-Crossmanian Sedna Colony

Above the small world small planet of Sedna a small Crossmanian shuttle made its way past the Crossmanian fleet patrolling the area around Sedna. The shuttle carried Cardinal DeVito, who had recently reclaimed power of the nation of Cherry Ridge.

As the shuttle landed several Crossmanian Marines stood waiting to escort the Cardinal to the meeting with the Emperor. This meeting would decide the fate of relations between Crossman and Cherry Ridge. It could lead to peace or it could lead to the continuation of the Cold War between the two nations that had been going on since the Betrayal, the conflict that erupted when Cherry Ridge turned on its allies and tried to instigate a war between Crossman Prime and Jac Franklin Elite. In the end both CP and JFE united and confronted Cherry Ridge. Since then tensions had been high.
The Cardinal stepped off the shuttle along with two of his aides. A marine halted them.
"I have orders from the Emperor that only the Cardinal may attend the meeting. Your aides must remain onboard the shuttle"
The Cardinal nodded, "Very well." He motioned to his aides to stay behind.
The aides looked at the Cardinal then at the marines' assault rifles. They decided it would be for the best to stay behind.
Just then the marines stepped aside as an Crossmanian officer walked across the landing pad, his boots thumping on the cold steel floor.
"Cardinal DeVito, I am Colonel Veers. The Emperor has asked that I escort you to the meeting room. Please follow me."
-Conference Hall, Sedna
Cardinal DeVito entered the room. It was not large, the walls were a dark grey, there was a small table in the center of the room, and a Crossmanian national flag draped on the back wall. Two Imperial Guards stood opposite each other at the doorway and 4 more stood in the room, one in each corner. The Emperor sat at the far end of the table, looking over some documents.
The Emperor looked up, "Ah, the infamous Cardinal DeVito, how nice of you to come. I'm quite pleased you have finally come to your senses and agreed to talk. Please have a seat. Please look over the agreement here on the table. I hope that you find it acceptable. I have added the conditions that you mentioned recently. Though I may have added a bit to it."
The United Imperium of Crossman, in order to stablize and reopen formal relations with the Catholic Cardinalatial See of Cherry Ridge, sets forth these requirements expected to be met by the of Cherry Ridge:
Article I.
--Section I.--
To ensure stability and peace the Catholic Cardinalatial See of Cherry Ridge must, at once, disband and dismantle its military space forces. Cherry Ridge may maintain a spaceborne unarmed merchant fleet, but any and all military vessels and or armed vessels will be prohibited.
--Section II.--
The only exception to Article I, Section I will be one armed starship for the purposes of transporting the Cardinal or leader of Cherry Ridge. This ship may not exceed the size class of Corvette. The use of any ship of Frigate or above is unacceptable and will be seen as a violation of this agreement.
--Section III.--
The of Catholic Cardinalatial See Cherry Ridge may keep its planet based military forces that consisting of land, sea, and air. These air forces may not be capable of leaving the planets atmosphere.
--Section IV.--
The Imperial Crossmanian Navy will conduct routine patrols in orbit above Cherry Ridge both to enforce this treaty and to protect Cherry Ridge from outside forces if needed. These patrols will not enter the atmosphere or Cherry Ridge airspace. These patrols also will not interfere with any satellites launched by Cherry Ridge, as long as they are not for military purposes, in which case they would be seen as a violation of this treaty.
Article II
--Section I.--
The Catholic Cardinalatial See of Cherry Ridge must turn control of its holdings on the planet Nexon Prime over to the Nomadic Peoples of The Lightning Star. Cherry Ridge's holdings on the second moon of Nexon Prime shall be turned over to the United Imperium of Crossman.
--Section II.--
The Catholic Cardinalatial See of Cherry Ridge is forbidden to establish foreign colonies on planets other than Earth. Any extraterrestrial colony established by Cherry Ridge will be annexed by the United Imperium of Crossman and its inhabitants arrested and returned to the Catholic Cardinalatial See of Cherry Ridge.
Article III
--Section I.--
If the Catholic Cardinalatial See of Cherry Ridge agrees to the terms stated above, the charges against Cardinal DeVito of Cherry Ridge for war crimes against the nations of Crossman Prime will be dropped. The Cardinal will still be branded as a traitor, but all charges against him will be dropped.
--Section II.--
If the Catholic Cardinalatial See of Cherry Ridge agrees to the terms stated above, the United Imperium of Crossman will agree to reopen formal siplomatic relations with the Catholic Cardinalatial See of Cherry Ridge hereby ending the Cold War between these two nations. The United Imperium of Crossman will also agree to cancel all plans for military action against Cherry Ridge in order to ensure peace.
Article IV.
--Section I.--
If the Catholic Cardinalatial See of Cherry Ridge in any way violates this agreement, the United Imperium of Crossman will either deal with the situation as mentioned in certain sections above or in a manner seen fit by the government of the United Imperium of Crossman.
The Emperor folded his hands in front of his chin and set his elbows down on the table, "So DeVito, what say you?"
