Folllowing his Election as the 4th high Chancellor, Chancellor Wendar promised a new democratic order in which the people would be given direct representation in Congress, and the right to elect those who represented them, the abolition of the laws laid down after the revolution known as the Laws of the revolution. These laws restricted things from the citizens like, the freedom of press, the free use of the internet, it also restricted citizens from leaving the country without permission from a government official, it restricted average citizens from speaking to foreigners, it banned the use of cameras, amoung other things. Also decreased Defence Spending, and increased Health and Education Spending. However the Government has not taken the appropriate steps to give the people what it promised them. Here outside the Chancellors Residency hundreds of protestors armed with signs and banners have been chanting for reform for 2 days. The Government has deployed some police to the area to monitor the crowd and to prevent escalation. The Chancellor is expected to adress the crowds tommorow evening. He has made no further comments.
