The Armed republic of Winter-een-Mas has raided one of Xavonias largest cities. 17 Wem (Winter-een-Mas) tanks entered Xavoinias territory last night bombarding it constantly, whilst several infantry units charged in on the flanks. The city was reletivly unprotected and suffered major civillian casualties with 200 dead found already and there are believed to be many more in the rubble. The Government house located in the city was sacked and burnt to the ground. Xavonia promises swit and powerful retaliation to Winter-een-Mas's treathory.

Two of Xavionias Ex-Que Fighter Jets roared across the small expanse of water between Xavionia and Winter-een-mas. 'This is Falcon One signing in' one of the co-pilots said into the comlink. 'Roger that' crackled the response. A similer respose was given from the other jet. 'You are twenty miles of target and approaching at Four Hundred miles per hour'. 'Target in your sites in four, three, two, one FIRE!'. Four Air to Ground classed missles were propelled foward as the two Ex-Que's pulled up and flew back into Xavionian airspace. The Missles flew through one of Winter-een-mas's border cities. A citizen screamed and many followed as the Ministry Hall was blown two hundred feet into the sky.


Xavionia had its revenge.

It was a warm night soon to be warmer when the land was staind with blood.
The WEM officer looked to his side and saw the masses of infantry now quietly running into a Xavonian City. He also knew at that moment 4 special forces teams were moving to destroy an air field :sniper: :mp5: . HE laughed as he heard the screams as all the buildings were set alight. This town wasnt like the first it was heavily defended.

The Next day

Battle still rages in the streets of Ternian as Winter-een-Mas troops thunder in and its tanks bombard the buildings. The Winter-eenians have taken pretty much total control of the city.

Xavier Valcolsan, Former Captain General of Anniarthium looked down at the army under his control. He would not like to call himself a turncoat, just a smart person. When the xavionians invaded all he did was walk over to them. Hey, He was a mercenary general after all.But now an insignifigent little nation was attacking his (new) Nation. He was a bit annoyed. The com-link broke his chain of thought. 'We've managed to flank the enemy Cpt'n' the com-link crackled. Good, thought Xavier, The Ninja Elites where attackin behind enemy lines. Time to seize the moment. 'All units foward! Brake the stranglehold on Ternian. GET OUR CITY BACK!' he shouted into the com-link. A string of afermatives followed. Seize the moment indeed.

Screams went up from the officer tents of the Winter-een-masans. Tank fire echoed through the valley of Tesendar that Ternien was in. The Xavionians surged foward through the darkness. 'Fire!' rippled through the ranks of mortar teams and Hell rained down from the sky.

Ethen looked around him. It was hell morters were dropping everywhere bullets were flying and his men were dying.
" We could use some back up!" he shouted in his comlink
"Will do"
At that he could see his tanks rumbling forward to privide support to the small amout in infantry he had pinned down.
"Oi gimmie some air support ASAP" he souted into the comlink "Every thing here is just FUBAR"
"Its already on its way."
The bombarding continued and Ethen was shocked at how ready the Xavonians were to destroy the own city. Then when it looked like all was lost and he was about to sound a retreat the air support came."
"TAKE COVER" he shouted
The explosion was mighty and may of his own men were killed in the blast but it eradicated all of the xavonian heavy armour and a large majority of their infantry.
"PUSH FORWARD MEN" was the last thing he said before a sniper bullet buried itself in his head. :headbang: :sniper:

No1 cares about technicalities

OOC: On the contrary, a great many people here care about technicalities. As you will find out, if you ever go to war with any of the vets.

'WE CAN'T KEEP IT-' 'GET REINFORCEME-' and the comlink shut off. 'Crap!' shouted Xavier. A luitenent walked into the tent. 'Sir, Divar's legion has arrived!' he said in a rush. 'Good, get them set up and down to reiforce our guys in the city, quick'. At that moment a tank shell flew through the tent ripping the luitenents inner organs out. 'Crap!'

