The nation of the Lightning Star is, once again, stuck in the middle of a bloody power-struggle. Follow the collapse of the Third Great Empire, of which the Last Emperor was Vladius the ninth, in the Great Lightning Starian Slave revolt, the country has been nearly destroyed. 400 million citizens lie dead, adn teh country is enveloped in a Nuclear Winter. Of the 46 million people who remain, they have split into 5 Clans They are:

The Novions, the Al-Haqar, the Soldiers of Freedom, the Legion of Time, and the S.K.U.L's. Here is each of the clans followers, status, leader, and Style.

The Novions:
Made up of the remnants of the old Republic. They have been hiding in isolated enclaves since the end of the last civil war, over 200 years ago.
Amount of Followers: 8 Million. They have 150,000 Clan Soldiers.
Government Style: Democratic Republic
Leader: President Joe McHarvan

The Al-Haqar:
Made up of Pakistanis and other Muslims who have escaped the Wrath of the Parthians. They also have a large amount of Lightning Starians as well.
Amount of Followers: 15 Million, They have 500,000 Clan Soldiers
Government Style: Islamic Military Dictatorship
Leader: "President" General Muqtaron

The Soldiers of Freedom:
Made up of all the slaves that were freed at the end of the slave Revolt. They are the least numerous of the clan, but they have the best land, the smartest people, and the best Equipment. They have even re-discovered the ancient Mech-units that the Xagonians, a group of Slaves, had been working on 600 years ago, only 5 years before the Lightning Starians Enslaved them.
Amount of Followers: 4 million. They have 75,000 Clan soldiers, including 2,500 Mech-units.
Government Style: Congretional Republic
Leader: The Council of Tribe Leaders. The speaker of the council is Mazad Nouiron.

The Legions of Time:
Made up mainly of they Remnants of the Empire. They are the second most populous group. They rely more of brute force than on equipment, seeing how most of it was destroyed in the Missiling of the Islands by the Allies.
Amount of Followers: 13 million. They have 650,000 Poorly trained Conscripts.
Goverment Style: Empire
Leader: Temporary Emperor Syphonious The Second.

The S.K.U.L.'s:
A ruthless group of mercenaries who were never paid for their duties in the war. They think that because htey were never paid, whats left of the Empire should be theirs. They show now mercy, and they are feared on the battlefield. The rely mostly on Slave Labor to get everything done.
Amount of Followers:6 million. They have 125,000 Highly trained and well equiped mercenaries whoa re ruthless.
Government Style: Military Dictatorship
Leader: Lt. Gen Thomas "Skul" Langston.

The Iron Concordiat extends its support to the freed-slaves as it has done for their brothers and sisters in Mozambique. Military Aid and troops are en-route to support The Soldiers of Freedom in their quest for liberty and justice.

i shall extend my support to the legions of time when ready. I cannot currently do it.

Aust will aid the S.K.U.L's, we will send one squadron of helecopters and 100 men of the ASS deaths Head legion. These willl make raids to take slaves, we will also send, 4,000 men from lesser ASS legions and 30,000 from the Aust Troopers. As well as the 1st Wing and the 9th Wing of aircraft and the 6th fleet.

Our conditions are that we get any slaves we take, or at least share them out equally.

IC: Tarenteor, our national leader, is quite interested by the suggestion of a 'non-aggression pact' and would be quite willing to make a section specifically about the payment of the mercenaries. If the Empire is brought back to power, Jangle Jangle Ridge will attempt to pay the needed fees, with some degree of interest, along with another payment for helping in the war. We hope our proposition is good enough, as we wish only to unite the country back under the Empire, but need support to do so.

The 6th Assault Force arrived in the Valley of Nor-Vallom today.

Field Marshall Rommel is meeting with the leaders of the freed slave while all his troops, artillery, tanks, and vehicals are being entrenched in a square box formation, spanning from the top of one side of the valley to the other side by the entire 6th Infantry Division, containing 30,000 well trained soldiers with GSR36-A1 assault-rifles. Helicopters are prepared to lift off in a moments notice. A 4,000 meter airstrip is being built in the valley by 6,000 civilian engineers, to be ready by tonight. Everyone should been entrenched by the end of the day.

