The Southern edge of the great Crown Forest, stretching over 140 miles before curving up into the border of Wolsnaion it was one of the last holdovers from the splitting of the two nation/corporations. This huge untouched forest had been a major spot of contention as the two split. The border through there proved to be much contested. By creating a vast reserve war was avoided. The Forest covered almost 20,000 square miles. It had also been invaded. The Order of Capitolista had landed and begun despoiling the land. Repeated diplomatic attempts had proved fruitless. How ever, being a wise nation, both Voderlund and Wolsnaion had put their forces on alert, and after several days of futile negotiations, the military had been ordered to strike. Massed along the edge of the Forest were 40 Air Superiority wings, 40 Air Expeditionary Forces, 40 Armored Calvary Regiments, 40 Mechanized Regiments, 300 Armored Infantry Regiments, and 100 Artillery Regiments, all of Winfield Scott Hancock’s IX Corps. Also present were 380,000 Reserve Infantry, 3200 F-3s, 1400 F/A-2s, and 1600 B-4s, all form the Home Guard, and under the Command of the renowned Major General Jess Lee. At sea, Admiral Farragut was in command of 24 BCVs, 72 Cruisers, 144 Destroyers, 480 Frigates, and 900 Escorts. Embarked on the BCVs were 1,536 F-3s, 1536 F/A-2s, 288 E-6s, 480 KC-6s.

Angered by the invasion of the buffer that had kept the peace for many years and agreeing with its ally Voderlund; Wolsnaion geared up for war. Half of the Wolsnaion military has been sent to the border awaiting word that the pleas for a peaceful solution have failed and that force must use force. The nation angered by the ruining of the land that so many had enjoyed as one of the few places left where nature still lived for the most part untouched. They sought to purge the land of the invades so that nature could return in time to the way it was. At the same time the thriving pizza industry geared up “dispose of the bodies of Wolsnaions fallen enemies in the most profitable way possible as pizza toppings for sale to the customers in Voderlund.
The army of Wolsnaion now waits for the command to strike. Under the command of Field marshal Kain Mark

24 hours came and went. At exactly 0100 hours the next morning, 31 hours and 11 minutes, 3 seconds after the passing of the deadline, Major General Hancock, in a synchronized signal with Field marshal Kain Mark began the attack. Front lines, strict orders had been given out against smoking, or showing any light. Command Sergeant Mendozes watched the first salvo shoot of from the reavers far behind the lines on his IVIS. A second and a third salvo rocketed into the sky. Mendozes counted off 4 minutes 30 seconds from the last shot and flicked his lighter on. As he stood there with his back to the enemy, a young PFC said “Sarge, were not allowed to smoke.” Mendozes said almost disgustedly, “The light won’t tell those poor bastards a damn thing.” As the first of the rounds exploded behind him, the standard rounds penetrating any buildings and bunkers and sending up great gouts of earth, in 28,800 places, and 57,600 firecracker anti-personnel rounds went off hammering into the people in the Forest.

With the signal received the command to attack was given by Field Marshal Mark. This is what I trained for but I never expected to have to fight here, thought Corporal Vincent Leas of the of the 2nd regiment of the 52nd Razorbacks division of the Wolsnaion Army. The Razorbacks had often trained these same forests perfecting their skills at unconventional warfare, but very few ever expected to be fight a real war in them. But now Leas put those thoughts out of his mind and focused on moving quickly and quietly; hoping that between the Voderlund bombardment and the attacks by Wolsnaion’s three Silverback Divisions, and two Diamondback Divisions that enemy will be too busy to notice his and other Razorback units slip past their lines to make no place safe for the enemies of Wolsnaion.

En Masse, the peoples of Capitolista landed on the southern shores of Madagascar. Armed, and ready to fight, the Capitolistites stormed the beaches, only to find that their enemies were off somewhere else.

Sgt. Woodreoff's face was in total confusion.
"Its obvious that if we were, in fact, to invade, and since the simplest water route from where we started, Earth2, was from the United Kingdom (Kriegorgrad), we would attack from our route that circled around cape horn from up and under where the Capitolistites had regrouped after the expeditionary group that was sent to Dominican Republic/Haiti returned."

The people had hungered for blood, and assured that their almighty god would smite the infidels, they walked onto the virgin beaches, and rushed violently toward the residences of the occupants of the island.

A scout reported "There's firefights that set the sky ablaze near the supposed borders. 35 of the 40 scouts in the scout squadron had died from the loose fire, but what had happened? Why are they aiming recklessly into the forest? Fire rained, but not directly on us. We are flabbergastered to exactly what had happened."

