OOC: If you wish to join, please TG me. This will be a friendly tour to outline the future of this nation.

"I certainly hope this tour goes well; just wish I didn't have to be so uncomfortable around my guests."

Central Director Schultz fidgeted with his glasses as a parade of foreign delegations began to file slowly into the fourth floor conference room. Standing at only 1.75 meters he was one of the smaller members of the group, but he made sure to cast a favorable impression on his guests. Everything about his appearance was intentional and no detail was left unchecked; from the dark vertical pinstripe suit for the illusion of height to his watch which always carried a draconian, but necessary, homing device. Nodding slightly to his fellow Directors, Elliot made the long walk to the immense conference table at the head of the room.

The Grand Conference Room was a marvel; every centimeter of the four thousand square meter room was meticulously cleaned and polished for this occasion. On the sides of the room massive murals depicting the greatest events in Schultarian history: The Democratic Revolution, Kevem Haarvekord's Development of The University of Schultaria Prime, Reunification with Islandia Schultaria, and The Wondrous Spectacle of Contact Day were all painted in beautiful detail and inlayed with polished hardwood and stone. Soft lighting emanated from the oaken rafters hanging nearly three stories above the floor while the vaulted ceiling, designed to mimic the environment outside the building, projected a beautifully recreated sky overhead.

Making his way to the far end of the room, Elliot pulled his personal data pad from underneath his chair and began to oversee the details of the tour. Even though Eldaimovey was far larger than could be seen in even a week, he had to make sure that everyone's expressed wishes were granted in less than two days. As the Central Director was thumbing through the piles of electronic paperwork, he began to think to himself, "Let's see. Security clearance has been granted and all the necessary transportation has been arranged; now I just have to make sure that my guests are having a good time."

Securing his data pad, the Central Director proceeded towards the throng of guests.

"I hope that they are in a talkative mood, because I don't know exactly what I can say without revealing too much about the tour. Ah well, such is life."

Devon Hussev, the founder of the Sharina Space Agency, was awed at the large Eldaimovey building. He was impressed with Schultaria's effort and dedication to the mounment. He studied the paintings and murals for quite a while, trying to relish the historical stories being expressed by the patterns of color.

After all, history and memories must never be forgotten. They are invaluable education tools.

Devon took note of several diplomats and assorted people mingling around. He walked in long strides towards the assembled group. He straightened out his jade green uniform with golden cuffs and trimmings, then put on his best smile.

He began mingling around with several people, talking about his homeland, its people, history, and culture. Despite his rather tall height, standing at 2.04 meters tall, people were put at ease by his friendly chatter and attitude.

After some time, he spotted someone heading towards the group, dressed in a dark vertical pinstripe suit and wearing glasses.

OOC: I know you’re on the list Granzi but have you brought a delegate in? I might be able to kill two birds with one stone here and talk to you icly to ‘mingle’.

Either answer he gives S Prime I’ll get a mingling post up.

The Central Director's mood was pleasant, and his spirits were very high indeed. Approaching the mass of visitors, he made sure to be the ever gracious host; though he was normally uncomfortable about meeting new people, the Central Director was genuinely elated for the change of pace. Elliot, for the first time in ten years, truly felt confident about the future.

Bowing to his guests in typical Schultarian deference, the Central Director began to mix in with the large mass of people. While he exchanged pleasantries with some of the guests, Elliot noticed a rather personable fellow chatting with a fellow group of diplomats. "Hmmm, he must be from the Sharina delegation; looks like quite a nice guest," he thought, "Their government has been so gracious over the years; I do believe it's time to return the favor."

Excusing himself, he walked over to the Sharinan delegate and extended his hand in welcome. Despite the obvious differences in height, Elliot made no attempt to adjust or note his "deficiency". Instead, he smiled and cut straight to the formalities.

"You must me Mr. Hussev, an honor to make your acquaintance. I must say that it is quite refreshing to personally meet a representative from Sharina; even with the extensive contact between our two nations, remote conferencing always loses something in the translation. Thank you for your presence here."

Devon Hussev smiled at the gentleman in the dark vertical pinstripe suit.

"Director Elliot Schultz, I presume?"

Elliot nodded his head.

"Ah, I am mighty pleased to meet you. It is true that talking on television and such doesn't hold the magic and the spirit of actually interacting in person. Let us enjoy the moment."

Hussev extended his hand out to shake hands with Elliot. Elliot shook the hand, and smiled. He then spoke in a friendly voice.

"Mr. Hussev, have you been enjoying your stay here so far?"

Devon grinned. He extended out his right hand towards the paintings and murals. He turned his head back towards Elliot.

"Immensely. I truly do enjoy what I've seen so far. From what I can gather from these fine pieces of artwork, you place great emphasis on history and culture, which Sharina holds in high regard. My people believe that history and culture are invaluable tools because they do two things. History teaches, while culture makes each of us unique."

Several other people began drifting over to Devon and Elliot, either interested in meeting Elliot, or trying to overhear their exchange. Devon turned towards the approaching diplomats and emissaries.

"My friends, I would like to introduce this gentleman, Dr. Elliot Schultz."

OOC: Nah, this thread died due to no one responding, which is rather unfortunate. If you want to do a more personal conference at Eldaimovey, contact me so we can hammer out the details.
