I just created a Puppet nation and when I go to post it has all these updated features in it, but when I go back to my main nation its still the same underdeveloped post screen. Does anyone know how to upgrade the posting on older nations?

In your profile->options. It starts out with the enhanced editor as default, you must've changed it. Downside is that it takes ages to load, and the only good part about it is the obscure smilies, BBcode is simple enough to remember. I'd recommend against the enhanced (Guided mode) editor...
