Thanks so much! My PhotoShop skills are very much out of use and I haven't used Paint. Not to mention the fact that I suck badly at Illustrator.

Two things :

1) How is this official? Have you got moderator approval or something? I suggest you change the name.

2) We have a regional map. I am the red one at the bottom on the right hand side. Could you make me a country map? BUT BE CAREFUL! IT'S BIG. Like 14 times too big for Imageshack big. However you should be fine with fast internet.

[OOC: Looks cool. It looks a little bit like there are four islands to the west of Sarzonia according to your depiction. In the map of Atlantian Oceania, it shows two islands to the southwest of Sarzonia and one more to the southeast. The largest island, and the one farthest from the mainland of Sarzonia, will be the state of New Praetonia. The smaller island will be the state of New Morathania. The island to the southeast will be the state of New Granzi.

Also, Woodstock is at the foot of the Lorber mountains, if I remember my information correctly in the center of the country.

Just a couple of thoughts. I'm sure it took a while to put it together. Thanks! :)]

Here is a map of Mauiwowee. I'd really like some comments.
Notes about the map:

1. "X" = a major military base, sorry, but I won't reveal if it is navy, air force, etc. (national security you know). Note also, not all are associated with major cities.

2. Note the volcanoes (black & yellow dots with names in red) Mt. Death and Mt. Surprise on Volcano/Smoke island are the most active. Mt. Prostate and Mt. Stem are the least active.

3. Please, just for fun, study the map carefully, there are many inside jokes as well as a fair amount of geological accuracy (i.e. note how the islands' names accurately reflect their shapes and how they probably fit together many thousands of years ago.)

4. On Earth V I own Australia, Hawaii and French Polynesia and this map doesn't count. However, I'll note in the involved thread that I'm RP'ing on whether it is an Earth V RP, otherwise use this map when RP'ing with me.

5. For those not used to reading relief maps, the lighter the area of the land mass, the higher the elevation.

6. If you have any other questions, please either post here, TG me or post in another thread I'm active in.

I have made something that could be a sticky. Euroslavia has made a thread that is very helpful. But, alas, they are not stickied due to constrants of space.

Sorry, i dont know if i could do that. The only difference between mine and yours is the locations of bases, capitals, important cities, and such.

Map Maker. See here (http://www.mapmaker.com/). Comes as either Map Maker Pro 3 free for 30 day trial, then buy a licence, or Map Maker Gratis which is free forever, but not as good.

I make pretty good maps. I'm opening a mapmaking service. So if you want a map made for your nation, send me a telegram saying:

•what cities you want on it.
•Is there a coastline?
•how many miles per inch, and how many inches in length and width.
•Any other land features that you want on it.
