OOC: Due to the fact that I will soon be moving to future tech, I figured I'd be best to put down some stuff I will be using, so here it is:


FTL Drives

warp drive

This warp drive creates an immensly powerful electro-magnetic field around the space craft. This electro-magnetic field, in the vacum known as space, fluctuates. This fluctuation can cause negative energy. As this negative energy is formed around the spherical electro-magnetic field, it is stabilized. This negative energy creates a warp bubble around the space craft. The ships engines propel it foward, as it would if it were going to be traveling at an FTL speed. In front of the bubble, space-time contracts, reducing the distance to the destination. Behind the bubble, space-time expands, lengthening the distance from the origin. The space craft, would stand relative to the space immediately around it, and the crew would experiance no other feeling of excelleration. The average one, when pushed to the max, can reach about 500 light years per hour, but there are very variable that affect the speed, so exceding that ins not unheard of.

transverable wormhole

This wormhole is created when light energy is squeezed. It then will creates a less than microscopic wormhole. Negative energy is than immediatly put into the wormhole before it can destabilize. This negative energy expands the wormhole to a macroscopic size and then stabilizes it. The negative energy is produced from a fluctuating electro-magnetic field in a vacuum. The wormhole must be created in a very close proximity to the space craft, due to the fact, that it would close up quickly, as the positive side expands and the negative side contracts in proportion. That prevents another space craft from following it through the same wormhole. This wormhole, like all others allows for almost instantaenous travel to the other sid of the wormhole.

Replication Technology
(The basic idea of this is from the replicators from Stargate SG-1 but my version is different)

Using this technology, a 2" by 1.5" block is created. This block can be composed of any metal. Inside of this block are biological cells. The cells are very similiar to the cells found in a human brain, only with slight genetic modifacations. These modifications allow the cells to multiply, when energy is added to it in a specific frequency, which can only be produced by a chemical reaction within the cells. Each cell's make up allows it to recieve energy and store it from almost anything. It also links each cell into a vast communication network, with all the other cells in all the other blocks, allowing them all to act as one. The electric charge stored within each cell, in each block, allows the blocks to "connect" together, and form what is needed to get their common goal done. When about 100 of these blocks come together, they form an insect like creature, a replicator. The purpose of this form is to gather metal, to create more of themselves, and replicate. The replicator uses the gathered metal to create another block. The replicator then emits the correct frequency within its cells, to split and multiply. The new cells are then placed into the empty block, bringing it online. These replicators are also capable of infecting humans with an online block. The replicator can insert the block into the back of a persons neck. The block would then interface with that persons brain, and take it over. This would basically turn the person into a replicator-human hybrid making them just the same as any ordinary replicator. They become one with all the other blocks. Without having to search for metal, a replicator can create another active block in about 10 seconds. They can be destroyed just like anything else, so a replicators main tactic for attack and survival is to replicate as much as possible and overwhelm the enemy. Since all are conected, anything one learns or experiances is known to all. This is one of the reasons why they are very adaptable.

The FTL Destroyer Missle v.1 & v.2

This is a missle desighned to destroy large space craft from the inside out.

v.1
This missle is about 20' long, with a diameter of about about 3'. Within it, is a miniature fission reactor. This reactor occupies the back 10' of the missle. The next 5' of the missle is occupied by a powerful electro-magnetic generator, a powerful optic laser, and and a flash light. The flash light emits light, which is then bent by the optic laser. This creates the starting of a transversable wormhole. This wormhole starts out microscopic. The electro-magnetic generator creates an electro-magnetic field in the vacuum of space. This fluctuates and creates negative energy. The negative energy expands the wormhole to a macroscopic size, allowing for the missle to pass through it. It is basically the same as my transversble wormhole FTL drive, only on a smaller scale. Due to the fact that it is on a smaller scale, is why it is only capable of jumping through a wormhole, of a maximum of 200 meters in length. It does have a cylindrical compartment, 5' in length and a diameter of 3'. In this space, a nuclear warhead, or replicators could be placed. It is desighned to get within about 100 meters of the ship, and then use the wormhole to jump into the enemy space craft, and detonate or disperse its replicators throughout the space craft.

v.2

This is the smaller, less sophisticated version of v.1. It is only 10' in length and a diameter of 3'. It uses my warp FTL drive. In place of a minature fission reactor, powerful battery cells are used as a powersource. The battery cells take up the back 5' of the missle. The next 3' are occupied by a powerful electro-magnetic generator. The front 2' are made of an extremly strong alloy that comes to a point. This missle tries to accellerate beyond the speed of light, and use its short time at that speed to bypass a space craft's shield, and then use the resulting momentum of coming out of a FTL speed to slice through the enemy space craft.

