Today, the naked mole rat was arrested in connection with the murders of Abbie Rubin, Barry Insane, Howard Ford, Anne R. Key, and Premier Vang. Evidence gathered at the mole rat's residence overwhelmingly and conclusively proves that he hired a hitman to murder the candidates in ways that would be perceived as accidents. The naked mole rat has, via a translator, repeatedly and emphatically denied the charges. Should the mole rat be found guilty, the sentence will likely be a life sentence in a federal prison or execution by firing squad, in addition to dividing up the campaign money and giving it to the victims' families. The trial shall commence immediately. All nations are invited to attend.

Julio Ganamaki, a rather prestigious lawyer and civil servant of the Proletarian Party, filed in witht he rest of the jury, sitting with his briefcase beside him. Half asian and half hispanic, he waiting patiently for the prosecution to start. He had been following the story of the elections in Roach-Busters, and was specifically choen by someone from high up in the Dominion to come. Most members of the Proletarian Party, much less a Hispanic, would not even be left to live by the Dominion, but they knew he would suit their purposes, for the moment.

Stating mechanically "I serve the mole rat, I will kill you" JL then proceeded to shoot the miscreants hand off, and before he could fire the gun. The intruder then melted and no identification could be taken.

Meanwhile the tall dark mass murder Julian Bronx's family were distraught to hear that not only was he refused appeal, but he had been mind wiped and re programmed. And not only this but he has dishapeared. He hbas a built in chip that will destroy his body if required and rumours are it was activated for some reason this morning. "He was doing tasks and something unporedicted happened, we had to shut him down" is the official line.

The accused will be returned to his cell and any information gained through illegal means of torture will not be admitted.

"Your honor, the use of lie detectors is illegal in my country, as they are horribly inaccurate. They usually are only used in interrogation to intimidate the questioned to tell the truth."

Orange state is future tech and so would have incredibly accurate lie detectors, therefore NQP encourages their use, in Orange state while not using them themselves as NQP is not future tech.

OS prefers "other methods" as this intimidates criminals more.