Cpt Davar shut off is online link-up to one of Xavier's Luitenents. 'Fopur!' he shouted. Davar's messenger ran into the tent. 'Get everyone up and moving. Xaviers' lot are taking heavy fire and need reinforcing' he told the boy. Fopur ran through the flap. Davar walked out into the morning sunlight and quoted Xavionian history ' "And in the glory of morning light they went forth and conquered" '. He smiled smuggly to himself as a convoy of over 30 V-3 mobile rocket launchers rolled past followed by about 100 of his pride and joy: Xavionias A-class Charger Strike Tanks.

"Foward" motioned Cesil. The sniper squad moved foward under cover of the trees on the side of the valley. They started up the hill towards a vantage point already marked out for snipers. They arrived just inside time.

The Winter-een-masian general walked out of the command tent to check the change of guard. He arrived at the post and talked to the commanding officer. As they started to laugh as the commanders head turned into a red cloud of blood. :sniper:

'Oh Damn' thought Captain Thornton Thornyness 'we are f**ked.'

He had just walked into a tent full of dead officers then he shouted into his comlink
"Keep bombarding the position." then he noticed alot of men on the hill."Mortar teams bombard the hill to the East dont stop until my command.

Thornton gathered a team of his best men and started for the hill. About Fifteen minutes later they reached the hill.
Thortons crew containd two snipers: Rodregz and Johnson, and a heavy weapons expert: Wilson. They really were the best.
Moving silently in the woods on the hill Thornton took out his micro uzi and his knife which he attached to his fingers and laughed.

'Afetr what has been a dreadful week in Xavionian history with Winter-een-mas attacking our underfended border, there has been a rebel uprising near the area of the battle' said news reporter Linda Mc Hanniy. 'The rebels, calling themselves "The Esciunters" after the Xavionian god of Freedom, have raided a military factory with surpring brutality.' 'They raided the base in the dead of night using homemade bombs. Once they reached the weaponary it was over with the rebel raid force numbering over 500 people.' 'S**t!' said Xavier shutting off the T.V. He swung around to the other commander,Cpt Davar , and said 'What the hell do we do now?'



The mighty, once Xavionian now Esciunter, battle tanks roled up onto the open cliff ledge looking down upon the battle of Terian. The commander walked out to the edge and laghed out loud. Freedom, freedom would be theirs. He signaled to the drivers and walked back as the bombardmeant began.

"Well wats this?" said Thornton as he looked apon the sight of the mighty Xavonian battle tanks rolled up the back of the hill.
"this isnt good, wait whats that they are firing on there own men. Hmm the perfect distraction."
He told the men the plan and he sneaked up on a Xavonian sniper and put the knife through his back.
he then silently trotted hid behind a bush shouting (because of the noise from the mortars) into his comlink "Hold Fire" then when the bombs stopped he gave the signal and his snipers took out all the xavonian ones and then his heavy weapons man let hell out covering Thornton as he sprinted, firing his micro uzi, into the midest of Xavonian V3 mobile rocket truks every time he pased one he placed a demo charge on them then when he finnally ran out of the demo charges he ran as fast as he could down the hill telling his men to pull back and into his comlink for his other men in the city to run like hell. He had just made it into down the hill and he jumped into a mortar crater and took cover as the Charges went off.

The explosion was enormous the whole hill seemed to lift from the ground for a split second then everything collapsed, Thorntons felt he was deaf for a few seconds but then his hearning came back and he ran into the city.

Demo charges went off knocking out all of the Xavionian artilliry. "S**T! MOTHER F**KERS' Xavier shouted pegging his radio at the ground. 'We're F**KED now guys!' he shouted to the scout team he had taken out to the city. He continued cursing under his breath. Slowly he leant down and picked up the radio. 'Base, whats the situation up there?' ' Nothing much sir onl- what the f**k is that?' ' Oh crap Apc's, lots of them I'm checki- Arggghhh!' and the radio cut off. Xavier spun round and threw the radio as far out into the woods as he could. They broke cover from the woods running towards the city. Some of the men were obviously edgy. 'Come on guys, lets kick some ass in the town, show them how hard core we can get' he said shoving 2 magasines into his Ak 47 so it could run off both. So, he thought, who cares if it gets jammed. They all had smiles on their faces as they ran into the outskirts of the city.

A Winter-een-masian soldier was leaning up against the wall of a building. Someone tapped him on the shoulder and he spun around. Crap, he thought, as Xavier punched his lights out.

