Entering the Mexican Sea proved to be easier than expected, and the several Generals of the campaign were quiet confident of a victory. On the massive fleet's flagships, the leaders of the Spencertopian military were discussing the actions and strategies which would be taken during the war on Communist Mississipi. Nevertheless, now that they were nearing waters belonging to the enemy government, they had to take up defensive positions, and had to be on high alert.

The soldiers which had been sent were primed and ready for battle, with a thirst for blood. Almost uncontrollable, they screamed in the need for the taste blood, and they had been offered their meal, the government of Communist Mississipi. With absolute feriousity, they would reign hell upon the enemy, no matter the cost, no matter the losses....

Whilst all this was happening, a message was being transmissioned to all over the globe from the home of Spencertopia. Lord Sierus himself was making an announcement, which hopefully, would get the world's attention;

"Many of you are familiar with the evil government of Communist Mississipi. Many of you are familiar with their openly racist policies, such of those which can catagorise them as a "white supremesist" doctorine. This cannot be allowed, as under the global rule, all men are equal.

Communist Mississipi has had a record of committing crimes against humanity, such as the extermination of Jews, Blacks, and other non-white races. And yet they have not gone unpunished. We are those punishers, and we ask the world to join us in the crusade against the evil of racism. We cannot allow such things to go un-noticed, and we think it weak that the world has not made a stand yet.

Therefore, I am issuing an official declaration of war against the government of Communist Mississipi. Those who persecute others, shall be persecuted themselves..."

OOC Basically, this war has been strictly closed to just myself and Communist Mississippi. He wanted it to be closed, so here we go...

Announcement to the world: "Unless the planned invasion of Mississippi and his territories is abandoned immediately. We will immediately go Def Con 1 against Spencertopia and we will accept whatever losses we suffer in return. We are done negotiating, we are done talking, we are done making concessions. The Fleets had recieved word that the evil nation of Communist Mississipi had threatened Nuclear Warfare against Spencertopia. Quite stupid the commanders thought, consider the fact that they obviously would have the power and strength if it came to Nuclear Warfare.

As the commanders and Generals considered this very idea, the fleets continued to push toward the shore of Communist Mississipi. The invasion would continue, and Spencertopia would not be known as a nation to back down after recieving threats...

OOC: I hope that you realise that I accept at nothing more than 10% of your population to be in the army, WITH conscription... And you have to calculate the amount for support troops etc too, usually 3:1 is standard, 3 support members actually supporting one fighting soldier...

Mississippi is sending the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th fleets to meet the advance.

Each fleet consists of:

Fabus Island (It's a manmade island and it's about 25-30 miles off the coast of Mississippi, it's about 20 miles wide by 30 miles long)


To invade Mississippi himself, you must first take Fabus Island, one of the most heavily defended islands in the world.

Also the Mississippi coastal defenses were bolstered by over 18 years of labor making minefields, booby traps, bunkers, trenches, obstacles, etc. It's like the Atlantic Wall only we've had 18 years and modern technology to build it, also we weren't at war while building it. We took our time and made it right.

And the wall isn't manned by static divivisions of the 2nd rate infantry. We have the Republican Guard and RGISA defending the coast, some of the best units in the army.

I didn't even message him, but since we are neighbors, and you cannot invade me without entering his waters, he saw this as a declaration of war upon himself also.

I also made my fleet movement on page 1, and an air force move shortly later, he didn't reply to either. I also told him that Fabus Island would have to be his first target (like Okinawa would have to be taken to get to Japan) etc... He just kept the OOC remarks going. So I extend him the same ignore he extended me.

[OOC: I'm working with Sdaeriji to plan a quasi war and there've been at least four TGs and one AIM convo. We'll probably finish ironing out final details today in another IM. The TGs we did were pretty exhaustive, so I agree with ITD about that.

We didn't plan everything out *exactly* but we have enough of an overall structure to it that there should be few or no surprises.

Remember, NS wars aren't about who wins and who loses. It's about creating a great story that's believeable and entertaining.]
