It is the wish of King Archibald XXIII that you read the following statement:

In the next few weeks Haughtainia will be preparing celebrations to mark the 75th anniversery of King Archibald XXIII's coronation. They have already planned the biggest fireworks display in history and are getting ready to have a great Air show in honour of their highly advanced air force. But Haughtainia's King, (who has been very ill as of late), wishes that this will be be an international event, not just including Haughtainia and her allies in the B.I.E, but the whole world and asks that other countys will join in the celebrations in the name of peace and a brighter future. He asks that armed forces around the world will send soldiers to represent their nation in a military parade. He also wishes that other nations send planes to contribute to the air show, or their most famous battle ships to awe the people of the nationstates world. But this is not just a military event. There will be a great carnival with thousands of peoples showing of of their cultures and tradtions. There will be organised events all around the nation and colonies of Haughtainia. It is also said that the king will be anouncing the heir to the throne. Most people think it will be Prince John III, but there are many other likely contenders who would be willing to take the crown. There all ready has been a shadow cast upon this great event, however. Recent events in Dranganovia have made Haughtainia a likely nazi terrorist target, and security will be extremely tight. In all, this event will be a historical one which will, literally, be remembered for centuries to come. Central Londomain (an area normaly reserved for Knights, nobles and royalty,) will be open to the public for the first time in 25 years for the ceremonies. and the parade and carnival will go right through the city, until it reaches Centintine palace. It then will move on to the buildings that will be built to house them. The navy and airshow will be hosted on Lonomain sea front where Haughtainia industries and the other armaments companies will be able to show of the military hard ware that graces armed forces around the world. A religous ceremony will be held at Londomain cathedral and a huge show will be held in Haughtainia stadium showing off the talents, traditions and skill of people from nations across the world. If enough nations contribute to this show, then this truly will be the greatest show on earth!.

A royal Proclamation, written in newspapers, (or your nation's equivalant of newspapers) and sent to national Leaders, Mayors, Lords etc... across the nationstates world.


OOC: This is a recruitment drive to get nations to join in the celebrations of the King of Haughtainia's Diamond Jubilee. If you are willing to contribute to this great event, then please say who you are and what and how you are going to contribute.

Thank you for your response and I hope that your part of the ceromonies is succesfull. Haughtainia will make a note of the units you're sending and will add them to the jubilee ceromony thread that I will make when enough people apply to join the jubilee.

Findhorn thanks His Royal Highness for the opportunity to mark our return to the world stage by taking part in the Diamond Jubilee. We would like to send the following:

1. The National Pipe Band, led by the redoubtable Andy Mhic Alpin.

2. A 13-member troupe of Morris dancers, including Hobbyhorse.

3. Granny McDonald, our oldest inhabitant, age 132, and her great-great- nephew Fergus, who keeps her wheelchair running. (She's something of a media personality here. We'll understand if she doesn't come back.)

4. Anchorpeople for radio and television, political writer Laurie McOakes and assorted technical staff to ensure saturation coverage.

Recognising the regrettable need for security, we will send documentation and DNA profiles for all members of our delegation. These will be carried under diplomatic seal by myself, Brother Aneurin Ap Rhys, and will not leave my person until delivered direct to the appropriate hands. I am empowered by the Community of Findhorn to take part in any subsequent negotiations on the role of our nation in the British Isles.

The Grand Duchy of Maless will send the Brookhaven Historical Re-enactment society, who are known for their realistic recreations of famous historical battles such as Agincourt.

Jonothana will send the 31st air show regiment, consisting of 2 harriers, 1 B - 1, and 1 B - 2. They are tranied to fly incredibly low. We also would like to donate 100 troops to march in the prossesion. All aieroplanes and troops will be armed in case of an attack.
