OOC: I made an account a while back, but I haven't really gotten into the RP'ing aspect until now. So while my nation doesn't look like a total newb, i'm still a newb. I spent a little time lurking, reading some posts and the stickies, so I think I understand how this game works.
I'm roleplaying as the Philippines, but in an alernate present, where the Philippines never gained independence until recently. The name is pretty stupid, I know, I meant to create this nation as a joke but I got hooked to the game. Is there a way to change the name?

Today marks our 1 year anniversary of our independence from the United States. We'd like to ask all other nations of the world to recognize our nation as the Republic of CheatCommandos, now that we have declared independence from the US. I am inviting all nations interested in getting to know our country to a meeting, which will be held in Lapu-Lapu City. We thank you in advance.
