I have my ignore ready, however I will gve him a single good chance.

Though If the corvettes are 20km long etc (especially as there are so many of them infa t they are going to have to be pretty small to be affordable in that numbers), then its already been fired. It will be a single rock which has ignore painted on, it is thrown by the smallest ship in the fleet an always hits.

Otherwise, I have my entire fleet, system defense platforms and so on.

That means 2 Overlord class battleships ( battleships use an A class hull which is about 1800m long) 2 Armageddon class battleships and 1 Orange class.

Then there are 4 Super carriers and 2 grand cruisers (each 1000m long as thry use B class hulls)

I then have about 16 cruisers each about 800m long.

20 light cruisers and
10 loaded light carriers (each with 80 small craft) these Use a D class hull about 500m long

I then have 40 frigates each about
300m long

the five heavy destroyers are 250m

the 60 destroyers are 200,m long

the corvettes are rather cute 100m long
there are about 70 of these, each with a heavy fighter

there are 1800 odd heavy fighters flying loose
2000 light fighters and 500 bombers.

THey move to intercept seph's forces and slow down waiting for seph to come in range. The fighters all staying near the larger vessels, the corvettes and bombers are at the back of the fleet for now. This will become apparent why later... When seph approaches they will perform their manoever.

They are huddled near an omega class station which mounts 4 O class lasers, its not actually that big but it also mounts about 18 G class lasers, its basically an immobile battleship. and it sits just ahead of the fleet.

oh, and he resides in my region, which is why he knows me.

If i can cripple his navy, then I might just teach him what intruding on my system means in Orange.

[OOC]: You realise that even if he DOES accept damage, chances are he won't care, and in about a day, his fleet will be magically repaired, ready to continue looking for a nation's capital.

Like I said. A chance. the reason he gets a chance from so may people, is becasue as individuals, people are genrally good, and maybe one day he will get it right. And id rather not deny him the chance if it happens to be today.

As the Seph fleet came in torpedo rannge and fired their own torpedos, the entire fleet (which i undersetmimated, I was going from memeory, but Loets just say that i have some super capital ships and a few smaller ones flying round the side of your fleet now at a VERY safe distance.) Lets see, 40 destroyers, 2 heavy destroyer, thats 92 torpedos, then add the frigates with four each, so 160 there,10 light cruisers with 8 each so 80 more there, cruisers carry 10 each, as do grand cruisers, so 120 and the battelships muster about 30 between them, theres also about 10 of those packing nuclear warheads instead of the standard load.

THe Seph slavo fired simelteaneously, several fighters ventured out and begna firing, now with two nukes (im assuming they are pretty big) and two wings of heavy fighters (10 per wing) sent to stop them and then a lot of small msiles sent out to shoot them down. lets say they arent doing any damage to me. As they werent detonated anywhere near my main fleet. There might be a small explosion, so Ive lost a couple of unlucky fighters who were too close, but the rest have pretty goods sheilding for theri size and escape back to the main fleet.

so about 470 torpedos and also several capital class anti shipping missiles (only frigates and largeer ships have tghem, so more like 200)

OOC: As CAMIII found my defewnses are pretty good. Im just glad we are fighting a friendly war (one we pre planned)

the main fleet begins moving at this point straight for the seph battle fleet and firing pretty much as they come into range, hoping to take advantage of the confusion of the torpedo attack and misile strike and begins firing into the edges of the fleet attemtping to envelope the fleet, while the rest of the orange navy powers up weapons and heads in.

The actual laser attack will be left for now as it happens simelteanoeusly with Seph's

OOC: iminformed that the demons are actually HUGE space nukes, but i did remove them as they approached our fleet, which is trying to envelope the seph fleet and surround it. And therefore fairly thinly spread right now. The nukes are still only going to cost me both wings of fighters if they do go off. Plus one will probably remove the other for me....

Anyway ....IC:

as the fleet approached they also began firing lasers and anti shipping misiles (we are talking about 1200KG plamsa warheads, so like a tomahawk but better at penetrating armour and sheilds)

the corvettes are nimble and defended by a fighter in their blind spot, they broke off for the enemy corvettes along with 600 of the heavy fighters (im guessing your corvettes are a bit smaller than mine in those numbers...) (and mine are only 18000 tonnes) they have one fast firing and G class laser. (it can destroy 3 metres of cubic metal in one hit, but that assumes it is straight edged and unsheilded of course) and two anti fighter/anti misile misile units

As they clsoed the light fighters vbroke off ina swarm with 500 bombers swarming over the largets seph vessels, one by one, like locusts, attamepting to clear the fighter defenses and then running over and bombing the vessels. While the armageddon class fires its large (3mil ton inculding reactors and cooling and so about half the ship) at the targets as the swarm leaves it.

