His suit was adjusted and his hair combed. His shoes were shined and his makeup was applied. He stepped out of a nameless preparation room away from his nameless aides and onto a makeshift stage and podium positioned in a room he was sure had had never seen. Chairs were set out and the reporters gathered in packs like wolves. They waited to pounce, clothed in overpriced clothes and with over hyped personalities. He gave them a nod, playing the silent game he had to play in order to stay respected. The cameras started up. Nigel Rightly, Prime Minister of Vendi , cleared his throat.

"Car bombs, shooting rampages, nuclear weapons. These things have been synonymous with terrorism, and terrorism has become synonymous with international relations. Agencies and organizations have tried to combat this threat, but like a cunning disease it has adapted to our tactics. However, while terrorism acts as a singular disease, we quarrel over territory and jurisdiction. We are unable to put aside petty differences to put an end to this disease. We fight to stop terrorism like rival treasure hunters instead, when we should be acting as a team of doctors and scientists.

Vendi counts herself among the ranks of nations with membership in anti-terror groups and we wish that unification would occur. However, where unification fails cooperation just begins. I would ask today that all nations and regions that believe themselves opposed to terrorism share information with Vendi. We promise you that it will be seen by our superiors in the Brothers in Arms. Any information will be useful. Provide us with names and locations and crimes and we will make sure that justice is served. Even information and suspicion are helpful so that we may put individuals and organizations on our watch lists. Whether it is by our own Vendi Black Knights or soldiers from the BiA pool, we will use them to best defend the world. This is our word, our word we do not break. Thank you."

The flashbulbs flashed and the reporters jumped up, reaching out with notepads and pens. They yelled over one another and he calmed them.

"One at a time. We'll start with Andrea."

The CYSIS (Celtayoshi State Intelligence Service) is a very secretive organisation, we prefer to gather and share intelligence only with trusted allies, however, should we uncover threats which directly link with Vendi the information will be scrubbed clean to protect the source and then handed over.

The CYSIS has our thanks for it's contribution. If ever you are in a time of need, you will not be forgotten.

Yours In Cooperation,
Nigel Rightly