The questionable warnings did not make the Generals flinch. They were too confident and too unquestionably religious to forsee the great chalenges ahead.

OOC: Ummm, Capitolista is made up of myself and all my friends from school and model UN and at least I have no idea how this whole war thing knows, but Tony (a.k.a. Hoogenband) might have some insight into how this works. Now, I don't know exactly how this is going to work, but i did the math and Capitolista has more money in Defense spending than Wolfnasion, Cerubrus, and the calculated 23.7% of military spending that Voderund has which is his landmass in Madagascar over total landmass of actual claims in Eritrea, Ethiopea, and Somalia. And I have no idea what border Wolfnasion is talking about because a "buffer" is between two countries and Madagascar is an island thus the only buffers are between the three countries that are there and we attacked the south because thats the most geographically obvious place to meet because if you read the story, you would see that there were 3 groups and the longest journey would be from Haiti to Madagascar so the quickest place would be to meet under Madagascar.
Actually, I don't really care to RP it because then I would have to make up stupid names for my troop batalions and such and actully RP it correctly as you guys already have done, but I would then need a few days to set it all up (I also have a life in conjunction with Nationstates and I should research HOW to RP it so I don't seem like a Godmodding Fag, so it would actually take a while to set up my M$ excell so yeah) and take heed that the population growth of Capitolista is very high because of the sheer number of States in it so yeah. Anyhow, write back if you REALLY want to RP it even though it will be stupid caus' neither side will want to loose and then to keep up weapon supplies we will either be creative in the ways that we create our weapons and troops and then if you want to be realistic about it, I have the morale and monetary advantages and I could try to rally Order of Capitolistite worshippers and fight some sort of Crusade and Holy war, but also take into consideration that if you fight, your land claims will be weak in your mostly landlocked claims in africa and Greenmanbry and GnOoLoCoPeLep might be happy to take a piece of your generous land amounts while you're fighting. And, your nonexistence in the maps only shows that Yerffej thought your claims were much too big to be feasable anyways, especially how you have 20x the amount of land that your two allies that get 3/8ths of your land and have double your population put together, so I might not bother and just start writing the Order of Capitolista with Zack and Tony and myself, and not give a damn. So, just tell me what you want and thou shall recieve.

Ok, the math has been decided.

Capitolista as of September 1st
471,732,977,712.08 Defense Funding Strong

W whatever country
69,663,247,594.98
And Volderlund at 23.7% if forces are equally distributed among land masses because Madagascar only constitutes 23.7% of total land holdings
72,339,300,000.00

Your forces are paltry to ours and you lost, whatever the scenario. I will afford no more time to this foolishness because you lost. Bye.

Look at the top of the sheet. I just dropped enough ordanance on your nation, and by that I mean infinite hoarding to kill over 40 million people. I Pearl Harbored you. Respond by Role Playing. You started out by doing that, I responded, now please keep with it. Roleplay your casualties, and then what your doing with your forces. And no, you don't get to speak as a region. One nation at a time.
Try this thread for some great guides.

OOC:OK, just give me some time. I'm waiting for a response from MIT on something and I'm a tad preoccupied. But for the record, explain in simple terms what you already did. From what I gather, you were fighting in the north, whereas it would make the most sense for me to attack from the south where the most efficient rondevous point would be for the origionally split-up groups of travellers. And then there's the question of where exactly I am and what kind of attack i am in.

Is you firing at me through the forest meaning that I've already invaded or something? I think I am responsible for roleplaying where i am.

And also, I was on vacation for the last few days so you'll have to excuse my absence, and the fact that you delivered the ultimatum, so therefore you can not have magically "Pearl Harbored" me because I would have known about your imminent attack, and the supposed point of Pearl Harbor is that it was complete by the element of surprise.

Oh, and I'll need some time to clue in ALL the people in the region, because there are many of my MUN friends that might just want to use the forums to go to "Forum Boredom" and talk about masturbation and crap, so you should expect that I can probably get tony and zack and maybe maria to RP, but its pretty iffy on the others.

So, lets slow it down and maybe roleplay from the pre-ultimatum stages of the war.

Capitolistites, having no idea what is going on as its supposed enemy that may or may not have land claims in what may or may not be where the new Capitolistite homeland is, issue the "WTF ceasefire" which would allow diplomatic, non-tentioned discussion between supposedly warring parties about the terms on which this war which may or may not ever exist will be waged. Capitolistites, in confusion about what the "truth" actually is, wait diligently for a logical response to make sense of it all.