Both missle's are controlled by a single replicator block. This block links the missle to the entire communication network, that the replicators work on. The missles have are not capable of anything other than guidence corrections and FTL speed. They are fired from an electro-magnetic torpedo tube.


Electro-Magnetic Torpedo Tube

These can be adjusted to fit any width torpedo, from 1' to 5', and can accomodate any torpedo from 5' to 25'. It uses a powerful electro-magnetic pulse to fire its contents. It is built in 4 tube blocks, which have limited rotation. A slide loading system is used to increase rate of fire. Each tube is rear-loading. Each 4 tube block is controlled by 1 replicator block. It can draw energy from whatever powersource it is attached to.

The Particle Acceleration Beam Cannon

This weapon comes in 3 sizes, small, medium, and large. The larger the PABC, the larger the energy requirements. The small can run off of battery cells, the medium can run off of a small fission reactor, and the large can run off of an average fusion reactor. The electrons in the PABC are speed up and used to create immense amounts of heat. This heat is then focused and released in a quick burst. They ar mounted in groups of three, that share limited rotation, and a single replicator block, for control.


The Shock Cannon

This weapon charges a powerful bolt of electricity, and then releases it in a controlled burst lasting up to 30 seconds. This requires at least a miniature fission reactor to power. The storage cell is about 5' by 5'. The cannon itself is about 5' long, with a 3' diameter. They are mounted in sets of 1, with limited rotation, controlled by a single replicator block.

The Replication Shield

This can thousands upon thousands of replicator blocks, depending on the size of the object. At a threat of attack the sheild will expand a wall of replicator blocks at the point of impact, tthis way the replicators absorb the blow instead of the ship. This is more the last a last line of defence, and can be assembled on the go, if the number of replicator blocks is there.

The EMFF

The electro-magnetic force field uses an immensly powerful electromagnetic field to repel even the charged ions in matter. It is very similiar to my warp drive FTL, only it does not attempt to create or stabilize negative energy. This requires massive amounts of power, with each hit it takes, putting more and more stress on the powersource, until it trips and the shield shuts down. After It has had time to recharge, the shield will come back online.

Photo-Snythetic Projection Nanites

These microscopic, man-made organisims, are designed to mimic there surroundings and project it upon whatever surface they reside on, while an electric current is run through it. This renders the ship invisible to sight.

Repli-Fighters

These are a hybrid of replicators and machines, to create a space fighter. They are small, only 10' long and 3' wide and 5' tall. Each uses photo-synthetic projection nanites for cloaking, a particle accelerator for thrust, a weak EMFF, a Shock Cannon, and 2 small PABC mountings. The rest of it is held together by about 500 replicator blocks. A miniature fusion reactor, combined with the power from the replicator blocks, provide power for the craft. These are not cabable of FTL speed, and are usually carried onboard a larger craft.

Very well thought out. Everything seems to be in order. In fact, some of this stuff seems rather interesting, like the Replicator stuff.

About how fast do you think these FTL drives will go? (In either terms of 'c' or light years per second)

The Shocking End Rocket

This is another version of my FTL Destroyer Missle. It is 25' long, with a diameter of 5'. It is fired from an electro-magnetic torpedo tube, just like the FTL Destroyer Missle. This uses a transversable wormhole FTL drive. The back 10' of the missle is miniature fusion generator. The next 5' contains the electro-magnetic generator, powerful optic lasers, and a flashlight. The next 10' of the rocket, is occupied by a massive nuclear bomb. The rocket is designed to create a super nova. It does this by creating a wormhole leading into the center of the iron core of a star. The nuclear payload then detonates and causes the iron core of the star to collapse. As the core collapses, the outer layers of the star fall inward and bounce outward in a massive shockwave, a super nova. If the star was big enough, more than 3 times greater than the mass of the RL sun, then it is very likely that a blackhole would be formed. This rocket is guided by a single replicator block.


