POLLS HAVE CLOSED- ALEC MANNERHEIM HAS WON THE ELECTION.

It's election time in Sevaris. This election, there are 4 candidates for the office of Premier.

Premier Alec Mannerheim (Conservative Party of Sevaris), age 42.

Platform (In Brief)
-Keeping current military levels
-Reduce government waste and bureacracy.
-Introduce a flat tax rate for all citizens and businesses.
-Keep the laws banning gay marriage and legalizing civil unions.

Representative Michel DeValera (Sevarisian Liberal Party.)- Age 51.

-Raise taxes on the wealthy and big business.
-Legalize gay marriage completely.
-Increase welfare benefits to all.
- Cut military size in half, but double spending/

-Restore Sevaris to a Marxist-Leninist State.
-Nationalize all industry.
-Triple military spending.
-Repeal all laws regarding the definition of marriage.

-Make Christianity the state religion. Convert all Non-Christians.
-Industry will be allowed to do whatever it wants, as long as it does not violate the teachings of Christ.
-Military spending to be tripled, to convert the "heathen".
-All gays will be shot.

I personally would not purchase shares in any one of those government factions, for the simple reason they are all incredibly extreme, and each one has some serious flaws...

Normally i'd support the marxist, but I think the Liberal Party has the best and most responsible platform.

Polls have closed- and Premier Mannerheim has won a decisive victory. The Conservative Party also fared well in local elections. It is a grand day for Sevaris- as the "Conservative Revolution", as Mannerheim put it, has gotten a great vote of confidence from the electorate.
