Breaking news from the millitary headquarters in Aisetaselanau's millitary city Quemiose today. The minister of defense has released a statement regarding the research and subsequent creation of a new, resilliant nerve agent, named VX34.

"Our development of this new super-weapon is nearly complete," said the minister in a press release. "This chemical works in much the same way as original VX poison gas, however it is much more resilliant. This chemical will not break down until well over 100,000 degrees Celsius, and therefore is impervious to napalm and all incindiary devices."

This press release came on the heels of a new budget anouncement for this year, which increased defense spending a further 1 billion aiseus.

VX34 will be given to Aisetaselanau's closest neighbour, Enisumentela, and to any countries wishing to purchase said weapon. Costs were not released.

Release to Nations: If seen fit by the millitary councils of both Aisetaselanau and Enisumentela, Aisetaselanau will sell the forumula to any nations willing to pay 376 million aiseus ($2.12 American = 1 aiseu).

Specific effects of toxic gas: Nerve Agent. 10 mg human fatality threshhold (ingestion, skin absorption), 6 mg human fatality threshhold (airborn vapour). Death from loss of diaphragm control, resulting in hypoxia and asphixiation.
Physical characteristics (liquid): Texture and feel of high-grade motor oil, with low viscosity, and low volatility. Greenish colour.
Physical characteristics (gassious): Light green gas until displaced.
Cannot be incinerated.

Actually, yes. It's a quite efficient weapon for killing large number of people at once.

Oh, and the guy dying in the chamber at the beginning is not an acurate depiction of death by VX poisoning.

While we respect your development of this chemical weapon, any use of it against Seryown or any of its allies will merit release of concentrated botulin toxin or other chemical weapons. If you catch us in a bad mood, wea might also break a vial of Smallpox over someone important's head. But this isn't a threat, it's just a warning.

We will not attack nor use such a weapon against any country unless aggressive or imperialistic advances are made against Enisumentela or any of her allies.

I feel that this gas is bit. . .strong. . .for a country your size. I do not object to it's effexts, but perhaps it requires elaborate safety measures to store, making large stockpiles impossible(for now)?

Actually, it isn't mine per se, it's my neighbour's (Aisetaselanau)

However, yes. We only had 30 Litres of it, while Aisetaselanau has 70. It is quite dangerous to store and manufacture. Any contact with air creates the deadly vapour.

(Each rocket carying it is equiped with 2 Litres. We used up eleven rockets, or 22 Litres. We will recieve more from Aisetaselanau within the month.)