The Star Drain

This works similiar to the Shocking End Rocket, only instead of detonating a warhead in the core, this actually uses an immensly powerful electro-magnet to suck some of the core back into the wormhole. Many things are required for this to work properly. This requires the use of the same transversable wormhole drive, that would be used on a space craft, that makes a space craft an excellent platform for it. It then requires yet another extremly powerful fusion reactor to power an immense electro-magnet. The electro-magnet is then used to suck some of the iron core out of the star. This creates an imbalence in the core and causes it to collapse, and triggers the entire super nova chain of events.(Outlined in The Shocking End Rocket's information) This entire system is run by 10 replicator blocks. This is very dangerous to the user because, if they are to close to the star, they would be engulfed in the super nova, and if thier end of the wormhole isnt positioned correctly, then liquid iron, heated to the temperature of a star, might be pouring onto The Star Drain.

The Matter Modification Machine

This machine requires massive amounts of energy. This energy is produced by a large fusion reactor. Connected to this reactor is two 12' by 12' by 12' boxes, connected together with a 5' by 5' by 5' shaft. Within this machine, resides immensly powerful lasers. Both boxes contain 10' by 10' by 10' holding cells. Operating this machine is about 500 replicator blocks. In the first box, the matter you wish to change is placed. This can be anything that is composed of atoms, it doesnt really matter. After the doors to both boxes are sealed, the process begins. The lasers are used to tear apart the atoms in the first box. It then seperates them into protons, neutrons, and electrons. These are then reorganized into different atoms in the second box. In another words, if the first box is full of hydrogen, then the hydrogen is split into protons, neutrons, and electrons. In the second box, These protons, neutrons, and electrons are put back together, only in a different order. Basically instead of putting the protons, neutrons, and electrons back together in the form of hydrogen atoms, they are rearranged into oxygen atoms, or what ever you want. As for now it can only make elements. It allows for a much easier way of getting, oh say, uranium, and basically gives you an infinite amount of it, as long as you can find some other atoms to feed to the machine.

The Hunter Destroyer

This is a relatively small, fast craft, designed to sneak up on a larger space craft, destroy it quickly, and get out of there before anyone knows what happened. This space craft is about 200 meters in legnth. It is rather cylindrical in shape, with a diameter of 50 meters. A special feature of this is it contains 2 different FTL drives. It has both my warp drive, and my transversable wormhole drive. It uses a massive Particle Accelerator, for sub-light engines. It also has various stealth features, including cloaking, made possible by my photo-synthetic nanite technology. Most of the remaining space on the craft is used up by 2 large fusion generators. My EMFF is employed, for defence. It contains about 200 replicator blocks, and room for 10 humans. Because of all these things, weapon space is limited. It contains 3 individual electro-magnetic torpedo tubes. Its standard weapons load is 6 FTL Destroyer missles v.1, 6 FTL Destroyer missles v.2, and a single Shocking End Rocket. These space craft due have the ability to be carried on another, larger space craft.

Plasma Torpedo

A small 5' long torpedo, with a 1' diameter. It is fired out of the electro magnetic torpedo tube. As the torpedo leaves the tube, it begins a change of state, turning from Carbon, into super heated plasma.

The Sunken Class Defender

This 2km long, 1km wide, .5 km high craft also contains both of my FTL drives. For sub-light travel, 4 large particle accelerators are used. It is powered by 3 massive fusion reactors. It uses my EMFF for defense, and carries various weapons systems. It has 10 electro-magnetic torpedo mounts (4 tubes per mount). It also has 20 large PABCs, 5 Shock Cannons, 50 medium PABCs(mounted in pairs), and 100 small PABCs(mounted in 4s). This space craft also carries 6 Hunter Destroyers, and 150 Repli-Fighters. It uses my photo-synthetic nanites for cloaking capabilities. Because it contains all these things, there is only room for about 50 people, and full weapon stores. It is controlled by about 1,000 replicator blocks.

Ribbon Device
This is the weapon for all hybreds. It can only be used by a hybred. This is because it actually channels energy from the replicator block into the crystal in the device. The crystal is made from what we like to call "element 215". In the crystal, the energy is focused and a powerful electromagnetic charge is collected. It is then released with a quick burst, throwing the enemy back, possibly crushing the person, if administered close enough. It can also release the em charge in a slow powerful way, creating a small forcefield. An electrical bolt, can also be released for an extended period of time. If directed towards the person's brain, it would cause immense pain, and kill the person, as quickly, as strong as the bolt used by the user is.

Repli-Fighter v.2
It is basically the same as the original, only it carries a electro-magnetic torpedo tube in place of most of the other weapons. It uses plasma torpedos.
