A spokesperson for the new Emperor of the Empire revealed to a shocked public that a revolution had taken place five weeks ago. "[the revolution] consisted of a bloody massacre of the janitors in the Imperial Palace, followed by the quiet assassination of the Emperor (bloody details to follow)."
He was locked between two boats and set adrift on the palace lake. He slowly died of internal infection after having subsisted on adiet of his own waste.
The new Emperor is named Romulini Spartacini. His political yes-men are the Despotic Nationalists, and the thwarted former Emperor's party was the Neo-Fasco-Commo-Confedero-Monarchists. The neutral party is the State Industry Party.
