Official Statement from Party Central Office:
To celebrate our great nation's population reaching over the 500 million mark, the Party has decided to change the full title of our great nation.
As of today, our nation shall be fully titled Der Volkische Democratik Republik auf Lasatania in memory of the German immigrants who helped shape our nation.
(OOC: They played a small part and German surnames are present in the nation..)
To celebrate this change and the growing population of our great nation, a parade shall take place in the capital, Korova, on September 4th - a day which is now to be called Nation Day and marked each year with a military parade through our capital.
We give our support to Our Great Leader and swear loyalty to the Path set out by Revolutionary Socialism. Hail Lasatania!
