The DDOO military is looking for someone to have a war-games with, so we can test out our new equipment.
We have new stealth fighter-bombers, stealth submergable battleships, a new satellite defense system, and new tank designs.
(The stealth battleship has several weak-points to counteract the obvious advantages that it has.)

Perhaps a planned invasion by sea, main invasion fleet coming into coastal radar range right before declaration of "war."
That could test my new battleships.
Some of your fleet would make it to shore, dismount the troops, and my planes, tanks, and 'mechs could try to drive you back into the ocean. You would also have the advantage of fire support from your navy.

About what tech are you? We're modern, and I try to keep my ships having at least somewhat realistic (No Doujin-esque ships in my fleets). I'll think about it, I'm not a big fan of mechs, although this will give me IC more experience attacking, since Callisdrun's military is geared primarily towards defense.

Perhaps we could make it a 3 on 4 wargame with 3 nations defending, and 4 attacking. (Probably my 2 allies would be the ones with the weakest navies.)
And this RP will probably start sometime around the Middle of Next Week (A lot of stuff going on right now at school, football games to go to, and reorganizing my military.) The reorganization of my military should be pretty close to complete, as I'm finishing up on the Navy.
And so y'all will know, I am future-tech.
And Callisdrun: My 'Mechs are more like the titans on C&C Tiberian Sun. They do have lasers, but no PPCs and such like on Mechwarrior. And they need tank and heavy infantry support, due to their seeming inability to accurately target small, fast-moving targets. It all balances out, I'm not a godmodder.

How about letting Terronian in on the war games, its amazing, my country has never had a war we we have deployed troops so, we need to give our soldiers some experiance. SO Sign Me UP

No problem. I'm modern tech, but there are several things about both my land and the people in it that would be considered godmoding if I didn't have weakness to balance it out. What's the climate of the area where the war games will be held?

Moleland is much stronger in attack. When I mention a unit, and will tell you it's armour strength and weapon poweer, topspeed etc. I wish to point out moleland has no navy at all, as it is an inland country. As this is a wargame, does that mean that a side can surrender, and no prisoners taken etc?

Sevastapol (Callisdrun?) My nation is on a hugh island. The average summer-time high temperature is 89F, with medium humidity. The average summer low temperature is 64F. In winter, the average high temperature is 29F. The average low temperature is 9F. The average amount of rainfall for Kolgujev is about 123 inches/year. There are coastal defense batteries every 100miles along our coastline, each consisting of 5 coastal guns, 2 SAM radars, 1 surface radar, and 10 SAM sites. The map of the country should be ready soon. And moleland: this is like a regular war, except no casualties are taken, and nothing gets destroyed. And you could probably contribute paratroopers and air superiority to the attackers. And if you have transports, you could probably be involved in another convoy owned by another attacking nation.

What season will the war games be in? (I'd prefer winter)

Okay, so is it like paintball, when if a troop is 'shot' they 'die' but all that happens is that they are removed from the 'war'? Okay I understand so we are really only fireing blanks then?

Night-time warfare and arctic warfare are the specialties of Callisdrun. Considering Callisdrun's weather, this is no surprise. Callisdrunian tactics often border on guerilla warfare. Attacking a beachhead will be new to Callisdrun, as almost all Callisdrun's wars have been defensive, and very few amphibious landings have been undertaken.

My nation has very little of a military but we are looking at creating a a military capable of defensive and offensive fighting. My nation has a large industry with much potential to create military weapons and vehicles in mass. my nation would like to be granted an observational capacity to these war games so that we could watch and ask any questions we feeel necessary to help create our new military. If this permission is granted there may be some bonuses in for the rest of you in the near future when the Home Hive's military industry becomes something of a reality.

I am looking to improve my military's fast strike and assault capabilities. They are well trained in holding territory, but I would like to experiment with new strategies for fast armoured assaults. So, if possible, I would prefer to be an attacker.

OK, it looks like we've got 8 nations participating in this. (I'm tired right now, so correct me if I'm wrong.)
On attack, I've got Resistencia, Callisdrun, Moleland, Exham
On defense, I've got Oologah, Alexzandrian Military, Terronian, Surburbia
How does early spring or late fall sound? (Early spring brings the hardest snows to the Island, and late fall brings the hard rains. Oologah troops excel in blind combat, and have extensive cold-weather gear on all equipment.)
And as soon as my scanner is up and running, I'll have a map of Oologah for all to view.
And the RP is set to begin on Thursday, September 9, 2004.
This will be the first true test of my battlemechs, stealth fighter-bombers, submarine-battleships, and my trimaran battleship.

That is correct ( i believe) 3 things though. Each side will need to a point a 'general'. IE, someone has lead each side. i nominate 'Callisdrun' as our leader. secondly, each nation needs to declare what they will be using in the game. Finally, each side needs to make tactics, so the map needs to appear before the 9th.

Sounds good. Either early spring or late fall sounds good. Anything besides summer, really. I'm not sure if I want to be "leader" of my team. I'll have to see what tactics the others want to use.

It seems im on the defending team, sounds good, cant wait for the war games, um please PM me when they start al right Oolagah. Terronian exceeds in mostly air combat, as the airforce is the biggest branch of the military. Also seeing as each side needs a general, can we nominate one and see if others want them, or will Oolagah choose, as there is a General I would like to nominate.

D'oh! I can wait. I'll be the leader of our side if no else wants to!

And I've got to go down to MEPS in OKC Monday to stand in front of the Army Review Board to make sure that I'm within everything I need to be to be in DEP.

I heard on the radio this morning, that children between 9 and 13 were surveyed because they were part of the 'junk food' generation. Anyway some them didn't know what a pear was or looked like, and most of them didn't know how to peel an orange or a bananna!

I sent you those, though. I sent you a list of all the fleets, land divisions and air squadrons that would be involved/available.

And that tidbit about the junk food generation is very sad.

I telegrammed you with pretty exact numbers. Right down the the numbers of ships in my fleet (of course I didn't include how many men, that's irrelevant for naval warfare) and down to the last division on land.
