Due to a large military purchase from a regionmate to modernize the Ganurathi military, the Liberational Party and Civility Party have managed to, at least temporarily, gain a power base to each challenge the influence of the Idealist Party. Things have become pretty level without outside involvement, but foreign opinion has therefore become the deciding factor in the power struggle.

Idealist- Libertarians with loose influence over the nation, just like they support. Anti-fascist, pro-civil rights, education over inforcement, indifference on military recently questioned by purchase.

Liberational Party- Believes people everywhere deserve freedom, and try to encourage the economy and military so Ganurath can take down what tyrants they can. Their favor of brute force to diplomacy allowed a gain in recent events.

Civility Party- A recent and fast rising third party that believes an organized structure is the only real way to ensure freedom. Favors enforcement and botching political rights while still maintaining civil rights and a solid economy. Structure they claim is needed for a military overhaul, and thus they are now an even match for Idealists and Liberationals.

Recent Events:

Civilist Party supporters made a campaign demonstration on the inefficiency of a loss government, and a mob of intoxicated Liberationals broke out in a violent response. The formally unrecognized Liberational Police Force managed to prevent any lasting damage, although the minor riot did result in several wounded bystanders and Civilists.

An internet site that represents the views of the local religion has offered moral support for the Idealists and scorns the Civilist Party for trying to repress the people. Civilists responded with an internet campaign encouraging religious diversity, which was inadvertantly supported by the Liberationals.

Official Imperial Statement

The Imperial government will offer its full support to the Civilist party. Sums of up to six billion dollars may find their way into the hands of this party.

Recent Events:
Recent funding from foreign sources has made it's way into the hands of the Civilist Party, which is being used to fund a campaign in ganurath's major port cities. The Liberationals almost immediately accused the Civilists of attaining the money through immoral methods, but the Idealists scorned the Liberationals for their shortsighted accusation.

A Liberational official was recently assaulted by an unidentified assailent, who is currently being tracked down by the combined efforts of the Ganurathi Law Enforcement and the Liberational Police Force. As a result, the Civilist coastal campaign and Liberational propaganda begins to emphasis law enforcement, while Idealists encourage further improvement of education.