What kind of air cover do you have? On your largest vessels.

the remianng heavy and light fighters waited for large amounts of seph fighter activity ready to remove it staying clsoe to the fleet until then.

the destroyer and frigate classes forming groups of 3 and 5 respectively and also begin attacking the intermediate vessels, attempting to surround the vessels and attack from all sides, the light cruisers forming teams of three and doing the same. The battleships and cruisers, as well as the grand cruiser are firing their weapons at the battle ships, there are 10 cruisers, 2 grand cruisers and 3 battleships doing so. these are also launching the anti shipping missiles, 4 each, making 32 missiles for the front two battleships (so as to concentrate on a couple of targets and overwhelm their defenses.

Each destroyer has two G class lasers, the frigates have a single O class laserand 2 g class. the light cruisers have 3 and 6 G class the cruisers have 12 G class and 4 O class. The grand cruiser has 6 O class and 12 G clas and the battleships have 8 O class and 36 G class lasers (!)

Damage for the torpedo salvo? I posted mine for yours. I'll give you a hint. lasers will do damage when you fire and so would have the other weapons if you had used them in a more concentrated fasion.

IC: The fleet headed off from Prospero, at least 500 ships. Some ships were getting repairs, and the others were protecting the planet. It would be some time before they got to the planet. The transports, holding 8 Regiments (5,804,000) were huddled in the middle of the other ships.

Ive fired, youve taken casuatlies but i have no idea what weapons are going for what targets.

I assume this is from my torpedos as the fighters and bombers would draw your fighters and bombers off and your lasers would fire with mine.

Also It can be assumed that my fleet is flying round yours in circles of varying angles unless you want to try to do something to react.

It does mean that only certain parts of your fleet can shoot at any time

Like i said arre you happy with this? Or do you want to try some manoever to escape it?

Our fleets are exchaning shots, but what are you firing? I want to post some damage but i have no idea what your fleet is capable of. (ive tried to explain mine for you so you know what i can do and how much damage your ships will take)

IC: the main fleet continued enveloping seph's fleet. While the rest of the navy tunred about and accelerated towards the battle. (OOC:not doing anything yet, but im giving you time to react, right now im giving you an opportunity to attempt to react, you might not want to, but otherwise im just using tactics and formations to reduce your effectiveness)

the offer of peace unconditionally presently stands seph, but it may change if you dont back down quickly. Except I am adding that your ships will stay at least 5 hours travel from my system at any time, unless permission is expressively given. That would be all id want. Im not about to ravage your planet or any such, i just want to end this pointless war before too much blood is spilled. You have seen our weapons and if you dont soon, you will see our tactics.

I will respond to your attacks but i wont declare any casualties til you expalin what yours were from and post casualites from ALL my attacks.

Notquiteaplace ships can spot claoked vessels, as they still give off an energy emission. We spend about $1 trillion reasearching that. THough our weapons are less accurate against cloaked vessels.

Are you moving or just firing? What are you shooting at and what are your hades lasers like? How powerful.

The Fleet had been waiting for at least 20 minutes before they got the order to attack. The ships moved to within range of there bombard missiles, their first target: Sephron.
"Open fire on the orbital stations!"
"Aye captin."
The ships fired their first payload at the surrounding stations, destroying them before they could react. They then procceded to orbitally bombard the planet, missles streaking through the skys slamming into the ground, buildings and people.
Keep this up and keep an eye out for enemy ships!

its porbably well that you surrendered, seph, im not about to belive you have whole batteries of weapons that are lasers that kill planets. One would be a remarkable acheivement. A planet killer isnt a toy its tsomething that takes years to build and strpis so many reasources that you wont have much else of anything left. And thats for ONE guN!

The orange fleet demands your conditions are met now. Its a good thing you didnt do anything else there, as I RP'd penning your fleet in and having them all in an enclosed space, with that planet killer firing off might have hit one of your ships, anc probably killed about most of your and my fleets.

Im assuming you did kill a few ships with your weapons

and i killed a few with my second salvo, but as I sucessfully used some nasty tactical stuff and you didnt defend against my fighters or other stuff, they will be quite light.

Lets see.

I lost 8 corvettes hunting your fighters. 2 destroyers to whatever fire you sent out, along with 2 frigates and a light cruiser.

Several of my ships now require a few months in orbit being repaired.

My fleet can afforc to replace itself every 10 years if need be, and i havent repaired it one in my 100year existance and have lost a small amount (and damaged a bit more) so I can assume repairs will be done fairly quickly.

In the mean time, your ships are to secure permission to enter my system.

Merchant ships of a small enough size will be give them. All other trades between us will happen in neutral territory under the supervision of some of may navy, you may provide no more than 2 smaller capital ships (below 100000 tonnes, so corvettes ) and 10 fighters as an escort for this, any more will be perceived as an act of war.

We will establish a free trading port there and it will be stationed by a simular number of my ships. Theses escorts of yours may be stationed there if you wish.

Other nations may bring other forces to trade with no restrictions and trade there. This port will be ready in six months.

That is all.

Me too, especially as im at war with him. But Im not moaning. Infact im going to write some sort of thanks into the peace treaty i will offer him when we finsih the cirrent battle.

We have dispatched a messenger already with this treaty but it wont arrive for a while yet.