130,000 Jewish Soldiers with three weeks of training will arive at the Airstrip in Nor-Vallom Valley tommorow morning on Airbus A380s.

They will be armed with M-4 Carbines, RPG-7s, and Dragnanovs.

The Concordiat throws its support behind the Islamic Al Haqar tribe. Once we have whipped the Muslims passions to a fever pitch we will unleash the Jihadis on the other tribes armed with our military might. Islamic victory will be swift and complete.

We will open our country to The legions of time and those supporting them. No man can be spared as of yet becuase we are fighting for our existence.

The border was baisically Abandoned. After all, it was a giant mountain range that during NORMAL summer was at most 25 Degrees (farenheit). During the winter during this nuclear winter, though, it was well below -30. The few border guards that WERE there wore heavy snow-jackets. There were only around 1 of them for every mile of the 318 mile border, so they mostly rode around on Electric Sleds. Little did the Al-Haqaran guards know, however, that an Army was about to storm over their border.

It began at dawn. The people of the republic, who in their isolation had developed their own style of airship, flew over the mountains in Giant Titan-Class Airships. Missiles rained down upon the few villages near the border, killing everyone in them. Over 30,000 soldiers rode in technicals fitted with snow gear and special tanks through the secret tunnels that they had been building for years. They swiftly overran the 75,000 Soldiers that were sent to destroy them because the Al-Haqarans where taken by surprise, plus they had nothing that could take down the giant Airships.

The Al-Haqarans sent in aroudn 70 Fighter jets to destroy the attackers, not knowing that the enemy had airships. The jets were just blown out of the sky. The Republic's army moves ever-closer to the Capital fo the Al-Haqarans, the City of New Karachi.

Outside the City of New Karachi

The city was enveloped in utter panic. The Massive airships that were approaching the city had already lit 7 blocks ablaze, and they were sure to light at LEAST 20 more in the next hour. On the ground, over 60,000 Armed soldiers raced towards the city, which was by now nearly utterly defencless. The Al-Haqarans have moved their Capital to the Ice-Desert city of New Quetta, which they have begun fortifying with 300,000 soldiers, around 175 SAM missile launchers, and the city itself has aroudn 700,000 civilians in it..

We support the Soldiers of Freedom.

Soldiers have finished entrenching and are now prepared for anything. Some chemical protective suits have been brought in by helicopter, and enough for the whole army will arrive overnight by A380 transports. These transports will also contain troops, and all transports are being grouped into conveys and escorted by 150 F-16Cs. The 4,000 meter airstrip is complete.

150 F-16Cs have landed and are being stored. A380s containing jet fuel are landing every 15 minutes for the oil storage at the airstrip.

You have half a million troops, and that's WITH compulsory drafting. Actually 625,000 military units to be exact. That is your space fleet, ground army, all of, along with your engineers, tacticians, suits, all of them. You just deployed half of your military in one type of ground troops. If your a space nation, that leaves you with a ridiculously small fleet.

Onboard the R.A.S. Liberty

Admiral Ionfar looked at the desolate remains of the City of New Karachi. Around 3 million civilians and more than 200,000 Al-Haqaran sodleirs had died in the battle. Only 1,753 Novions had died, thanks to the fact that the Airfleet had just eliminated baisicaly all Opposistion. Just as the Admiral thought that the fleet would be heading home, he recieved new orders. In the center of his room, there was a screen. That is where he got his orders and his maps and other things. Suddenly, a head appeared on the screen.

"It seems that the Wirrawayans and the Al-Haqarans are building giant moaque, from which they will launch attacks. We CANNOT let it be finished. We are sending an extra 25,000 soldiers on around 17 more Airships to aid you, good luck."

