Seed of the Baobad

Now there were some terrible seeds on the planet that was the home of the little prince; and these were the seeds of the baobab. The soil of that planet was infested with them. A baobab is something you will never, never be able to get rid of if you attend to it too late. It spreads over the entire planet. It bores clear through it with its roots. And if the planet is too small, and the baobabs are too many, they split it in pieces . . .
- Antoine de Saint Exupéry, The Little Prince

The soldiers, youth, merely children in the eyes of many, retuned from the long trek of the morass that was Libya. They lost. Of all things they lost. That dark skinned man dwelled on their minds, his words marked them. One of the youngest of the soldiers, his pants still stained from when he soiled himself, was branded with the cryptic words of the Hadulan soldier.

You and your children are already dead to me.

The reception was huge as the boat came into Mississippi. Despite the great joy of the returning youth from Libya, there was a solemn blanket of defeat over the welcoming, and those in the crowd seem half-hearted in their efforts to revitalize the situations, and the soldeirs were ashamed just o be alive in this dour moment. Despite this, this day was forgotten, as are many things.

Sometimes things of importance.

[OOC: CM, I'll let you handle to first cases of the virus. Note that the protein structure of the virus is almost completely different from HIV, and when first coming to life the seed virus remains dormant for 10-20 years, until activating. You can do some preliminary studies, as you learn more, I will give you more in the RP.

BTW, this is for anyone who may be affected or may be concerend. So it really isn't closed. This is also CM approved, we both decided it over MSN.]

The youths were to be settled in Western Sahara, Mississippi didn't want them... They'd serve as a constant reminder of white defeat. So they were being sent to Western Sahara. Each soldier would be given a genetic examination and a complete physical examination before being allowed in Western Sahara. (CM physicals test for syphilis, herpes, and a few other STDs. Syphilis is the most common STD amongst Mississippians, with over 30% of males over 16 having contracted it at least once in their lives. It's much less common amongst females. And people are regularly checked for it. The current estimated prevalence rate of Syphilis is 5% of the population infected with it and not knowing it. Once you find out, treatment is mandatory, and it's usually cured from your system in 3-4 weeks at the most)

Well the youths will soon arrive.
