A company message from OMilitary Ltd -- Great troops at Great Prices
Since 1987 OMilitary has been the leading supplier of military personnel and equipment in Omicon Alpha and beyond. Using the best hardware money can buy and deploying well-trained, motivated troops, OMilitary looks set to continue this trend.
In Omicron Alpha, legislation was passed some time ago to combat the vacuum we uniquely have. Omicron Alpha Government Incorporated doesn't have a military at their disposal! Unlike other governments, Omicron Alpha cannot simply invade another nation on a whim. Nor, however, could they defend against one.
So, all military organisations now operate under two prime commercial rules:
"Knowing that economic borders are compromised; respecting that Government Incorporated lacks defensive capabilities; all military organisations will defend Omicron Alpha in the event of a national emergency."
This rule was added to the Book of Trade, a veritably sacred document that all consumers and businesses follow to the letter, on pain of financial penalty.
The other rule is more informal:
"Principle military organisation, that being the majority of the market share under their control, shall hereby be responsible for establishing all national defence strategy."
Simply put, OMilitary is the chief supplier and operator of all fixed defensive facilities in Omicron Alpha, and if invaded, all other military organisations (i.e. Mercs R Us) shall temporarily fall under our command. We are paid annually for providing this service, of course, but it is our duty none-the-less and we carry it out.
With this in mind, directors of OMilitary have decided upon a pre-approved program of expansion, starting with the complete hostile take-over of the Victoria Alliance, the nation of Doujin, and NATO.
Haha, got you. Such violence is the concern of foreign anti-Economists, not us. That, and we do have some level of education. No, we are more interested in spreading our influence economically. High street branches of OMilitary are not uncommon here; private organisations looking for the best security force money can buy, or bodyguards and suchlike.
We would be interested in purchasing rights to establish such branches in other countries. Note that this is little more than a profit-building operation, not a military alliance. As stated before, such violence is the concern of foreigners, not us. No, if invaded you will still have to hire the troops to use as you see fit. See terms and conditions below for more information. If high street branches make you anti-Economists uncomfortable, something more akin to a military 'base' could be established, though still corporate in nature and open to the public. As troops are usually kept on standby near all branches for quick service, it could make for a great way to quickly augment your forces in the event of an invasion.
We need this extra money to increase the safety of commercial interests within Omicron Alpha. If you are interested, please reply to this thread.
Remember; hire from a local branch, and you get them quicker, with a 20% discount, and you gain access to various repayment plans. Order from abroad, however, and you have to pay full-price, with a single, less flexible repayment plan, and we have to ship your troops to you which takes time.

OMilitary personnel will not fire on other OMilitary personnel. Two opposing sides hiring OMilitary personnel and equipment for use on each other will find their contracts nullified without refund. One side may re-hire, but if the other does the same, contract will be nullified without refund again.
Emergency scenarios give customer priority service over less-urgent customers; delays possible for non-essential hiring. 'Insta-hire' program subject to availability.
All OMilitary personnel are insured by 'Insurance 4 Death', the premier death insurance company in Omicron Alpha. Any OMilitary personnel killed by friendly fire must be presented with evidence that it was accidental for insurance purposes. Otherwise, you are charged double for that soldier, and restrictions shall be placed upon you should you hire again. Abuse of OMilitary personnel and equipment shall result in legal action.
