedings, unfortunately Federal Government Officials back home in Terra Pacifica weren't avaliable for comment but described the issue as a 'delicate issue that should be left to the military'

Colonel Yu May Sha, commanding officer of all forces in Neo Pacifica believed in his own opinion that Yuri Meiki should be 'shot on the spot and was a communist bastard that deserved to be shown as an example of what happens when reds try to destory the foundation of freedom and liberty that his forces are working hard to perserve.'

Already opinion polls in Terra Pacifica are calling with an overwhelming 89% to execute Yuri Meiki and to double the efforts against the 'red menace' and communist insurgents.

Colonial Militia Regiment of Grabainis begin mobilization and should arrive within the week via, transportation from the Terra Pacifican Navy.

As part of our commitment to the stablity of the tetra strait region and to ensure that the foundation for democracy, truty, liberty and freedom remain strong, I have authorized the moblization of five colonial militia regiments from far and wide across the small island of Grabanis Pacifica.

The President of Darth Tepe looks at the news. Three generals sat in the office of the president. The prsident sat on his chair behind his desk and watched his generals argue.
President: "Gentlemen. What are our nearest troops?"
Navy general: "5 cruisers, 1 carrier"
Airforce general: "20 Hawk's onboard the carrier. Twelve choppers ready for a go in ten minutes from the signal"
Army general: "500 soldiers onboard the naval ships and choppers, 500 more will be ready for a go in 15 minutes from the signal"
President: "So, what's the problem?"
Army General: "It's-"
Navy general: "Nothing, sir. There is no problem"
Then, the door opened and a tall and muscular man in a suit walked in. He closed the door after him and walked to the President's desk and placed a file on it. "Ah, just the man I was waiting for" the president said and grabbed the file. He read it fast and then turned to his generals. "Send our troops to one of the minor cities, near the center of the country. Take the city over and start bombing the capital. Infrom the pacifica, that we shall be aiding the communist rebels"

30 minutes later
The gunfire had lasted for a few minutes. This small city was quite an easy target for the 400 soldiers that came with the helicopters, Some smaller helicopters soon landed around too, sending 100 more into the city. Many helicopters had been lost to the AA-batteries, and the losses were allso greater than the Generals in DT thought. When the city was at last taken over, and the transport planes sent out with the helicopters, the number of 500 soldiers had dropped to 359 men. It would take a while when the planes would bring the tanks, APC's, land rovers and men.
In the mean time, 15 planes were closing on the capital with full load of bombs inside. 5 had allready been lost to the AA-fire.

We have just recieved word that President Kwong Ni Chan wishes to address the congress and the nation after reports of a sneak attack against our forces currently stationed in Neo Pacifica during a routine search and destroy mission for communist insurgents. Insiders currently stationed in the trouble region reported that an outside foreign force which was 'well equipped' and 'well placed' had landed on Neo Pacifican soil and has officially invaded Federation Soil, we now go live as the President address the nation.

"Senators, Citizens and Members of the Colonial Congress, two hours ago around 1730hrs capital time I recieved a distressing report from the Provisional Government and senior officers that an outside foreign force had officially invaded and targeted our troops in a systematic invasion of Neo Pacifica, which we consider a colony and federal soil of the Federation.

We have now identified the size and mass of the force and can say that we suffered significant losses on the ground and in the air. Five minutes ago, our ground forces had confirmed that these foriegn invaders are those of the armed forces of the Soviet Republic of Darth Tepe and that there intentions are to destroy our way of life and the foundation of democracy we are building in Neo Pacifica and to restore power to the Communist Insurgents held up in pockets of resistance.

Our next action is clear, I ask congress to activate the mobilization of the Colonial Militia and the Armed Forces of the Democratic Federation and to effective activate the war measures act...I also ask the congress to effectively declare war against the Soviet Republic of Darth Tepe and it's allies. We shall not stand idle while these communist forces of evil and corruption move to destroy our way of life. Freedom shall reign, and like a great man once said...We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight in the air, land and sea, we shall fight on, and we shall never surrender...we shall not kneel to the evil commmunist empire that seeks to destroy our way of life. The secretary of the president walked into the office and placed a file on the presidents desk just as the leather chair turned, revealing the president sitting on it. He took the file and read it throught as the secretary walked away, closing the door. The president sighed as he read the part of the reinforcment of Neo pacifica. He shook his head and took the phone. He dialed his generals. "Gentlemen we have a code red. Send out thousand more troops. Expand our troops already there" he put the phone down and the phone cut off.

50 APC's pushed forwards on a long grass plain. Each APC was holding 5 extra soldiers, plus the crew that held the driver, radar and the machine gunner. Ten tanks crushed trees on their way, in a forest right next to the plain. 250 soldiers, armed with M-4's followed the tanks. In the mean time, more helicopters and naval ships were sent out from Darth Tepe. The occupied city was allready heavily defenced. There were more than 50 tanks, 50 land rovers and a bit more than 450 soldiers, inside houses around the city, either having snipers, MP5's or M-4's. Some even had bazookas or grenade launchers. In some windows were even light machine guns.

After the official declaration of war against the Soviet Republic of Darth Tepe, Commodore Ryo Mekina, commander and chief of the Ministry of Navy officially began preparations for the deployment of the 2nd Naval Reserve Fleet seen here leaving Hokanu Naval Base carrying an additional 2200 sailors and troops onto the shores of Neo Pacifica adding the total to 73,000 troops deployed in the Neo Pacifica region and another 20,000 Royal Hamptonshirian Forces currently involved in fighting Communist Insurgents and the Darth Tepian forces.
