Today Aegir Shipyards completed construction of the FINS Taranis. The first Taranis class destroyer produced for the Ferratian Imperial Navy. The ship measures 156m in length, and can hold two helicopters in the hangar near the stern. It is armed with one 5-inch gun on the bow, two 3-tube Mk32 torpedo launchers, one 8-tube Harpoon missile launcher, one 8-tube Sea Sparrow missile launcher, and a state-of-the-art 64 tube Vertical Launch System.
The Ferratian government will be producing an export version priced at approximately 90m USD.
