For the last several months, the ANL has been following a policy of not using weapons or vehicles contructed out of depleted uranium, and replace the DU contaminated equipment with tempered and stainless steel armored vehicles, in addition to tungsten based equipment and munitions. While the ANL military is midway through an agressive campaign to replace all vehicles and weapons composed of DU, there are several vehicles and munitions that can not be retro-fitted with an alternative subtance. To comply with policy, these items must be eliminated from the ANL's invetory. Therefore, the ANL will be selling it's entire invetory of DU vehicles and munitions.

Here are some base rules:

The ANL will not sell to nations that are known warmongers and trouble makers. In addition, we will not sell to terrorists, or nations that are hostile or enemies towards the ANL's allies and friends.

By purchasing this equipment, you are buying at your own risk. The ANL is not responsible for the possible serrious health, evironmental, diplomatic and tactical ramifications brought on by exposure to depleted uranium. If you wish to know of the possible side effects, we will be happy to tell them.

The ANL is a socialist/communist nation. Although we are democratic, anti-authoritarian and have very little regulations on people's lives, making us a free nation, we stand firm on our commitment to our economic system. If you have a probem with that, you do not have to buy from us.

Shortly after the ANL's creation, the government began to form up it's military. Knowing of the fame of the Abrams serries tanks, the ANL quickly bought 540 M1A2 tanks. Originally, the government intended to buy 500, but the government accidentally ordered 40 more. These tanks have seen no major combat action, with the exception of the ANL Civil War (OOC: RL dates February 10th to April 28th.) These tanks often time served in conflicts against anti-communist rebels. In the war, two tanks were destroyed. Since the civil war, the tanks have been de-activated and re-activated due to a fluctuating economy cutting on the budget. With the ANL finally banning DU, these tanks were de-activated and put in storage.

The tanks come with their complementary shells.
