Praetonian AirWays (PAW), the recently privatised airline industry that controls all of Praetonia's commercial aircraft and civil aviation production in Praetonia is looking to purchase foreign companies to expand it's dominance into foreign markets. PAW offers excellent quality services at an affordable price. The current natural monoploy has allowed them to gain a huge number of aircraft and terminal space, allowing PAW to be on time most of the time.

Last year PAW reported profits of $86bn last year, and is now prepared to attempt takeover bids of smaller foreign airways. All currently employed staff will be kept on, those not well trained enough to do their job under PAW administration will be retrained to bring them up to speed. There will be no wage cuts or service cuts, and under the blanket of such a large company services will be improved as will profitability. So if you are interested in selling a airline then please contact PAW Central Office in Praeton.

[OOC: Hope you don't mind the revival of this thread... I just rediscovered my airlines post from a long time ago and I'm trying to do some RP with this airline. The original information about the airline is as follows:

Townshend Air: This airline is just getting off the ground as a low-cost airline and offers flights to remote locations in Sarzonia that the two major carriers do not. Its customer service is among the worst of any company in Sarzonia, but a shakeup in the boardroom may lead to massive reforms.]

Townshend Air CEO Lyle Rosenburg knew that his airline was in major financial trouble. Revenues were down 47 percent from the previous fiscal year and the company just had to lay off 13 percent of its workers. Attrition and restructuring could only account for a nine percent reduction in expenses, but that wasn't going to be enough to offset the lack of revenue.

Rosenburg looked at the ages-old offer from Praetonian AirWays for an acquisition and he figured that might be better than filing for bankruptcy or being seized by the government. He figured it was worth a shot, at least.

He sent a transmission to PAW:

We have read your offer to acquire another airline. We at Townshend Air would like to know if that offer is still on the table. We can discuss the particulars of this offer with you if you are interested.

He hoped he would get a favourable answer.
