The Communist International is seeking new applicants. We are a fairly old organisation, however have always been somewhat small (We peaked at 40-something members, but many have been removed for inactivity). We want this to change and become a recognised force for international socialism.

We seek nations with good levels of civil rights, and responsible government.

Responsibilities and benefits of members include, but are not limited to, humanitarian and economic aid, opposition to all forms of imperialism, comradeship, and an optional mutual protection treaty.

The application procedure is quite simple; basically the current members vote yea or nay on whether or not to allow prospective candidates in; 5 yes votes (considering current membership levels) guarantees entry in order to keep the procedure quick.

We are hoping to hear from interested applicants, and if you wish to know more, please do not hesitate to ask.

OOC: Also, if you want to join, please be prepared to post at least once a week (minimum) in our forum. (the address of which will be given to successful applicants.) As much as we'd like to keep everyone who puts their name down on the list as permanent members, basically a small active alliance is better than a big one with only a few people that actually do anything, so we occasionally have to prune the inactives :)

And also, if you are a member of another alliance and wish to establish ties between it and our alliance, please contact the nation Hallad by TG.

This is a mere expression of interest from a nation largely ignorant of the current state of the organisation and of its works.

The International helps its members econimically and militarily. We also discuss the issue of international polictics, and how it affects us.

Also, to be accepted, you must havea vote of 5 or more, and trust us, you'll more then likely be accepted.

I would like to know what kind of Communists you are. If you are Stalinist/Communists, Marxist/Communists, or Lenninist/Communists? Before I decide to figure if I would like to join.

We're mainly Marx-Engels Communists, the original. But I myself a somewhat of a Marxist-Leninist.

Well, I am the more liberal of the communists, my nation is ran in a socialist manner, allowing small businesses.

In real life I'm a Centrist ;)

Beth Gellert -not yet party to the International- is Igovian-communist, and the vast majority of Igovian Soviet Commonwealth comrades consider Stalinism, Marxist-Leninist communism, and most related doctrines to be an irrelevant tangent no more interesting than Fascism. The Commonwealth considers that it experienced the proper evolution from Celtic tribalism in the old countries to feudalism under the principality upon arriving in Beth Gellert, through bourgeois capitalism and party politics under Llewellyn, the dictatorship of the proletariat during the Beddgelen revolutionary era, and now the utopian pure communism and almost Greek democracy of the Igovian-driven senate system. Many in the population, then, are unlikely to align themselves with pre-mature Marxist movements, most of which are doomed to failure. However, it is mandated to the Igovians that their Commonwealth support the international revolution generally, and so debate rages on in the nation's thousands of Local Senates.