New Quetta

Hundreds of missiles were beign fired at the city and from it. Hundreds of thosuands of soldiers manned the SAM missile launcher or were equiped with STINGER missiles or RPGS and were firing at the Behemoth Airships that approached them. Tens of thousands of soldiers were attacking the city, overwhelming the weakend posistions. At the Scimitar-al-Ali Mosque , thousands were fleeing the scene as hundreds of missiles flew towards it. Half-finished minarets fell to the ground. Of course, this just enraged the inhabitants of the city. Even more missiles began firing at the airships, and amazingly one crashed to the ground. Unfortunatly for the New Quettans, it crashed into 17 heavily populated blocks killing 40,000 and wounding well over 100,000. After launching around 700 Napalm Missiles at the City, the airfleet left. It didnt retreat, because they had accomplished their mission. The city was in flames, and the uncompleted Scimitar-al-Ali Mosque was now a rubble heap.

The Wirrawayans caused the Fleet to fall back, because they were downing Airships left and right. While that DID kill 34,000 Novions, it caused the the ships to crash in the city, and that caused around 150,000 deaths, as well as 400,000 wounded civilians.

Plus my soilders are highly trained and well armed. They have been trained in all types of weather. (Ex. Snowing, Raining, etc.) Plus the Super Foxes can see for miles.

After the withdrawel of the Novion fleet, work effort of the Scimitar-al-ali Mosque was redoubled. The broken Minarets were quickly rebuilt and work progressed. All around the Mosque thousands of young Muslim men milled about waiting to be inducted in the Jihadi army. Imam's shouted the orders that a Jihad had begun, the infidels must be destroyed. Wirraway continued supplying the Al-Haqari's with 400 more M-1 A2 abrams, 100,000 X-8's, and 500 HMV's. The most important shipment was the HAWk-b SAM's and stingers. which would be able to counter TLS airships.

Wirraway also began sending frontline units to TLS.

the 3th, 4th, 5th, 6th and seventh Infantry divisions, fresh from the Concordiat colony of Rowanoke arrived. Each division has 25,000 men.

the 1st, 31st, 6th and 5th Armored divisions also arrived fieldling 500 M1-A2 MBTs each.

OOC: you never mentioned anything about destroying 90% of the city or wiping out most of its inhabitants, granted you destroyed the Mosque and I would need more time to re-build it. And even if you had destoyed 90% of the city the call for Jihad would have brought men in from sorrounding areas. I also think you take the Jihadi's too lightly, I stated that they had been trained by our advisors, which would mean that they werent a mass of ill-trained fanatcis, they were a decent, fairly proficient fighting force and i'll do my IC from that perspective.

BTW did you ignore the fact that i had over 400 aircraft in-country, it can be assumed that they joined the combat air patrol once fighitng broke out, I alos stated that the Jihadi's were armed with Hawk-b SAM's and Stingers. Your airships don't have impunity and I believe that a great more were destroyed than you posted, I mean how can an airship evade a missile?

There were alos Concordiat forces, a large number of them, in the battle, they would crush the Novions as they are tested veterans from the colonies.

You should edit your post accordingly.

I shall ally with the Legions of Time. I send them 100,000 well-trained Comatic footsoldiers, 150 Armored Comatic field tanks, and 10 Multirole Front-line fighter jets for backup. I also send them 200 million dollars for sufficient training of their own soldiers.

OOC: you never mentioned anything about destroying 90% of the city or wiping out most of its inhabitants, granted you destroyed the Mosque and I would need more time to re-build it. And even if you had destoyed 90% of the city the call for Jihad would have brought men in from sorrounding areas. I also think you take the Jihadi's too lightly, I stated that they had been trained by our advisors, which would mean that they werent a mass of ill-trained fanatcis, they were a decent, fairly proficient fighting force and i'll do my IC from that perspective.

BTW did you ignore the fact that i had over 400 aircraft in-country, it can be assumed that they joined the combat air patrol once fighitng broke out, I alos stated that the Jihadi's were armed with Hawk-b SAM's and Stingers. Your airships don't have impunity and I believe that a great more were destroyed than you posted, I mean how can an airship evade a missile?

