Orange state's abortion stance is about to change subtly.

Now if a mother doesnt wish to have a baby Orange state will pay $20000 for her not to abort it. Instead the state will look after it. It remains her choice, but we are offering a new choice. (Orange state allows those who obey our rules lots of freedoms and rights)

In a pamphlet distributed through Orange state. One part reads as follows:

We will not lie, the baby will not be returnable after one week, as it will have undergone gene therapy, we will make it a warrior. Male or female our extreme gen treatment is designed to compensate for women's smaller phsyisques and cause more growth in them while not being dagerous. Your child will be rasied with these orphans and batches of test tube babies created by donors of sperm and embryos. We wish to expand our ar,my in the future and broadening our recrutment base is necessary.

Your child will be front line staff, however they will be fighting for their nation. They will reciev a good education and be the best of the best. (OOC: this is true) before any with aptitude for engineering medicine or driving will have a more focused education at 15. They will be allowed fun and socialising and will enjoy 3 days off in 14 throughout their education, with a 6 monthly two week holiday to broaden their minds and give them an insight into the nation they are defending. They will begin training at 8 but it only becomes intense at 16. These breaks mean that they will have some chance to enjoy the rewards of their career and the nation they are defending, which combined with the training we give them makes them almost fearless and unbreakable.

As troops they will continue to have leave and be paid well.

Are you considering aborting? Maybe you wish to contribute to your nation instead?

We will accept orphans and unwante babies of less than one week onld from other countries if they wish to send us any. the going rate remains the same, but we dont need more than a few tens of thousands at any rate.

Why not just let the woman decide? It's her body, after all.

she is allowed to. But we just encourage them to give us the baby rather than kill it. That is what the point of this is. We can use it. They wont have to kill it and we get a new recruit.

OOC: My own views on abortion are too mixed for this to be any reflection me in RL, its just my nation's solution to its abortion and recruiting crises in one move.
