Due to an easy pick-up of the signal of the Terror Cell 219's transmission, a small band of the Gestapo (Secret Service/Police) have been dispatched eight miles out of the trace epicenter.

The small band of four elite agents slowly made their way through the back alleys of the nearby town, their forms cloaked in an ominous aura that seems to shroud their every action. Each, armed with their chose impliments draw near to the HQ of the small terrorist militia. The SQ of the Gestapo dispatched, known as Schultz, was well known for quickly assassinating political enemies along with any small group or groups that Der Fuhrer decided was of importance, and needed to be eradicated.
The SQ drew close, gently snipping away at the small barbed wire fence that protected the terrorist compound, it didn't do well. The four entered the area, then waited for following orders...

Today the Ministry of Defence has released information on what has now been dubbed the 'Polaris Tradgedy'. Yesterday a transmition was intercepted from a terrorist organisation. This was then traced and a Praetonian special forces team was inserted by helicopter. This was named Operation Polaris. However Tyrandian Forces destroyed the are from orbit including our helicopter.

The stroy goes deeper than a simple mistake as the Tyrandians claim to have picked up the helicopter going down, and so presumably raises the question of why did they open fire if they detected a Praetonian helicopter in the area. The Tyrandian Government is yet to comment.

Families of the dead marines are expected to receive some sort of compensation, and the marines themselves are expected to be given full state funerals.

OOC: 1) The signal was triangulated as coming from there. Whether or not it was a base is irrelevant, because, barring them having some very advanced equipment which I think they neither have, nor have the money to aquire, nor understand, the 'spokesman' was there.

2) Considering in NS time the rod was dropped maybe 3 minutes after the transmition was made, I doubt he could escape the 20 miles radius.

The interesting question is what country was he in and what do they have to say about it?

The RAVEN spy network of Tyrandis swiftly detected the immense mobilization of Gilabadian units to the few terrorists that escaped the initial strike. As soon as the idiots began to unload their cargo, 40 Rods from God crashed into them, killing everyone within a twenty-five mile radius.

Hello Comrade citizens and welcome to the 6:00 news. Today our great and beloved nation has suffered a great loss with the death of our great and beloved Comrade General Secretary. He was murdered by a terrorist from Terror Cell 219. May you rest in peace Comrade Josef Stalin.

supplying terriosts is a crime and the only way to punish a nation that has is to Declare War or make a blockade of all supplies going into your country.

However, it should be said that he is new and it would have been more interesting to assume he had taken precautions... for example Praetonia could try and track it and it you find out that it's too short to locate. Maybe Praetonia could have responded as though he himself had terrorist organisation who wanted to join them so he could find intel... To be honest, it doesn't matter, the start was pretty much expected.

Your post, however, is a horrible breach in RP etiquette regarding combat actions. You automatically find him, not allowing him the chance to have, I don't know moved (which is quite common for these things really) but you also claimed damage with your Ortillery "Destroying everything in twenty miles" not paying attention to the fact that terrorists offend operate in someone elses nation... your action in it self could start a war with an innocent nation. But hell, you don't even know where they are because you didn't think to work it out beforehand, you just traced and fired. Lets imagine for a moment this guy was based in another large nation, I've seen it done before... he could have been in Holy Panooly, who are secretly supporters of terrorists, if this had been the case you would have fired on Holy Panooly without any form of provocation, he would be in his rights to demand compensation or start nuclear war with you.