There were alos Concordiat forces, a large number of them, in the battle, they would crush the Novions as they are tested veterans from the colonies.

As the rebuilding of the city continued and work on the Mosque kept progressing 20 men air-dropped into Pakistan from a low flying B-1 b Bomber. The men jumped about 10 miles outside of the Pakistani Border and para-sailed into the country.

Breaking News!

As of this very moment, the Leaders of the Al-Haqari tribe and the Novions are trying to broker an Anschluss, or a merger between both their countries. This is because both countries are very similar, (and really all of the tribes are at least 70% Muslim. With the exceptions of the S.K.U.Ls, because they are literally a godless war machine of terror) and because it would fit the best interest of the two clans to merge together.

It hasnt been finalized, but all hostilities have ceased. The new state will be called "The Free Holy Democratic Islamic Republic of Juntra"(or just the F.H.D.I.R.J). The Capital will be in the moderatly large city of Juntra( it has a population of around 700,000 people). This is because it is in a Disputed territory between the two nations, and because of its Historical Importance (it was the capital of the Guinoy Kingdom, which was one of the 4 Kingdoms that ruled the Lightning Star 700 years ago.)

In total, the combined might of the two countires will be:

70,000,000 Citizens(the total population of my country is now 140,000,000. On the naton page it says 478 million but my country hasnt fully recovered from the war.

Its armed forces number: 2.5 million Logistics people and 1,400,000 well trained and armed soldiers.

The two nations are also trying to include the Soldiers of Freedom, but they have just begun talks with them.

The S.K.U.L's, noticing that a giant conflict was about to erupt and that they were most likely on the losing side, have mysteriously vanished from TLS. They left behind some equipment and money so that the Fourth Reich would be well armed, but other than that nothing was left of them. The roar begins to cover the S.K.U.L. camp, as Terracostes swarm through the air, more awe-inspiring than the behemoth Airships (If I may say...), followed by tanks, dropships, fighters, troops, hovercraft, everything. The war had begun. In a line, Stoneman tanks slowed to a halt, as spikes slammed down into the pavement beneath them with ease, large metal feet pulling from the sides to stabalize each tank as the barrel of each 300mm sub-orbital cannon(this is the turreted weapon on the Stoneman, the also have two platforms on the side with 60mm chainguns on them, for covering fire) raise high toward the air. The tanks shudder, sinking into the pavement a few inches, despite the shocks and stabalizers, as the huge cannons each blow out a long trail of flame, the gargantuan shells already invisible in the distance. All across the SoF(Yes, I know they merged, but I don't want to list out the names) military sites and bases, the shells began to land, each with a large IDD(Implosion Detonation Device, basically a black-hole grenade. It works by having a charge inside an orb of Terakite{Another Sidenote, Terakite is a super-dense conglomerate I've made} that explodes, cracking the Terakite and allowing it to implode, making a short-lived black hole.) core, which ignited just after impact.

OOC: I have 50 of these tanks, which can shoot up to 12 shells each to simultaneously land. They will need to reload after those 12 shells though, I'm a reasonable guy. So, they're trying to conserve ammo on this, so I'll go easy and say each fires half a load, makings it 300 shells in total. They should take at least a few minutes to hit though. You might be able to knock them out of the sky, but all that will get you is a load of depleted uranium and Terakite shards raining down, which wouldn't be pretty. Your best bet is to try to knock it off course without shattering it.

OOC: Thats one of the more flagrant godmods I've seen in a while, well apart from Hataria, there is no way he can send 22 million odd troops the logistics force he needs would be alot more than 5 % of his population, but then again who needs logistics and other stuff like that, everyone knows soldiers don't need to eat or drink and ammunition and spare parts magically appear on the ground like in Quake.

Wirrawayan, "advisors," in New Karachi took the newly re-formed Jihadi armies, somewhat smaller this time, each numbering 250,000 troops and began preparing them for an assault on the 4th Reich, the time had come consolidate the alliance's gains, and help TLS move forward.
