The MacDonald line
Following spies reporting that FPC could be planning to retake old territory Kahta is going to build a line of fortifications 15 miles deep. This will guard the frontier and prevent any operation by FPC. It will be 15 times more powerful than the maginot line. The line will be over 8,000 kilometers long. The cost will absorb $5 Trillion a year and will take 15 NS years (10 RL weeks) It will be built by layers so that there will be at least some protection if war breaks out before.
Irondin just wishish to say that is not a good move tacticly because its Static
Its deep enough to hamper any offensive. Its 15 miles of mines, emplacements, casemates, and bunkers. 1 Million soldiers will man it.
Dose it cover your all your hostile boarders becuse they can just flank if if you dont.

LMAO!!! Maginot Line sucked ass. They built it in the wrong place and even if the germans did attack it head on, they germans would have crushed them. I believe the germans would have took longer to take my bedroom than France. LOL

If the Maginot line was built all the way to the atlantic then Germany not have invaded france taking far heavier casualties. If the Maginot line was insignificant than Hitler would have attacked it.

Actually, Hitler made feint attacks against the Line. The Feint attacks actually penetrated in places.

All you have to do is concentrate the attack on a narrow front so you only have to deal with a little of the defenses at the time, and once you break through encircle the rest from behind.
Static defenses are not the best defense option in today's world, with deep-penetration weapons and highly mobile fighting forces.

Either way, my line is more powerful. There werent SAM's, accurate radar, or wire guided ATGM's, plastic mines, etc. In 1940.

We have mobile forces to counter those. And we will not hesitate to render zones uninhabitable by dumping chemical weapons there.
We will have chemical weapons ready to deploy if needed.

Oy! What about the Mannerheim-line. It held the Russians off from Finland for ages. It was loosely built, camouflagued

Well, this wall will be just as effective, in fact, current estimates by international organizations do not see how a modern army can cross it.
The second mile has been completed. Progress is going much faster than estimated, however the cost is quickly rising. Taxes have gone from a flat rate of 27% two years ago to 33% this year mainly because of the cost of building this wall, and the Victora wall.

I just want to make sure that everyone knows that any fort can be defeated. But the greater the fort, the greater the cost in lives and money. The Magnot line did its job, in a way, because Hilter did not choose to attack it head on. And this line will insure that any of Kahta's enemy will not attack that border.
Good Luck.
It is not undefeatable, but we are also stocking storage depots within the line with chemical weapon dispensing landmines. Our scientists are working on a new chemical that can last for 25 years undisturbed.
There has been another feature added to the areas that have no natural hills:
Dirt will be piled up for 10 degrees for a total length of one mile, then they will go down for a mile at a 15 degree slope. There will also be cement trenches, 25 feet deep and 35 feet wide at the bottom of each valley. These trenches will be filled with water. At each side of the trench will be mines with chemical weapons. These mines though, are only activated when they stop receiving a signal that is broadcasted from an orbiting space station every 15 minues.

Now thats just cheap+It's godmoding to have an "undefeatable" fort/wall/line

I know its not undefeatble, but I have over 100 million people living behind this wall, and I will not allow them to fall to FPC.
I am reconsidering the chemical weapons to maybe something that increases the speed at which steel and iron corrode, forming rust. That way their weaponry will become largeley useless. Or maybe good old VX will do the trick.

Kuka nyt Mannerheim-linjasta ei olisi kuullut... Yeah, I'm Finnish
For what it was, the Mannerheim Line did a good job. It held until Timoshenko launched that massed armored attack to break it.

The third mile has been completed. 15 Million people are working on the project 24 hours a day. Concrete and steel production is at full capacity.
