Sarctic Hosts First Ever New Born Nation Conference (Open, very personal RP though)

Sarctic

The streets of Rontenko, the capital of Sarctic, where clean and beautiful. Various people dockered the sidewalks and cars rolled along. The decor of the city was very Russian and Soviet design.

From the main side of the street, a black, 3 windowed limo pulled onto Gregorian Avenue, where the main Senatorial building was upheld in all of its splendor. As the limo pulled into the driveway near the steps, cameras began flashing as a man came out of the limo. He had a dirty blonde hair and a set face with blue eyes. He was wearing a modest black suit and leather shoes. Applause erupted, polite applause, as he made his way up the steps. Light orange tapes held back a crowd on each side, along with para-military officers imposed at various areas, though appearing at ease and not armed heavily. The man, now identified as President Onsorn marched up the steps and into the Senatorial building. Inside, he marched quickly to the front of a large group of important looking people. All of them were leaders of countries like his. Newly born countries. Well, not relatively new, some being 3 years old, but all none of the less still in some slight disarray from the abrupt change. Larf imposed himself at the head and beckoned attention.

"Welcome, all of you. I greet you not as a foreign leader, but as a friend and confident. If you will all follow me, we can begin." And with that last comment, he walked back and pushed through two large oak doors in a very large conference room.

OOC: Hope the point is clear. Any nation that, in its RP history, was freed from some kind of tyrannic rules are welcome. But everyone is welcome I guess, though I prefer anyone not a "new" nation to post as if they were watching the conference on television. And in that case, roleplay yourself to a seat :)

OOC: My guy's name is James Washington II

I saw him walk through the doors and immediately recognized him as President Onsorn.

I then spotted his raggedy suit and thought, "that is no way for a leader to dress." while looking down at my 10,000 dollar Armani suit. He walked to the front of the room and called for attention.

"Welcome, all of you. I greet you not as a foreign leader, but as a friend and confident. If you will all follow me, we can begin."

He proceeded to open two oak doors which, although big, were not as big as mine. I got up out of my chair which was very uncomfortable and started to walk towards the open doors.
Varrus

Magistrate-General Claudius Crassus of Varrus stepped from his heavily armored limo, and proceded up the steps to the large double doors that lead into the so-called "Senatorial Building." As he reached the top of the expansive granite stairs, he felt somewhat self-conscious. His people had not pulled together in the infant days of their new nation the way others had. His dark grey military dress uniform would already set him apart from the civilian-clothed heads of state he was to meet today.

Perhaps... perhaps it would be best to leave the two Varrian troopers wearing kevlar and toting submachineguns outside with the host's paramilitary personnel. They might not even be allowed inside.

"Centurion?" he asked upon reflection.

"Your Lordship?" The senior of his bodyguards stepped forward immediately.

"I'd rather you two stayed outside. We don't want to portray me as a tin-pot dictator, do we?" Claudius chuckled.

"But sir - you'd be unprotected -" While the soldier's voice conveyed concern, his expression was unchanged.

Alas, the jaunty Claudius Crassus was already at the door. "I'm fine! Besides, I'll have these fine gentlemen to protect me!" He clapped one of the paramilitaries on the shoulder, and then was inside, hoping he wouldn't be too late.