"EVACUATE THE CITY" shouted Thornton, "GRAB YOUR GUNS AND GO"
then he nelt down and finnished plantin the c4 an amout of which could destroy nearly the entire city.

He set the time to 8 mins

Xavier ran into one of the buildings. He ripped of a C4 belt and stuck it against a wall setting the time. 'Go!' he said running out and his team followed. We may have nothing left, he thought, but we're going out with a bang. He split the team up and ran into another building repating the process. On his way out he failed to notice another time bomb stuck to the wall beside the door. 'Run!' he shouted and ran towards the edge of the city. He ran past some startled Winter-een-masian soldiers and whipped his Ak round knocking them down with a spray of bullets. 'Almost ther-' His words were stopped and drowned out as an string of explosions went through the city followed by a huge explosion which propelled him foward down a road.

Xavier lifted his head and found that his entire body stung. He looked around and back towards the city, or what once was a city, now just a hole in the ground debris littred the ground around him. S**t, he thought before slipping back into unconsciousness.

Thornton just slipped back into conciousness. He looked at was once the city but now just a hole i the groound and alot of rubble. Then he saw something move. It was a Xavonian officer he watched as he struggled to his feet, Thornton did the same as he noticed this man wasnt armed. He Swung out his uzi and pulled the trigger but all he heard was a few clicks, he was out of ammo. By now the Xavonian officer as aware of his presence and bent down to pick up a large knife located on the ground. They got into a battle stance and charged at each other.

Thornton was faster and stronger and taller than the Xavonian but the little guy could almost predict what Thornton was going to do. The blade on Thorntons finger finally made a hit slicing the Xavonians thigh but the Xavonian managed to get a slice at Thorntons calf as he fell. They both collapsed in a heap on the ground.

Then came a rumbling sound. A rebel tank just lumbered through the rubble of the town and then stopped around 100 metres from Thornton. Thornton gathering all the strength he could got up and ran towards the tank. He climbed up it (with a terrible struggle) and then opened the lid jumped inside and stapped the crew. he placed a grenade inside the tank and got as far away as possible. He hten saw a Xavonian battle bike come it was no doubt just a scout sent to chek out what was going on. Thornton hailed it down and wheen the driver stopped he put a knif through his neck. Thornton stole the bike and rode into Winter-een-Mas territory, leaving behind the Xavonian.

Xavier glared at the rider dissapearing off into the distance and walked over to the bikers body and stole the auto rifle clutched in his dead hands. Well now im stuck, he thought.

"Sir, Sir we have just had a message that the Xavonians want peace."
"Fine. Send an emmisenary to Xavonia city and well arrange a treaty.

Xavier limped through the sentries of his base as the stared on with shock.
Xavier glared at them all and a captain ran over to him. 'S-sir, your alive?' he spluttered. 'No S**t!' he spat at the captain and walked into the commanders tent, his tent, he reminded himself. He pushed the tent flap open and said 'Get the f**k out of my chair!' to Cpt. Davar who was sitting loooking at him with a comical expression on his face. The cigar he was smoking fell out of his mouth and hit the table. He fell on to the ground mouth still dropped open stupidly.

"Thornton. Thornton get down here ASAP." came Major General Kursks voice through the com link.
"Yes, sir" he replied
Thornton painfully got out of bed and fell on the ground forgetting he ad just had his calf slashed. Grabbing his crutches he limped to the generals war room.

"Thornton you are going on a peace mission it will be held in the rubble of Terien."
"will there be others with me sir?"
"Yes you can choose your own squad of 20 people to tag along but there shouldnt be any violence."

The Meating was boring just talking about how much stronger the two nations would be if they worked together. When they were asked to shake hands with each other Thornton twitched. The man he had to shake hads with was the Xavionian officer.

Xavier stood stock still as the man he was to assing a treaty with was the very same he had fought in the valley. His hand automatically moved to his thigh where he had an unhealed wound that this man had dealt. 'Good to finally meet you' Xavier said with forced kindness. The other man muttered a similar response and shook his hand. 'So, whats this I hear about a peace treaty?' Xavier said eyes swiveling to where Cpt. Davar sat. Davar looked down and suddenly found something very interesting to do with his foot in the dirt.
