The government is going to just 'turn a blind eye' while the killings go on. Because they are completely disgusted with mounting government losses in the campaign to retake all of Bir Gandus, it's just not worth the price they're paying.

Tyrandis National Intelligence Agency HQ, classified location

"Sir, as you know, the CMB has issued a threat to all nations promising terrorist attacks. Ooc: The RG is kept at a strength of 2-2.2 million, the SAAS is about 100,000 or so. And I said many are ex-army... Our army is 22+ million, so we have lots of veterans who are out for many reasons.
